My kids were very different as well. My daughter... Crawled at 3.5 months. Big baby to begin with. Her brother, didn't move until 10 months... Baby boy, he did it at 6 months. But.. life the video said, every child is different. So nobody should be judging or putting their baby in a bubble. He/She will move when they are ready. But do give them time to try..
My 5 month old loves rolling from back to tummy, but seems to have no desire to roll from tummy to back lol. She is starting to lift her bottom into the air, and she is getting better at pushing up and extending her arms. It’s so wonderful to watch her achieve these milestones. I swear, last week she was flopping over when I’d sit her up, and now she can stay in a sitting-up position with little support. ❤
This is soooooo helpful, buddy! Each stage is critical as you point out. Many thanks!
omg my baby girl is actually transitioning from the army crawl. This video is so accurate! I swear it's like looking at her. She did the plank all day!! My boy preferred rocking back and forth. They were so different :) Thank you! I enjoyed it a lot!!
my daughter jus crawled today for the first time n she went thru every stage u mentioned. felt like i was watching my own child in your video. the plank was a stage i didnt know existed but i seen my daughter do it and thought it was a one off.
My child 6th month now and I'm searching like this video, thank you bro🙏
You guys documented baby development so well!!
My son hated tummy time so I rarely did it. He’s 5 months now, rolling both ways, sits unassisted for a few minutes and almost crawling. Your baby can and will develop without tons of tummy time!
Mine too, he did very little tummy Time One day he just started rolling and crolling
Same here!
Same! Mine would cry at every tummy time session so I just stopped and figured well it would be nice if she could crawl a little later at least I won't be chasing her around yet... She learned crawling at 6 months, and I didn't get the rest I needed
Mine as well
I have to agree with you on tummy time. Tummy time is important, yes, but the child develops everyday so does not necessarily need tummy time from day one. However, the earlier they start, logically, the quicker they get used to it. . You just have to keep encouraging them along in their developmental stages.
My girl was rocking back and forth when she was 4.5 months and she is now crawling and she is 6.5 months now❤️
Isn't that a blessing :D thank God for giving us these adorable childs
Such a cute baby 😘 God bless him. Thanks for the video. Very useful.
Daughter was in the NICU the first two months of her life so at 9 months she started consistently rolling over and pushing up straight with arms. Practicing on crawling now with her.
Crwl strt kr di ap k baby ny
My baby was in the NICU first two months as well and HATED tummy time.. They are 8 and a half months now and not crawling yet.. Still working on it
@@rae7864 Daughter is 15 months now. She started crawling the week she turned one. She’s now practicing walking and holding unto the couch or coffee table. Not yet standing on her own. Slowly but surely we’re getting there.
@@janjans77 my baby was a preterm at 33 weeks and was in the NICU. He just turned five months. Does that just mean his milestones will be later?
Fellow NICU parents here. My son was born a month early due to emergency c section. He was in the NICU for almost a month. He always hated tummy time so we didn’t do it constantly.. especially with two months of colic. He’s almost 8 months, he can’t crawl yet, but he can sit up and is starting to stand with help, and has taken a couple steps! He can only roll from back to tummy, but still has trouble going from tummy to back. He also just got his bottom teeth!
My eldest daughter hated tummy time - so much so she learnt to sit up really early just to get off her tummy 😄 She learnt to crawl fully by 9 months starting from the sitting position. My youngest daughter loves tummy time and is progressing through all the crawling milestones by the book 🤷♀️
BROOOOOOOOOoooo! great video thanks. That was so much more informative then any other video that i've seen on the internet. I searched, and searched but this one his the sweet spot!
I enjoyed this video so much! Thank you...
Just adorable watching how you were able to video all of these motions and share the same with us. God bless you all.
This video is the whole package
That smile is everything🥰
This is so great! Exactly the trajectory my 9 month old has taken. Full on crawling now! Man I miss the stationary days!
Hah... It's a whole different ballgame now!

sooo cute and helpful - thank you!
Thank u! I've been looking for smth like that)
Thank you for this video, it was exactly what I needed.
My eldest hated tummy time when she was a baby and went straight to sitting then standing and walking. I think every baby is different.
My Baby is 7 months old she is Not interested in rolling at all ..nd Not crawling but sits with assistance
Such a great video! You are so right, babies are very different! My little one is 5 months, she doesn't sits, but she army crawls, planks, gets up on knees and arms and rocks 😅 looking forward for the sitting milestone!
My son he is sitting right after all the activities you mentioned above
This was so helpful, thank you!!!!
Brilliant video. Thank you!

So well explained, thank you so much! And your baby boy is so cute 😍
Thank you so much for this video 🙏🏽
I love this video so much! Thank you for creating it!!!
And your son is adorable! He reminds me of mine a bit
Thank you for this video, so helpful to learn about the journey of crawling.
I wish I found this video months ago. My baby daughter is 6 months old, but we are a little bit behind on these skills. I’ve been working more on tummy time, and she can roll from belly to back (she can almost roll from back to belly, but is stopped by her arm). She can sit when in her high chair and her rocking chair, but not when entirely unsupported. Her head balance is good, and we spend a lot of time holding her up, so that part is good. She also wants to walk when we hold her in a standing position, moving her legs forward to make steps. Obviously, she is not on her full weight, as her muscles aren’t strong enough, but you can see that she wants to get around and explore everything. Hopefully, I’m not too far behind and she can reach these milestones soon. I’ll be using this video as reference. Thanks for putting it together!
how does it go so far Daniel?
My little girl in her 6months also is lacking behind a little bit and my main concern is her neck balance not suitable yet, her head still moves front and back I don't know what else to do
My baby is 7months with hydrocephalus ,still training him to roll and sitting...tummy times are being so helpful with his neck nd the back
My baby too.but how to train
Just what I was looking for thank you
Good job, there is an excitement that comes when watching the videos and relating what our kids growing into
My girl is 5 months and has been army crawling for weeks, she started planking yesterday!
Your boy is gorgeous!!! And your video was very helpful, info said in a simple and clear manner and explaind with your s child experience. Love it!!!!!!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
What an excellent video. Thank you. :) He is so adorable. What a blessing.
Thanks for this, your baby is adorable!
It's called "creeping" when on hands and knees(according to Gesell's original longitudinal research).! Tummy crawling is an important ability made possible by inhibition of the asymmetrical tonic neck reflex. Children and adults unable to tummy crawl lack maturation of the ATNR, but therapeutic maturation/inhibition can result in passing standards for fire fighter or military combat mobility is possible.. Tummy crawling with a strong leg extension can be helped by giving resistance to infant leg thrusting from early infancy--just resist the thrust a tiny bit to build strength and when the tummy crawl brain network is ready the child will take off automatically (so prepare the environment for all that exploration).
Wow man. Thank you SO MUCH
Very good video, thank you!
This is such an awesome video!!
Wicked video thank you!!!
Excellent video!
Such a brilliant video! Thank you! 🙏😊🙏

What a beautiful video 😍
Very useful info! Please keep sharing 😊
Thank you! Will do!
Aw felt so proud of him as he was my son! Adorable! Thanks for this video! Very informative and hopefully my son will be crawling soon too! He seems to be entering stage 6 now!
That army crawl is essential for a well organized brain AND the build up of lung strength and health. So glad you didn’t skip it
I love how real and honest this video is! I love seeing him explore a home and environment that feels similar to my own. Thank you!
Super video, thanks a lot ❤
Omg so cute....loved the vid❤
He is so adorable 🥰🥰🥰🥰💯
This helped a lot my baby was right where she needed to be after army crawling for a few weeks she’s now on her hands and knees crawling lol and pulling herself up now on furniture
Good job Xander👍🏾
So, my baby army crawled before sitting up. He is now able to sit up at 5 months and balance on his hands in front of him. But he army crawled at 15 weeks. We think he'll sit up unassisted soon as every few days he gets more and more into sitting up. He puts himself into tummy time from the sitting position and all other positions like lying down etc. I say this so other parents can see a different order on the way to proper crawling
Xander is different, he's a professional baby. Lol ☺️
Great video, amazing job, thank you! Hope to see more! Your son is a star! God bless you from Croatia

Thank you so much for this! I know what to look for for my little one.
So fascinating! Both of my littles have army crawled and planked around long before getting into a sitting position. First little only tolerated short tummy time, but was a preemie and slept only on his tummy. Second baby from the beginning has preferred tummy time and has always rolled onto her side to sleep from the first weeks.
Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed this thanks so much great advice 😀
My son is 5 months old. He's started planking amd even scooting backwards but he still can't roll front to back. Back to front is no problem. He's been pivoting for a couple months now to get to his toys. He's been sitting up unsupported since early 4 months but needed help getting into the sitting position. It's funny how he's learning in such a strange order. But he's learning fast too. He loves tummy time and will spent upwards of 2 hours doing tummy time a day.
Update because this changed quick. Still 5 months. Now crawling. God help us because he's now trying to figure out cruising and our baby gates haven't even gotten here yet 🤦♀️.
What a silly boy ❤❤❤ loved this video
Very thorough explanation! Thank you!
Loved this video.
Thank you.
Great tips sharing ✨
This encouraged my 7 month to start crawling bc I showed it to him and I feel like he learned from it
This video is amazing!!
My son has that baby gym too still loves playing with it 😊
Both our kids have loved it! And we only walk around the house singing the songs MOST of the time :)
Well done!
Love this video 💓💓
My seven month old went from rolling over both ways to sitting up independently (if sat in a sitting position) to rocking/planking and army crawling to get to stuff. Hasn't quite done the sitting up on his own.
my 7 mth old has the moving her legs part down. she progressed to stiffening her arms. but she wont move her arms to help move her legs forward, poor munchkin. she must be like but im putting in the work tho! i dont get it. then gets frustrated, always looking back at me like i dont like this game, mommy! not really seeing immediate results here! she started on a goo goo phase today. & me trying to entertain her baby babble was like tiny person done turned on google mic, lol. oh wait, nevermind that was prob me. she really has that contagious vibe ...idk when kids stop pointlessly screaming but my kid will start off the chain anywhere. her breaking glass sound pitches will start and sure enough, some kid in the background, maybe up to early teens at most & - : . ahhh
This is a great video.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful and informative video!
I’m just seeing that your son has the same toy my baby girl does 💜 and learning .
Lovely baby 🥰and wonderful info👍
Thank you 🤗
Why don't you have more subs? This is such a high quality video!
Good question :) thank you!
Not uploading enough!
So cute!
Awesome video!
Such a great video - thank you! I don’t suppose you remember what baby gate you had? 🙏I’m looking for one like that to give baby ample room.
Such a cute baby!
My little fella is 9 months and not crawling but the steps I've noticed after the initial rolling phase so far are: 1. On tummy, being able to prop himself up on hands and rotate on the spot. 2. While on Tummy, thrashing arms and legs like he's a beetle in the water 3. While on Tummy, Pushing himself backwards on slippery surfaces, or into a sitting position. 4. On hands and knees, rocking back and forward or doing hip thrusts 5. Transferring to a kneeling position and doing little lunges and flailing his arms or clapping. So far no planking or army crawling. Maybe he'll skip those steps, or do them in a quick phase. Or maybe it'll still take a while! He seems to be loving it though and I love seeing each new thing he learns which he couldn't do the day before.
My kiddo is the same age and doing exactly what you’ve described
So when did your baby actually started proper crawling and standing plus walking??
@@ashMMJ He started crawling at around 10 months, then walking at 16 months.
@@fongdimbulator ohh I feel my baby is in the same boat.. as she isn’t crawling yet.. she’s 9 months
@@ashMMJ She must be getting close by now! 11 months old?
interestingly enough, my son had enough neck strength to hold his head up almost indefinitely 7 hours after being born (video proof). At 4.5 months now, he just sits around with head held high like a full-on human. He doesn't crawl yet, but can almost pretty much stand on his own already with just 10% extra support.
My daughter was on my chest and lifted her head in her own just a few hours after birth. Both my kids have been very strong from the beginning, and are very motivated to move early on. It makes for very frustrated babies until they are independent, but they do things early.
@@ngerstner753 i agree. My boy has always been frustrated knowing what he wants to do but not able yet
This ‘s very informative. Big Ta.
My Baby is 7 months old and can‘t sit at all. It grew so fast, i think the muscles aren‘t ready yet 😄
This is such a fantastic well-put-together video! Thank you my baby is at the push-up / plank stage, going to use your tips hopefully he'll be Crawling by Christmas LOL
Great video! However, you may need to modify the terminology. The first stage of the baby's movement is CRAWLING where the baby moves on the belly (CRAWLING) with support from the arms and by kicking either with the knees or feet (This is what you referred to in Stage 6 of your video as "Army crawl"). Where the baby moves on all fours (belly off the floor/ground) is termed CREEPING.
Thanks from a Grandmother from Texas!
Thank you
Omg he’s so cute!!!
My daughter is 3.5 months and rolls both ways. Can’t wait to see when she’ll start sitting unassisted and other milestones!
My daughter is 4 months and started sitting all ready but she hasn't rolled sides ever yet. So excited to see she is crawling.
I love dis vedio it is of much help thank u an ur baby is so sweet 😍😍😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩
