Also just to correct you. 4 years of software updates. This phone came out last year so you'll be getting 3 more years of software updates.
I've noticed a drastic improvements in performance since the recent software updates. It doesn't lag anymore the way it used to.
That's the complete opposite for me! 😂 This phone is done! (for me) Or do I just have bad luck with phones?
@apianostile7803 it'll improve with more updates . Give it time. It'll get better
@@apianostile7803well I do a hard reset after major software updates so maybe that's why mine doesn't lag. After the Android 14 update I did a hard reset.

I did a hard reset after the Android 14 update and transferred all of my apps and settings from my old A52 to my A54 using Smart Switch so I wouldn't have to manually download everything again and change the settings. I think doing a hard reset after major software updates is key to a mid-range phone's longevity. Even my A52 works pretty well right now and I could easily still use that as my daily driver without a problem.

What do you have against A phones?
Probably because the specs aren't as great as other phones that you can get for the same price, but there's more to a phone than having good specs. Samsung's software is the best on the market in my opinion and they have an SD card slot which most phones don't have nowadays.
@@afanasibushmanov7463 He thinks that used phones is the answer to every problem, but some people including me Don't like used phones. The battery life is usually bad, and it's probably not as good as it was first used, and other reasons.
I think that the A54 could still be worth it, however the base model of the S21 Ultra you could buy at around the same price and that phone will still be giving you more features for a flagship. Like the A54, the S21 isn't going anywhere for the time being, they are also on Android 14 and will be getting Android 15 around the end of this year.

i've been using an a50 for almost 5 years, the phone still works fine, but the battery is starting to get unusable and the charging port doesn't work well every time, ordered yesterday a new a54 for 289€, hope i wont be disappointed

I can see why you probably wouldn't recommend it. In the beginning around December, the time I got it, it worked very well and it was fast. It also had amazing battery life. As I'm getting updates, it is making the phone very, very, very slow. I can barely use it and it literally is so slow that I can't handle it anymore. I'm getting a job and hopefully getting an S23+. The battery life is absolutely terrible now. I am never updating this phone again. Otherwise, It would be unusable. Everything is 10x worse than what it was back then.
I can't stand the bezels on these phones, humongous.
