  • The racing kit works that way because it probably occupies the "is_armored" attribute slot on the vehicle, so installing the racing kit changes that value to 1, while the other options change it to 2 and 3 respectively. Most likely the explosive resistance only checks if the "is_armored" attribute is 1, because most other vehicles either have armor or not. Rockstar's dev team really is a bunch of underpaid chimps lol

  • The vapid guardian also has the same issue with the license plate where it doesn’t even appear up in the menu and you can’t even customize it on the plate website

    • Guardian is a great vehicle, I can drive in deep water which is really cool. You can actually drown in it without disabling the truck which is fun to play around with. No plate customization is a slight bummer.

    • @@Kyugornegular armor upgrades for every other vehicle are 50k. Most vehicles it only adds armor from collision and prevents explosions from landing on the roof, not overall explosion resistance. It would make this the cheapest vehicle to put armor on in the entire game if it was intentional.

    • It can also do the slamtruck bed thing, with the spare wheel. scroll rapidly through the spare wheel options till you select the "stock spare wheel", and now you'll have a floating logo and the spare wheel holder.. but no spare wheel.

  • Pro tip: if someone keeps bothering you with an imani tech car, rc or not, place 5 stickies on the ground beneath your feet like a sweaty barcode, and for a sixth sticky bomb explosion hold one more in your hand. Detonate right before being run over by your enemy and they will receive 6 explosions to the face.

  • Turns out i didn't get a glitch, it actually adds armor XD i don't know if you ended up seeing my comment, but i had tested it again after you said it had no armor. This thing is a freemode defensive beast imo, one of the safest vehicles to travel

    • Atleast the Rat Loader, from what I can see, can have a new custom plate applied to it via the new license plate site. The Duke O'Death does not appear in the list at all despite being used recently... Not sure about the other outliers, gonna have to test it out for ourselves.

  • You can't lock onto this vehicle with homing rockets and it's really fast so I'll take my chances with the drive by weapons rather than more armor. I have plenty of other vehicles if I need armor.

  • Are the exotic vehicles broken? The ones you deliver to the docks. Not seen ANY spawn since the update. Checked the airfreight cargo in the hide map blip options and its no longer there? Looking in the wrong place or have they removed it which has killed the exotic cars?

    • The guided missile (1000) is two times as strong as the RPG (500) in the blast radius. The Flak cannon is six times as strong as the RPG (3000)

  • I just bought this thing and it's the most buggy vehicle ever. Passengers can't get in the passenger side 50% of the time and I've even been stuck inside of it myself as the driver and had to restart the entire game because it wouldn't let me get out. Awesome use of $2.5 million.

  • It's funny because they done something similar in the past somehow , remember the regular kuruma being armoured with just by putting a livery ? How do they manage to create these bugs , they have been so many in this update. Maybe their solution is to remove a couple DLCs since they have a small bug or something.

    • it wasn't the livery that made the kuruma bulletproof. the car was bulletproof even without a livery. they broke the model in the update where they added the liveries. it's clearly a very small team working on the updates at this point so a lot of stuff gets overlooked and ignored. it's unfortunate

  • I have a theory about the dripfeed based on this. Maybe they dont stretch out the dripfeed over insane periods of time, with content dropping at seemingly random intervals just for S&Gs. Maybe they drop the dripfeed cars as they finish them. So maybe they couldn't just put this into the dripfeed and make one of those a day-one car because its the closest thing they had to being done

    • it doesn't work that way. the cars and everything else that will be released later on is in your game already. if it wasn't, you'd have to download an update for when they release stuff that is hidden right now. they can't just change a model or whatever and release it without making you download new files.

  • Now I know I'm not crazy. I have two of them and both have Missle Jammers, but one is a racing rally build and the other for show. I've noticed one being able to tank a couple mk2 rockets again skilled free aim shooters who managed to hit me, while one would blow me up another time. It's becoming a habit of them releasing DLCs with messy designed cars.

  • It’s probably just me, but I don’t think the lock on jammers on the Imani tech vehicles even work on the newer ones anyways the ones on the contract deal see they work LS drug wars an LS mercenaries update I will be driving along randomly, and I just get locked onto that is my experience with a newer Imani tech vehicles.
