  • Holmes has built this team and we still have 26mil in cap space and 98mil next year

  • We as Lions fans need to calm down. We are going into year 4 of a complete tear down and rebuild and we were a half away from a Super Bowl last year. The Lions management knows what they are doing. That's something I never thought I could say with a straight face. Let Brad keep doing what he's doing and he will get us what we've all been dying for

  • It’s nice to see a staff that finally stopped wasting so many resources up front. Todays nfl moves so fast it’s well beyond what you do on pass rushing downs. I’ve seen nothing to tell me Hutchinson and Houston aren’t a fine combo for any rush you want from the left side. Whether it’s Hutchinson at DE and Houston standing up as a LB or Hutchinson moved inside to DT and Houston manning the edge. That’s adequate. What wasn’t adequate is 2-3 defensive backs who couldn’t cover. Holmes very clearly addressed this. The Lions have so loaded their secondary, next year you can consider an accessory rusher at RDE who splits time with paschal or a DT who maybe replaces Reader. You’re not kicking the can on DBs the way so many other staff groups have. You’re now deciding where you want your strength, if it’s on D, that is. This is how good teams do it.

  • The Lions are always 'All In', but always in their own way. They stick to the master plan: To build this roster with the philosophy that so quickly took them to the brink of the Super Bowl. . No panic, no change of direction. Just more of the same - and in the case of the Detroit Lions, 'more of the same' appears to be working to perfection.

  • The Lions got all the pieces, they just need to stay healthy especially on the offensive line.

    • It started with Sheilah taking the reins. She was tired of being embarassed. She began at the bottom level. Then came Holmes and Campbell.

  • people laughed when brad said he was a DB snob. than he trades for 1 signs another and drafts 2 of the top 8 CBs which 1 is either 1 or 2 on most boards. next season i dont wanna hear anyone say we need this we need that and why is brad not signing big names. cause this offseason everyone wanted a big name splash, now everyone is saying how smart brad is when they were bitching on 1st and 2nd day of free agency.

  • Blah blah blah This team is better than it’s been in 20+ years. Say what you want Criticize what you want Cry about whatever you want FACTS Every draft under this regime has hit Every core piece is returning Proved in the playoffs that they’re not a regular season team What do you want? What could they do on the field to prove they deserve our belief? Detroit vs everybody (Including Detroit media)

    • Our Brad Holmes is a football front office genius. Extraordinarily consistent top notch success from his decision making proves it. And other NFL GM's are noticing his very impressive expertise. And they're publicly, though very anonymously, showing their jealousy of it.

  • Ragnow isn't getting old lol

    @jaybrick8973@jaybrick897317 күн бұрын
    • I think he misspoke for the sake of brevity given Ragnow’s inoperable toe and playing through pain every single down moving forward and the fact that he has tossed around the idea of retirement already.

      @brandonbaty2291@brandonbaty229117 күн бұрын
  • Why do people talk like Ragnow is 35 and on his last leg? He's going to be 28 years old when the season starts and has been in the league only 6 years.

    • He has taken a beating to be honest... so for real I'm not sure how long he can keep playing. I really kinda do feel bad for some of these guys who end up mangled for the rest of their lives. I know they're earning millions but I ask myself would I really be willing to trade my body for money? I dunno ... they obviously love the game though and hate to retire early but sometimes you just cant go on anymore no matter what your age.

      @uTubeNoITube@uTubeNoITube17 күн бұрын
    • Its because of his toe

      @martellcollins6930@martellcollins693017 күн бұрын
    • He COULD keep pushing through massive pain due to his now inoperable toe issue but it seems like a matter of time before he doesn’t want to be in constant agony and he has mentioned retiring soon. Who knows what the reality of that is but it certainly seems like the front office is planning ahead.

    • The lowest we look to aim to get from all of this smart business is being the Buffalo bills which is still good. In the 90s they never won a super bowl but they sure were in contention for about 6 to 7 years and that's way better than what we've done the last 50

      @AlMoton@AlMoton16 күн бұрын
    • @@AlMotonhonestly after we win 1 super bowl, i could care less about racking up super bowls. Ive always thought being the early 90s bills is a hell of an accomplishment. Id rather never win a super bowl and have 10 straight years w a winning record and challenging for a super bowl than winning 1 super bowl and being all over the place year to year.

    • They were a way better built team in LA compared to the bills. They added a couple of big name players in LA and not to mention the stafford Goff trade. So what’s your point?

      @justinjohnson3327@justinjohnson332717 күн бұрын
    • I think what they’re saying is it’s common for teams that find new success to panic and just sign bug name players. Teams who are more than 1 player away acting like they are 1 player away. When you sign a single player hoping that it’s enough to get you over the hump you’re putting all your eggs in one basket. The lions are taking a different approach by just continuing to make smart value signings and drafting strong draft classes.
