  • Swedish dude had good perception for avoiding punches. Israelian guy solved that with good timing because even if you see it doesn't mean you can always avoid it when already in momentum. Plus, the Swedish dude went into the punch full body moving forward while the Israelian sat down on his punch SOLID. The beauty of patience and using your enemies confidence against him. As the Swedish dude looked pretty relaxed, maybe just a LITTLE too much from the Israelians perspective.

    • Blonde guy didn't have the power to keep the stockier shorter one in checks. Wasn't agressive enough, didn't check or avoid power low kicks, and didn't seem to have a decent kicking game of his own so it was written. You could see from the beginning he lacked the aggression to make his opponent work on the backfoot, which is often a good strat against aggressive strikers as they don't know how to do when they aren't the aggressor...

  • Those oblique kicks were great, and was one of the biggest things that messed up his opponents range and gave him something to worry about. Dont see those pushing front kicks to hyper extend the knee enough, they are an awesome tool which we trained a lot in Tae Kwon Do.

    • You don't see it enough because it's a dirty ass move meant for career ending damage. Attacking the knees directly is something you do in a real fight when your life and physical well being is threatened. If someone repeatedly tried this on me in a sanctioned/half way professional fight and im supposed to have many more fights after i would simply wait for the kick and instantly counter with a nut kick and just take the disqualification. Dirty move for a dirty move. You trying to end my career? I'm gonna try to end your ability to fuck and or have kids. People that rely on shit like that are praised for having a "high fight iq" when in reality they only do it because they can't actually handle the smoke. Fucking cowards

  • Sure seems to be a lot of big swings and not a lot of setup. These guys seem, however, relatively relaxed which is great. With some training they could really level up 👍🏼

  • Good call from the referee. At least invest in a mat, like some MMA 4cm or gearpuzzle one which you lay down in each fight, simple to bring it in a van with you to every fight. Otherwise I think authority will quickly hunt and shut down such organized fights, for instance if someone gets hurt severly on the concrete floor.
