    • @@Forever_Young0212 the Bible does talk about forgiveness, however, to be honest, I don't think he was saying that particular line was directly from the Bible. I believe he was saying that you can forgive people because your supposed to for God but still hold on to grudges. Forgive people for yourself because a lot of times it's hard to let animosity go. This is something that I struggle with and since I've heard his message I've been getting a lot better at forgiving people for God. It has to start with the individual. I hope this helps. If it does great 😃. If not I hope you find what you're searching for.

  • One of my favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5 7 Trust in the Lord with ALL of your HEART ❤️, and lean not unto your own understanding. 6 but in all thy ways acknowledge HIM and HE shall direct thy path. 7 be not wise in your own eyes (the FLESH) fear the LORD and depart from evil. 👿👹 I was having problems to live this out cuz I was in the flesh. This is where I learned it's NOT 🚫 about people making free will choices in the flesh, but through the Holy Spirit 👻 IN me. THAT WAY GOD GETS ALL THE GLORY ✝️❤️🙏😎

  • I'm absolutely overwhelmed. That Sermon exposed my entire life with my dad and beyond. I'm now 63 and struggled with forgiveness and moving on all my adult life. In essence, I became my dad. That man was everything Joel talked about regarding that man's dad who rejected him since childhood. I did the same: Lived to please my dad while he insulted me. He died in 2014. He refused to see me in his last moments. When I attended his funeral, just before they shoved his casket into his crypt, I shouted, "STOP!" The workers were in shock as were those in attendance. I calmly knelt at the foot of his casket, sobbing quietly, and said, "I love you dad. I forgive you". Kissed his casket and placed my big hand on it as I stood back up. That was THE HARDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I am sobbing like a river right now, confessing this publicly. I found Jesus all over again recently, and made a committed vow to be devoted to God. It's hard, I know it is. But I let God guide my thoughts and actions. I'm a work in progress. I'm not destitute or on the streets. Just the contrary...I may have more than some, but I became sick and tired living an empty life holding onto bitterness and defeat. I feel like I'm on a journey. I let God be the Master of my ship. Amen. And may God bless you in abundance Joel Osteen as well as your congregation.❤

  • He's the only man that has a profound effect via video, 20 years ago I had an accident, and watched him until I went paralyzed and couldn't use my hands...I miraculously had a trauma room surgeon do me quite the favor. 3 weeks after the last time I was able to watch Joel ( on T.V.), I was in the operating room in 3 days. Thank you Joel, thank God. That was a miracle! God used Joel to keep me hanging on until I could not, I was near death. ❤ Joel Olsteen.

    • I’ve lost 7 1/2 years trying to deal with the pain of betrayal. What has helped me recently is to believe what Joel says about God restoring everything. Preparing a table for you in front of those enemies as a reward from Him for obedience in forgiving them. I’ve had to forgive thousands of times, whenever the memories come, every day. So... make yourself happy imaginating what you want God to do to make things right and then pray and believe. Surely that would make you happy.🗝🌹🗝

  • Amen, pastor Osteen. You are bringing me out of a real dark time in my life. My husband of 17 years abandoned me and my 18 year old daughter. I got stuck with everything, and now he has a child on the way. But I do as it says in the bible, and you Sermons to hand it all to our lord. I do not venge or do anything not of gods will. I do not even go to his apartment or bother him gor anything. If not for god don't know how I would make it I barely make $16 hr.

    • I do pray for him every day. It's been 10 months we are not who to judge or take revenge on anyone. Sometimes, I don't even have the means to pay all my bills, but With the $16 an hour, it stretches so far. My god, get the first of my earnings, and then everything else falls into place. We are blesed that nothing is missing even though we are wished badly. I pray for all. Amen to god

    • You are not alone. I have 4 children with a man who abandoned us months ago. I've had to deal with the change day by day, nothing could speed the healing. Although I hurt for my children I have to trust God more than my own understanding. I pray for you and your child for continued healing and strength. I'm so thankful for Spring on the way, feels like a rebirth. 🙏🏼

    • 1:49 I just read your comment if your still upset with your brother it's not worth it. What I'm trying to say is let it go. Just think about it, life is to short to be upset about anything just talk to your brother of what he did to you if you haven't already. So things will get better. That's what I do with my brother. My brother and I are very close. So when he hurts me or mis treats me I tell him how I'm feeling because he's all I have in this world besides my son's. My mother just passed so it's just us two. Your Family don't let petty get in the way if your relationship. Just saying. It's not worth it.

  • I have struggled with the guilt of losing my children due drug abuse for decades. I'm now free of the addiction and I have entered the ministry. In this area, I'm still waiting on God, but it hurts! This ministry has removed so much excess baggage from my heart! I am eternally GRATEFUL!

  • ❤❤❤ Many things going on me and my family's lives and idk what else to do anymore. Our peace, our relationship with each other, our health, our safety and our finances - which happens to be what cause all the other problems to exist. Idk anymore, i cant sleep for more than 2 hours because my problems haunt me in my sleep and there are times i havent even been able to eat just to make sure my family has something to eat. GOD said to ask and knock, people said that its ok to seek help when you cant carry it anymore, but when I do it, people throw rocks at me as if Ive done something unforgivable. Idk which way ill go anymore. 😢 Im so tired. Ive been praying, pleading, seeking, knocking and begging for years! But why does it feel like I am not heard? Please, pray for us, maybe your prayers for us can be heard by GOD. Help me out here. 🙏 I feel stuck and I want and need to get out of this bottomless pit. Please.

  • "Letting Go" is not always an easy thing to do, but I pray to God every day to clarify that I'm in a current toxic situation. I need his help making a decision for a positive change. I hope that the sign will come soon and put in a better safer place.

    • For sure , i too i love pastor Joel OSten , he preaches word of God as per his call and he expresses the gift of love which is the greatest of all and God himself is love. So he is my mentor as well, mhimself being an evangelist, i love him and i always listen to his surmons , they are powerful , examples are unexpected sunshine , Your word become your reality, and so many others. My prayer still is to meet Joel Osteen in person some day i hope.
