  • It's funny how dating culture varies. To an American and likely many other Western culures the whole perilla leaf thing sounds insecure and petty unless your boyfriend is clearly flirting with your friend or vice versa, but that is likely because our dating culture and our social culture is so different. Many of our customs likely seem shocking or crazy to much more conservative Koreans when it comes to dating. It's why dating outside of one's culture is always a challenge that requires understanding and patience.

    @kentvesser9484@kentvesser9484 Жыл бұрын
    • i dont think it has anything to do with conservativeness ... you have to take in consideration the culture and tradition. perilla leaf is a part of a traditional and cultural custom/dish of south korea. it most likely has an intimate meaning. what elderly would do to the younglings of the family and what loved ones would do to each other... thats why specifically the perilla leaf sparked an interesting conversation in south korea in comparison to other issues of your significant other having the opposite sex as friends etc.

As well as the opposite of that enfj/entj are more outgoing in the way they present themselves. Also Mbti is bs. Since a personality is not bound by a letter. There a times where I have gotten enjf twice just because my mood was different that day I took the test. Really there is really no way of knowing your personality since it is constantly changing. And don’t play like you’d be chill with your boyfriend cutting a whole ass steak for another woman right in front of you while you’re sitting there like 🧍🏻‍♀️that isn’t gentlemanly behavior at all. It’s a reach. I think you should take a step back, acknowledge your perspective is ethnocentric, and because there’s almost always something lost in translation + sloppy amateur translations, and because of ifans’ general lack of understanding regarding Korean culture and history, and refusal to even learn or be receptive, your reactions are almost always this haughty, teetering razor close to xenophobia. • How did you know if her accent is from New York? This is not an accent from New york. Her English is good but it's a typical accent who knows to speak in English.

    • Yunjin speaks general american - it's the accent most americans speak - if Yunjin doesn't tell them where she is from - americans couldn't tell - we have read that Yunjin was from New York - otherwise we wouldn't know
