The Canucks just pulled off something UNBELIEVABLE...

The Vancouver Canucks beat the Nashville Predators 4-3 in OT, the craziest Canucks game I have seen in a long time, Brock Boeser hattrick, Elias Lindholm scores the winner and Artur Silovs was great in his first NHL playoff start. Canucks take a 3-1 series lead!

  • My 6yr old son was in tears when Beoser tied it up with 7 seconds left in the 3rd period. For clarity, it’s not because he was emotionally invested in the game. He actually wasn’t even watching. He was in tears because my explosion of excitement and relief scared the absolute shit out of him! 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️ P.S. For context, that tying goal was just a fraction of a sliver shy of matching how I felt when Burrows scored the OT winner to slay the Blackhawks in 2011. • I've been watching hockey since before I can remember... I'm 42 years old. I grew up with Gretzky being the king of everything, and of course was an Oilers fan as a little kid. When Gretz got traded, I hated the Oilers for doing that, and became a Canucks fan because that was my dad's team. I have been following the team avidly for 28 years at this point. My parents were at the original towel power game in 1981, where they waved my cloth diapers as the towels they brought to the game. MY VEINS ARE FULL OF CANUCKS BLUE. Through the grace of God (and being a good friend of Matt Halischuk's brother) I got to see the Canucks ELIMINATE the Predators in 2011 in Nashville. I have seen some great shit over the years, but I've never seen anything like this. This is the kind of moment a team looks back at when they win the last game of their season and say "yeah, that was it, that was the moment we came together". IT'S FUCKING CRAZY. THAT'S THE CRAZIEST SHIT I'VE EVER SEEN!

  • I have seen a couple Canucks comebacks before in the regular season. Last season against Montreal after going down 4-0 in the first period and winning the game 7-6 in OT was the loudest I've ever cheered for a regular season win. This season down 2-0 against Boston and winning the game in OT 3-2 was amazing too. This is the playoffs however. When we got 1 back after pulling Silovs I was pretty happy. When Colton Sissons hit the post on an EN, I laughed. Then Brockstar Boeser completed the Hatty to tie the game 3-3 and I was going nuts. 1 minute into OT Lindholm scored and I ran around the house. Then they joined the NHL and we've waited 55 years for a Stanley Cup. I also hate the owners, the Aquilini's because of their sleazy business practises that hurt me personally. However, I watched the last two games completely and was very impressed by their talent. They actually look like a team that can win the cup, they are that good.

    • the leafs lost to the zamboni driver in toronto, who had to sub for the opposing team when they lost both goalies in the same game a few years back. that would be embarassing when your own zamboni driver beats your team.
