  • That is one interesting property!!! It appears that this was a larger property in the old days that has slowly been subdivided over the years. That second kitchen would really make for a huge master suite with a wet bar and a place to set one’s coffee and or espresso maker on. A small refrigerator and just think of waking up in the morning and not leaving your bedroom to make coffee! And it’s a short walk to the terrace! Our home in the states had a huge master suite which was actually the master bedroom combined with the fourth bedroom as one large "L" shaped room. Our office was in the area that would have been the fourth bedroom while the larger area had the bed, a makeup counter with a huge mirror and lights which lead into the full bathroom. No bidets in the USA in most modern bathrooms. Many are going for the TOTO Toilet from Japan that is a combination toilet and bidet and heats it’s own water and can be set to three individuals needs ( well over a thousand dollars, but well worth it!). Oh the possibilities of this home!

  • I would turn the upstairs in a fabulously master bedroom suite, I think the kitchen upstairs is just a waisted space

  • This place is huge. I would open the kitchen to the living area and probably turn th first, small, narrow bedroom into a bathroom and connect it to the second, larger bedroom. Then paint and replace the French doors.

  • I like the second “kitchen” on the second floor as a studio or work space. You could add a coffee bar and small fridge to store drinks and snacks, milk, etc. so you wouldn’t have to go all the way downstairs if you’re feeling peckish (hungry). The light is really good for an art studio, photography studio or KZhead video studio! Why not create a space for your own creations? Any business or hobby could have a home there! 😮😊

  • Quite remarkable! This house undoubtedly must have been built as a single home with the ground floor subdivided off at some point in time. Would be nice someday to reintegrate the ground floor. Nonetheless, the 1st and 2nd floors, plus the basement, work well as a unit. What I would do is to turn it into an inn, with a kitchen on each floor where guests can make their meals. I'd also gear it towards older travellers and retirees, who presumably would be much less noisy than younger folk. And the cantina would be perfect as a candlelit space to enjoy the evening like a wine bar and coffee lounge. Of course, only if local laws allow such use as an inn and if the ground floor owner and neighbors don't object. 🙂

    • I believe it has been used as summer house but if you would like, you can get a termosifone system installed (radiators and boiler)

  • Hi, Fiorella & Aden, Is the area of this property in the “7%” tax zone… and can you share in a future video a drawn line across the boot of Italy where the 7% begins, and if that tax scheme includes property tax as well. Thanks!

    • Hi Salvatore. Pretty much everything from Abruzzo to the South plus a few areas in Umbria, Lazio and Marche Keep in mind that its main purpose is to help repopulate towns, so the town has to have less than 20K people

  • I really love this property & your filming is excellent as always, thank you for sharing! PS. If he were my hubby, I'm afraid I would have been tempted to kick him as many times as he stood in your path texting away like a teenager : /

    @MatildaMoss64@MatildaMoss642 ай бұрын
    • Hi. When you see him on videos doing this he is not texting. He is taking details, measurements, photos and contacting people that might be interested in the property we're touring. There's a lot happening before, during and after we present you a home tour video.

  • First off - buy the ground floor area . Secondly , rather than master bedroom suite on top floor , I’d break the kitchen and bedroom beside balcony ( last small bedroom) as 1 room.then I would go up into roof and open it up to 3 meters high, build glass wall with bifold doors and extend across to existing balcony. That would then be the main living area . Open it all up . Id have remaining bedroom on top floor as office/studio. Get rid of pigeons and pigeon crap and the flies .

  • Hi. What extra fees we need to add on top of the asking price more or less? Thanks

    @Sagi56668@Sagi566682 ай бұрын
    • It would depend on whether it's your primary residence or not and a few other factors. Taxes are 2% or 9% depending on the above. Realtor fees are usually 3% and then there's the notary fee which depends on the one you choose. Some people shop around and get different quotes. We made a video of our own personal experience which you may find useful. I'll link it below 👇 kzhead.info/sun/etmuhdqGjXqMln0/bejne.htmlsi=eNoIrQhS3t0eCm5b

  • How safe is it to buy a property in a town like the one in the video if you were only going to occupy it for 3 months/90 days a year? I see these places and have always thought it would be nice to get a second place but was always concerned about what would happen to it when I'm not there? I was wondering if possibly having a live in domestic helper who really does not do anything [I would never desire a maid or cook and like to do that stuff myself] who would stay there when I'm not there for some kind of charge.

    • Many people have only holiday homes and are/would be in your situation. You may consider renting it out for short periods of time, or pay someone to check on it/clean every so often. It wouldn't cost much to do that.

  • When someone buys a place like this with old big furniture, how hard is it to get someone to haul away all the big pieces?

    @tomrietta1280@tomrietta12802 ай бұрын
    • Hi, not too difficult. Here the hallways are wide and street access for a truck is easy. In Italy you usually find people to do any job, but if you want the furniture out you can request during the negotiation process

  • Wow, beautiful house. So many rooms and the flooring is perfect. I love the stairs with art déco iron Gard. For the price it is a bargain. The exterior looking very nice and almost nothing to do. I will buy this house only for the cantina. I am not serious.... Thanks guys another beautiful video. Love you.
