No he does not. If he's afraid there's a bomb and isn't getting answers to his questions, then he needs to do his job and ensure there's no bomb or something dangerous. If it's unattended, that can be dangerous. Guard - is it your bag. No answer until guard walks away with his bag. Guard - what's in the bag (meaning in its entirety to ensure it's a) his bag, and b) that nobody slipped anything in it to get him in trouble. Go to poor countries for example. Sometimes their workers will slip something in and get them put in jail because the "rich country has money" and will pay their way out of the jail. Go to the Netherlands. This is how I learned all this. I had a very bad experience and realized why it's crucial to know what's in your bag at all times and never to leave it unattended. This is real and it does happen. The guard is doing his job because it was unattended.

These mall cops think they are omnipotent. Their employers puff them up, fail to train them properly, and set them loose in public places. I’m so glad you caught all this on camera. I’ve worked with security in different businesses and environments and dealt with bomb threats and crisis management situations and the way all these ‘security guards’ dealt with this situation shows they are not really aware of their environment and are not fully trained or experienced in dealing with and handling what potential threats if any are around them. For one they should already know who you are as it’s not the first time you’ve turned up playing the piano let alone your popularity on KZhead. Plus it shows their inability to deal with more than one issue at a time by all congregating around you meaning the rest of the station is left open to vulnerabilities. Quite embarrassing really

As a security guard myself, that guard is completely in the wrong, he shouldn't be searching the bag without permission and he shouldn't be touching it (even if he has permission to search it, he still can't touch it). I did security for a really long time.What he did was actually very illegal in the States. And on top of that he was acting aggressive and did not apply any de-escalation techniques. No, only the police have stop and search powers. You would have to consent to the bag search by station staff security. This is why it is normally done by british tranport police who have that power and not station security. I would raise a formal comlaint to the station manager.

No he does not. If he's afraid there's a bomb and isn't getting answers to his questions, then he needs to do his job and ensure there's no bomb or something dangerous. If it's unattended, that can be dangerous. Guard - is it your bag. No answer until guard walks away with his bag. Guard - what's in the bag (meaning in its entirety to ensure it's a) his bag, and b) that nobody slipped anything in it to get him in trouble. Go to poor countries for example. Sometimes their workers will slip something in and get them put in jail because the "rich country has money" and will pay their way out of the jail. Go to the Netherlands. This is how I learned all this. I had a very bad experience and realized why it's crucial to know what's in your bag at all times and never to leave it unattended. This is real and it does happen. The guard is doing his job because it was unattended.

I’m a security guard in Germany and we have the same kind of issues here that a lot of the employees are not German and can hardly speak out language properly then they get a uniform and think there’re cops and constantly over step their abilities

I’m so glad you caught all this on camera. I’ve worked with security in different businesses and environments and dealt with bomb threats and crisis management situations and the way all these ‘security guards’ dealt with this situation shows they are not really aware of their environment and are not fully trained or experienced in dealing with and handling what potential threats if any are around them. For one they should already know who you are as it’s not the first time you’ve turned up playing the piano let alone your popularity on KZhead. Plus it shows their inability to deal with more than one issue at a time by all congregating around you meaning the rest of the station is left open to vulnerabilities. Quite embarrassing really
