  • If there is one thing people that follow you should take away with them is this. This is a couple that appreciate the simple but fine things in life. They travel more than most of us. Have an incredible home that they have saved for and filled with quality pieces. They enjoy cooking and eating things that are well prepared and take the time to enjoy.   • I love a day at home. I stay in my PJs. Get cosy with lamps and candles, oil burner on, soft music. Get my books out do some reading, write cards. Cups of tea and coffee. If I eventually do get bored I bake some scones or do some household chores like ironing or tidying the wardrobe,but it’s always a lovely day.

And that's exactly how I would spend a day in my home: cooking, baking, watching a nice movie, reading a book or a magazine... Oh, and I would definitely listen to some music, and maybe even dance around a little bit. That always lifts me up. 😊

  • I too love days like this, especially in winter. It can be so grey and bleak in January and February. I don't have a fireplace so I put on my Netflix "fire", light some candles (including scented) and grab a good book and mug of hot chocolate. Perfect day!

  • This is one of my very favorite episodes of the K&J adventures! Perfectly delightful... all of it. Seems especially fitting somehow that you made Jane Austin inspired recipes. I enjoyed that. You certainly have a warm and lovely, cozy home!

  • Wow. It is so good to catch up with you to see how your home looks after all of the work you have done. It is so pretty and restful. The fireplace is very nice. Homeownership is expensive and it makes sense to enjoy it as much as possible.

  • Lovely video as always…your home is cozy & decorated so well…personally,I always like to set a table with nice crockery,tablecloths,glassware etc.as it makes a meal much more pleasant & enjoyable,I also enjoy the same magazines on home decor,furnishings etc.

  • I love getting cozy at home whether I'm doing chores or in my pjs snuggled under a blanket watching tv, reading or watching your videos. We've been watching "Why women kill". Its not a horrow show. Its like a soap opera and quite comical. There are two seasons so far. I love your dress. Wow! Those church bells are amazing.
