Struff has a big time game. He stays aggressive and never gives up! He has it all and look forward to seeing him break thru.
Love Struffy's game but would like to see some droppers here and there. Hijikata was playing so far back on a lot of those points.

Rinky’s a great player! Im amazed he lasted as long as he did - as a general rule the shorter players will eventually always struggle and be ground down by the taller players
Yet another 5 set R1 match. Thrilling, yes, but come on the courts are too slow. The crowd was so insane, I had to root for Strife. The guy deserved to reach R2 after NINE attempts. Hijicaca only knows how to be amazing when redlining. Once those "purple patches" fade & the Dragon Ball Z adrenaline rush dissipates, he returns to beatable jock Challenger circuit player. He always uses too much energy to not get the job done. Find a way to win without home court advantage. The Aussies talk a big game only to repeatedly get beaten by better players. If Roanoke's hip had held up, Demon would've lost that match & everyone knew it after the first set.

As much as I hate to see Rinky loses the match, your observation about his approach to the match is spot on! He needs to learn to play within himself and not expend so much energy with all the come ons and fist pumps. The Australian crowd can be a bit biased and I kind of felt sorry for Struff last night, but credit to him for remaining very composed and getting over the line.
