When I think of ditzy blonde and bimbo I think of Lindsey from Total Drama, Clover from Totally Spies, Caitlyn Cook from 6teen, Kelso from That 70's Show, Jackie from That 70's Show, and Laurie Forman from That 70's Show, Shizuka Marikawa from Highschool Of The Dead, and Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon Orihime just doesn't come off the same way they do Orihime Inoue gives off the same impression as Ochako Uraraka from MHA, Nijere Hado from MHA, Eru Chitanda from Hyouka, Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket, and Nagisa Furukawa from Clannad.

What do I think? I think Tsukishima's Book of the End is OP af! Always have been, and always will be. That can literally undo... pretty much both Aizen's and Juha Bach's powers. Complete Hypnosis, Book of the End. All-Seeing Eye, Book of the End. Granted, both Aizen and Juha are still crazy powerful, but ability wise, holy damn, Book. Of. The. End. lol
@@rainnseras6562 it's her personality or.. PERSONA!! because when she isn't ditzy or is worried or serious, she puts on a completely different face. Remember in Season 1, when Ichigo would interact with Orihime, he would act stupid just like her, it feels more like a persona that people put on for those individual out of friendship/closeness. Though I would by lying if I'd say I didn't like her ditzy side, it's the one reason why I actually like her character (and even through the Arrancar arc), because deep down, she's always serious and always trying to do things that normally, a character of her trope can't or sidelined to do. She ACTS like a trope ditzy character, but behind that facade, she's actually pretty confident and courageous, like her battle with Ichigo vs Juha Bach, she is pretty damn good man, and like Tsukishima, her Shun Shun Rikka's ability is op af!!! xD
I love how Kubo was able to bring back characters from all races, and make Yhwach the common enemy of all.
Yeah we could’ve had French included aswell as he said he wanted to involve French into bleach but couldn’t since it was cut short. I would’ve liked to have seen that tho

I always thought French was going to be the language used for the Royal Palace! But keeping them Japanese obviously makes sense.
The Fullbringers deserve more than what they got in the Final Arc and that goes for most of the characters outside of the Fullbringers as well, let's be honest.
It would've been cool that the fullbringers had the potential to be a threat power-wise like the Quincy from the past and the rest of races with the difference that they were even fewer in number, actually rare among humans and that they never formed any group, army or organization until the present day (much like the hollow until Aizen arrived). That way, in another universe, Chad could've been a considerable asset to the group and in the final battle against the quincy.
well at lest they got major role later at canon novel CFYOW. Unlike vizards who's brought there just for kinda like cameo. The most active vizards were 2 captains and even them were get f*cke by the sternritters

With the nature of Time Tells No Lies, Giriko likely could have set a timer on Tensa Zangetsu to repair it and even another timer to make it unbreakable

I was never a fan of characters losing their powers, telling the viewers that it can't be regenerated, and then in the next arc find out It was a lie, but I appreciate the struggle ichigo had to go throw to get his powers back and in this case, Kubo did well
TBH, only Uryu had that happen. At the end of the Arrancar War Saga, Yamamoto tasks Urahara with finding a way to restore Ichigo's powers, so I think it was meant to tell the audience that Ichigo was down but not out. The only time it was so much as implied that Ichigo's loss was permanent was the nickname of that form: Final Getsuga Tenshou.
@@corruptangel6793 no no, his father and ichigo talked about it, his Father mentioned that only way to take down IZEN involve losing your powers, this was mentioned along with that it was implyed aswell by ichigo, plus thay talk with the BIG BRAIN Guy happened after it was confermed for sure that ichigo lost his powers
@@LeoArmada Ichigo and his dad never talk about it costing him his power. Isshin just says there's an ability called "final Getsuga Tenshou" and that it's their only hope. Zangetsu is the only one to outright say "if you use this then you'll lose your Soul Reaper powers" or something along those lines. Urahara, when Ichigo regains consciousness after his battle Aizen, says how the last remnants of Ichigo's spiritual energy are fading but that it will take time to lose that last piece and noone knows when that will be. Could be seconds, could be years.

That only happened with Uryu in the soul society arc. He supposedly gets a big power up at the cost of losing his powers permanently but then Kubo goes nevermindlol in the very next arc
Ginjo having a similar power to Yhwach and the SK was clearly supposed to play a greater role, I'm glad Kubo elaborated on it in CFYOW, it was one of the plot threads that I really wanted to see picked up on.
We need more Chad and Orihime !

It's interesting that Riruka has gone full protective wolfess for Orihime in the postwar Bleach-verse. It's a bit disappointing that the Fullbringers weren't really involved in the war to a greater degree, but at least they got the limelight in the novels. Even if one wanted to start a war with humanity. Yukio's attitude is in way a representation of the layman, as absurd as that may sound.
Yeah it's really awesome seeing them again in CFYOW.
I want to take a moment to say something personal outside of the content of the video itself. You may have seen me comment in other videos and this time, before even starting the video, I wanted to express my gratitude for making videos about Bleach. Seeing your videos reconnected me with what I love about the series as a whole: it's flawed, it can be somewhat corny and have cringe humor at times, but it can also be incredibly dark, intense, and so raw in its emotions that it really makes you feel for what is happening, for the characters and for the plot, even if you need to suspend disbelief. And I love it: I adore its aesthetic, its emotions, its battles and crazy powers, and even the more disappointing aspects of the series can not make me love it any less. And for a long time, I was looked down upon my anime watching friends for being a Bleach fan, and honestly, it got to the point where I convinced myself that Bleach was just a part of my adolescence that held no more meaning than being the show I loved back then. But it's more than that: Bleach's narrative about grief and growing stronger by learning to accept your own emotions got me. It empowered me, it made me grow, and it's always going to be meaningful to me. It always was, I just decided to stop believing it because it was more convinient to tell my friends I was no longer a Bleach fan, it was easier for me to believe it. But through your videos I truly reconnected with what I love about Bleach: from the expressiveness of the art and the aesthetic, to the raw powerful emotions from each arc, to the amazingly cool designs and characters, alongside the themes of hope and despair, it's just so much good that overpowers the flaws and the disappointing. And I couldn't have come to accept it had I not reconnected with Bleach through the videos that you make. So thank you: I think we often try to look away from the things we loved as children and adolescence as we grow older and we try to excuse ourselves and trick us into believing they hold no value anymore, but they do. Even in that fleeting enjoyment, they held value, and more so, in the impact it had on our lives, and Bleach will forever be the show that empowered me, and watching and reading it again gave me power to withstand this pandemic. So, once again, thank you for reconnecting me with it. And keep making these videos. I will keep watching them.

I remeber back in the fullbringer arc when at the end of a chapter , we see a younger ginjo as a soul reaper with a kid tsukishima, it appeared that we were gonna get a flashback arc , but the next chapter that didn't happen , it feels like a chapter was skipped , I honestly think the editors forced kubo to skip the flashback part cause a bunch of fans did not like or did not care for the fullbringers. The editors interference might have affected kubo passion, but I still believe kubo should have gotten himself a writing partner .
Kubo needs no help, afterall he wrote the phenomenal Soul Society arc all by himself!!! He just needs time and rest

@@bqw2094 That's exactly why I said all Kubo needed was some time and rest, as every artist needs that to replenish his creativity. You ever noticed how Oda takes one week (or two) off every month? Or how Togashi takes years of rest just to come back and write a couple of chapters? Kubo didn't (or couldn't) go this route, that's why his storytelling went downhill.
@@bqw2094 A good writer *cannot* turn into a bad writer, but a good writer *can* become exhausted because he's a human being after all. So Kubo was tired after the Soul Society arc, he didn't "become a bad writer"

I'm from the future, I haven't read the manga but I was shocked when I saw the fullbringers in the anime
I would've loved to see Ginjo have yukio help him train ichigo in a pocket dimension that accelerates time by like 500 and ichigo comes out as a Vasto Lorde Mugetsu version of himself where he's just permanently fused with his bankai and can fire Gran Rey Getsuga Cero's with every sword swing and learns how to incorporate Quincy techniques into his combat and defensive kidou. And Ginjo's zanpakutoe is finally revealed along with his Bankai and his power is to like siphon off opponents energy somehow like every second he's able to absorb so much or everytime he clashes swords or cuts his opponent he gets stronger as they get weaker.
the problem is the ywach is so op it can't be defeated by 'normal' power ups, it went out of control with power scaling

That would just be a copy of how Ichigo defeated Aizen. I much more prefer his team up with Aizen, the fact that Ichigo never having seen Kyoka Suigetsu actually comes into play and is the whole reason he is able to land the final blow on Yhwach.
@@waltermalone216 Not particularly, sure it'd be Similar but there's lots of new techniques he could potentially make as a hybrid. The projected blut vein technique that creates a barrier could be utilized to fire off a "Blut Cero" For example.
I'm hoping with the anime coming back Kubo adds a lot of content in the TYBW as he wanted to. With Ginjo I'm hoping we could get a slight tease of how it would connect with the CFYOW and everything that's going to happen next. Loved your video and I agree with everything you've said.

What if Ginjo was made a substitute soul reaper for the soul purpose of protecting the former captain Isshen who doesn’t have access to his soul reaper abilities?
I honestly used to believe that Isshin gave his powers to Ginjo which was why he lost them - but we know that isn't the case anymore!
I would have liked to see Ginjo and the others fight in background scenes as well as this master plan. I think Ginjo helping Ichigo at least help by holding off a mass of lesser fighters along with Tsukishima, Isshin and Ryokan (Their wives were both killed by Yhwach both directly and indirectly) would have been very cool but in the end it should have always been Uryu and Ichigo because their mother's were both killed by Yhwach and he affected each of them in different ways and set them on their paths. Also that Uryu took an amazing chance by being a double agent and that should have always been the pay off.

My favorite thing about the fullbringers is that they embody the Shinto concept of "The Soul of the Object" best. Yes the Shinigami have the asauchi and the souls of their Zanpak'to but that's more the concept of "a samurai's sword is his soul"
kubo could decide to have the battle changed a bit when the anime returns by having ginjo help in the final battle

Tom can you do a video on what would happen if Toshiro was captain commander(just as old as Yamaji), and Yamaji was the young one(just like Toshiro).
Giriko and barragan and tsukashima would have been good foil to Yhwach's broken ability instead of a deus ex machina arrow
There was a *lot* more to him getting defeated than that arrow. Literally all that did was free Ichigo from being devoured for a single moment so he could make the killing blow. And all the arrow seemed to do was extended Uryu shrift ability to an outside source. So instead of him only being able to reverse what someone did to him, he could reverse what was done to someone else
@@corruptangel6793 yeah that's something I was always speculative of. So many different outside forces involved also. But the manga in itself just made it seem like it was quite literally just the arrow.
So the valley of screams is actually canon, thats just crazy

I dunno about underrated. I thought she was quite popular for how late in the anime she was introduced. I didn't like her initially either. But them Bleach Brave Soul characters /kreygasm
I would have liked to see how the time guy, forgot his name, used his power to limit what ywach can do with his almighty power. Because setting time limits limits how ywach can use his abilities to change the future. Demanding that certain events need to happen or things will get even worse for thatch
If i may add to what you said about ginjo & co. reappear in soul society; i think we shouldve had 1 or 2 panels with ukitake reincarnating on earth as a friend of ichigos son. I think things involving reancartion wouldve come full circle.

Rirukaちゃん is my favorite Fullbringer. Her relationship/friendship with Ichigo has evolved. Ichigo has two out of four of Bleach's best girls Riruka and Orihime.

i liked it the only thing i didn't like was how someone got his power back after seemingly having lost them forever but the actual arc was real good
Ichigo was said to have bad reiatsu control which is why his sword was so overly sized and his bridge was so poor in the garganta. If you watch longer in the scene you see unohana make a perfect bridge.

I think this is kubos worst take on hendaling these characters to progress the story,for me, after introducing the captain's to move the story, after that the espada, these guys where underwhelming to say the least, a personal opinion ofcorse
I don't know what else he could have done with them. As mrTommo says, they weren't exactly in the same weight class as the Quincies or Soul Reapers. Them playing a small but key support role I think was the best and most logical use of them
@@corruptangel6793 and for me becuase they where weak, The story arc had far less risk, tenchion and stakes, compare this to the end of the espada arc, u would see what I mean, from God level to human was a ruff transition for me
@@LeoArmada if you're talking about the transition from the Arrancar War Saga to the Lost Agent arc, I think it is supposed to be jarring. We just saw Ichigo at his height, one he'll never again reach; yet now he's been brought back to the level of mortals. I liked it because I could sympathize with Ichigo's frustration over his sense of being powerless. It makes what happened feel like a dream--which ironically, Ichigo comments on; saying how the only proof he has that everything actually happened was his body which had been honed for battle. And because of this, when Ichigo does regain his power (thanks to Urahara and Rukia) everything feels right again because that Ichigo is the new normal. At least that's how I felt and my interpretation of the arc. Also, I don't agree with the lack of stakes or tension. This was the most personal arc in the series so the stakes and tension are the highest they've ever been. Maybe not for us or the world at large, but character wise the stakes have never been higher for Ichigo. This was why Ichigo's breakdown when Ginjo betrayed him and stole his power was so much more raw then when he gave into despair with Aizen or even Yhwach.
@@corruptangel6793 no, it's not, in the IZEN arc there was world ending stakes, on this arc there was nothing like that, it was toned down, I never mentioned the personal aspacts of things, I'm taking about the scale of the main plot and villains and story, it was small, nothing compared to what came before it which was a war, that's what I mean, I did not enjoy how we went form GOD'S TO Humans, it's a personal taste, I don't like when story's do this, it's just an opinion.
@@LeoArmada never said you said anything about it being personal. That was me explaining why that arc had greater stakes for Ichigo. And the stakes of the Aizen arc were hardly world ending. Just world changing. It's not like Aizen was trying to destroy everything like Yhwach. Only Karakura town would have been destroyed. In any case, if that's your personal preference than who am I to say you're wrong.
I simultaneously am pleased and also off put by how he jumps straight into content. I think I’m so used to YT content creators starting with an into sequence (music+animation).

Question...didn't it say somewhere in early Bleach that when you die, there is no knowing of when your soul would come back? And on top of that, you would have no memories of a past life. Pretty sure one of the films was quite literally all about that (although the canonicity of the films is always suspect). But the Fullbringers just come back as if it was a day in the park and they had a nap, woke up in a different place, fully intact.

I remember when i first watched bleach they said you did have your memories because they were saying how if you died the chances of you finding your real family members were almost 0 because there were billions of other souls, and they wouldn't mention h finding your real family if you had no memories of them

I'm confused. I know it was not canon but in the movie with nozomi the Soul Reapers stated that it was unheard of for someone to retain memories from a past life after entering the soul Society. So I'm not really following where the fullbringers were reborn into the sole society and maintain their powers and memories

Maybe they can change up tybw in the anime a little bit to make changes. Add or get rid of things that would make it better. How would you feel about that?
They're probably gonna do that, because after when TYBW ended in manga, Kubo said that if it ever gets animated, he'll go to the studios for a better ending, so you can expect a better version that the manga.
I wouldnt mind if the studio that will do the anime make a fan service and change the way the fullbringers help at the end...

did humans typically retain their memories when they die in bleach? Also, can tsukishima be killed again now? Would be lose his memories then? I don't get how death works in bleach tbh.
This instance is a little weird as I'm sure it was mentioned earlier that people rarely find anyone else they know in Soul Society, but maybe because the three of them died in close proximity to each other they could regroup. As for their memories, I believe they do as the boy at the start does. But the cycle is so rarely shown in a series about the afterlife haha

The fullbringer arc is pretty good, the characters are good and the story is very unique compared to the rest of Bleach. But, like many things in the manga it just didn't get utilized to the fullest. Riruka is so much fun, Tsukishima's power is really cool, Ginjo is great as villain, it's a shame Bleach got the treatment it got. Naruto gets a shitty spin off even after some mediocre ending, and Bleach gets nothing. The world really is unfair
At least the anime is coming back for the final arc, that's something to look forward to!

Bleach is forever top 3 anime but I just feel like with so many characters and so little time Kubo couldn't flesh everybody out

To me, Ginjo's is actually a strange case... So he became a substitute shinigami. Ok. Don't want to use his shinigami form or powers so he is not detected by the soul society. Understandable. Then the battle with Ichigo happens and he still seems to fight in a human form. Am i forgetting something, or did he just pull a Ryûken, and doesn't use his powers because he despises them? Still, having a shinigami soul, i would think he'd appear straight up as a shinigami in the Soul Society. Which he didn't. Fullbring Ginjo was already powerful enough, i'd say to a standard captain level. Ginjo with Ichigo's powers added to him, would have probably be very powerful. More than standard bankai users at the time. And all this in a human bondy and without his zanpakutô, that would've been his main weapon. Making him similar to the Bokkutô filler villain, Captain Amagai. Having a Zanpakutô with bankai and a secondary weapon. A character that could've been so powerful (especially after integrating the training with Kuukaku, in his case probably in Kidô) and is relegated to just 2 lines of explanation and doing nothing more. What a waste.
You're right, Ginjo is such a weird case which is why I was so unhappy that he was never given a flashback or anything. I think he's basically just meant to be the same as Ichigo, but I'm guessing you're right and he chooses not to use any Shinigami powers...for some reason. While his Fullbring is powerful, he never actually seems to show any indication of having or using a zanpakuto, which is really weird.
@@MrTommo2304 I did hint at something similar in a discussion about how Ywach never knew of the silver arrow that would kill him. In that comment i stated how Ryûken layed extra low as a Quincy, probably as to avoid getting Ywach's attention and ruining that plan. I feel it was probably the same for Ginjo in the World of Living. He wanted to go undetected by Soul Society, so he "ditched" the shinigami powers and used Fullbring only. But after getting an official forgiveness thanks to Ichigo, and getting "reduced" to a soul, it's weird that he isnt in shinigami clothing. Another mistery to solve >.
I wrote a fanfic in which I modified the final battle: Ichigo, Ginjo vs Yhwach. In addition to having explored the possible bonds with Isshin, Kisuke, Kukaku and Masaki.
I think it was sad that riruka was better written better than Orihime. I liked riruka better tbh
While it was nice to see them, I honestly think they were all severely underutilized.

So many people give the fullbringers such a bad wrap. I thought they were pretty cool, it was a much more grounded story which was a nice contrast to what we’ve seen.
It's not a badly written arc imo it's just that it is way too short. Had it been longer we could've possibly seen more character development of the new characters and even see Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, and Uryu work together again but as always they get sidelined...
Similar issue to Vizard, they stopped being thematically and if anything they felt like an afterthought as a plot device. Tsukishima Book of the End was an okay way to address dealing with Yhwach's abilities, a bit quick and convenient for my liking but it didn't bother too much since it was a thing before and there are many worse examples of this in the series.
I agree it was a quick solution but I think Tsukishima worked well in the ending and it was quite effective, especially after the impact he had on Ichigo in the previous arc.
Isn't ginjo a hybrid like ichigo so couldn't he be as strong as him?
He is a candidate for being soul king but 1.does not have quincy powers 2.i don't think he has a hollow and reatsu as strong and as high as ichigo 3.ichigo belongs to the shiba clan and is sort of a one in a generation talent with exceptional abilities which ginjo is not.

I think its like human +shinigami+hollow reatsu because ginjo is not shown to have quincy powers unless he absorbed them with ichigo's fullbring or he received it as a part of soul king that is present in every fullbringer. I'm not sure about it either Confirmed it quincy reatsu is needed

At best he's Fullbringer and Soul Reaper. Far as I'm aware. Ichigo is fullbringer, Quincy (via soul sliver of Yhwach himself) hollow (Vasto Lorde) Soul Reaper (one of the 4 noble clans) and of course human. And these are perfectly fused naturally. Ichigo is one of a kind.
Why are they at soul society? Shouldn't Ginjo and Tsukishima be in hell instead since they committed abhorrent acts as mortals?

No - she's seen at the very beginning as a captive of the Quincies and then never seen again. But it's confirmed she survived in CFYOW.
