  • Love Lacey's and Bexe's friendship. They had it tough but were always there for eachother and the love they have for eachother truly shows. The part when Lacey saved Bex when she almost got hit by the car almost made me cry. There's nothing you can't face together love always wins in the end. Love that in the end Bex supported Lacey's and Walker's relationship. Just beacouse your're in love with someone doesn't mean you have to leave you're friend behind. There's always room for everyone Walker is the sweetest boyfriend Super talented, caring, sweet and he loves Lacey for who she is. So happy they found eachother they truly make the perfect couple

I could never bear getting hit by a car, but if someone i really cared for was about to be, i would never let that happen. People say that i couldn't stop him getting killed, but i can stop others from suffering his fate, and their families from suffering my fate.

  • Great story! Having PTSD myself, this was pretty respectful and accurate to what it's like. When I was in middle school, I'd walk home with my brother everyday. Since we lived right across the street, it was a pretty easy walk. At least, it should have been. Unfortunately, at that time, I was terrible at crossing any streets. I wasn't allowed to go out anywhere on my own because of how bad it was. It's why I always had to rely on my brother to walk with me and why our mom would often wait outside the house to keep an eye on us as we crossed. One day, I noticed one of the cars slow down for us to cross and I forgot to check the other side of the street. As I waved at the driver to thank them for stopping for us and began crossing, my brother suddenly called out to me in a panic. He hadn't crossed with me and it was almost too late when he called out. When I looked the other way, I saw a small truck for Best Buy speeding down the road and right at me. I was parlayed with fear until my brother called out to me again. I think he might have even ran out to grab me and pull me back in time. It all happened so fast that I can't quite remember. He either pulled me back to safety just in time or his voice managed to snap me out of my trance and I was able to move myself out of the way at the last second. I was trembling with fear as my brother did his best to comfort me and help me cross the street safely. Our mom hadn't come out to watch us that day as she was busy with something else. When she saw us when we came home, she noticed how panicked I looked and my brother told her about what happened. My mom freaked out. She wasn't angry with me, but instead extremely worried. Luckily, I wasn't hurt. Just panicked. She knew that I suffered from tunnel vision and that I often became lost in my own head without realizing it, so she didn't angry with me for forgetting to check the other side of the road. Just scared for me. After making sure I was okay, my mom immediately called Best Buy to report what had happened. She was furious that one of their drivers was speeding down a school street so recklessly and had nearly run me over. What made her even more upset was that the truck never slowed down and kept going after nearly hitting me as if nothing had happened and they were on the freeway or something. I had only avoided a major accident because my brother was there to save me. I never found out what happened to the driver, but I'd like to hope that they were fired or removed of their driving duties after my mom reported them. What they did was incredibly dangerous and could have hospitalized me if not straight up killed me. I'd hate to think that they continued driving like that and being paid to drive after pulling a stunt like that. Reckless driving is NOT a joke! After that event, I was terrified of crossing the street and Best Buy itself. I know that it was driver's fault, but the association of that company with the near accident I had just freaked me out too much. Any time we went to Best Buy after that, I was terrified and worried I'd get involved in another accident. I was visibly shaking and struggling to calm my breathing. I'd cling to my parents the entire time and frantically be on the lookout for any danger. We didn't go to the store often, but that was how I was every time we went. I am now able to go to Best Buy without any issue and can even enjoy my time shopping there or just looking at the displays, but it took me a long time to get over that fear. Thankfully, my best friend helped me get over my fear my taking me there more frequently and making it fun by looking at video games and stuff and avoiding anything that might be too dangerous to go near like big ladders to help stock supplies and stuff. She helped me find the fun in facing my fears and made it easier for me. Sadly, I still have other forms of PTSD that I'm still struggling with and do cause me severe limitations. There aren't things that I can find fun in and are honestly very traumatizing and difficult to get over. I sincerely doubt I'll ever be able to get over them. I've made attempts to overcome my trauma, but it seems to only make things worse for me. Luckily, they're things that can be avoided and aren't involved in my everyday life. The best I've been able to do is try to repair some damaged relationships that were greatly effected by one of my traumas. They're still a work-in-progress, but do seem to be improving in baby steps. Trauma is a very difficult thing to get over. It can completely consume you and cause you mental, emotional and even physical pain without the proper support. I highly recommend therapy and, if you can, confiding in those you trust about what it is you're going through. Even if they can't do anything about the actual trauma itself, it can still be very comforting when you have someone who can at least understand how you feel and what your triggers are. At the very least, they can help you slowly recover or avoid triggers so that you can heal at a pace you are comfortable with or give you the push you need when appropriate. I just would recommend that, if you are trying to help someone overcome their PTSD, make sure you check with them about what they are ready for and what is a big "NO!!!" before you try to push them towards a goal. If you're not careful, you might just make it worse for them and they'll shut down even more. I speak from my own personal experience.

But everything changed after the car accident which traumatized Lacie. After the whole walker incident they kinda drifted apart. Bex almost getting hit by a car was a scary scene. Despite Lacie slowly healing from her trauma, she found courage to save her bestie. You can see how Bex even reacted when Lacie saved her from almost getting hit by car. She couldn’t stand the fact of losing her bf. I’m glad Bex apologized and they made amends and approved of Lacie and Walker’s relationship
