  • To make this truly zero points, according to WW rules (counting blended fruit), you could simply not blend the fruit for the smoothie. Just kind of make a yogurt bowl and then the fruit would be zero. Even if you omitted the almond milk and OJ, the calorie difference is minimal - maybe 20 calories. Or go ahead and make the smoothie without the fruit and just add the fruit so you're eating it. ;) I personally have never counted my blended fruit, but that's just me. Y'all know my saying - you do you! 😉

  • OMG! This was so helpful!! I'm 66 years old and just finished treatment for breast cancer 5 months ago. Your video was exactly what I needed to kick start my motivation to move forward with my WW goals. Thank you so much and I subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to watching more and learning a lot. Thanks again!!

  • These foods look so good and healthy too! I hate when people show what they eat in a day on WW and start out with Mcdonald's food.....NOOO! Lol! Thanks for this video, it's so helpful to me

    • Thanks so much!! I think those are probably trying to show that eating McDonald's once in a while is a norm for them, (and completely okay) so they're showing it since they eat that on that particular day. But just for me personally, I honestly don't eat fast food hardly ever because it just doesn't agree with me. But if I did have it on a day I was doing a What I Eat video, I'd feel the need to show it out of honesty with everyone. Hope that made sense. But it definitely wouldn't be a regular thing for me. ;) I'm so glad the video was helpful!! 😊

  • Thank you for this video - it was perfect timing for me. I’ve been planning a zero point day - I want to do one to kick start my weight loss again and then plan one once a month. I’ve done one before and it helped. Mostly, I think, it helped motivate me and helps me focus on eating all the healthy options. You have given me great ideas with this video - some things I didn’t think of adding like the different cheeses you used. I love your videos - especially how you get right to the subject but I didn’t mind the intro on this one at all. Great video!

  • Super interesting! I tried WW, but I wasn’t eating enough zero point foods and was starving so I went to calorie counting and felt so much better. I have diet restrictions and it was just too hard for me on WW. I still sometimes use it when I want to be really healthy. I’m using my net diary and it seems to work for me. I have maintained my weight for years with intuitive eating, but found myself eating too many sweets. WW will certainly stop that!

    @nkailihiwa@nkailihiwa9 ай бұрын
    • Thats absolutely correct. That's why I have never paid attention to the blue circles personally. That's why I have started using WW more as a guide over the last couple years. It's so different for each of us, depending what our way of eating is. Thanks my friend! ❤️

  • Hi Great video! Thank you! I come to youtube to get inspiration from everyone else that does WW ..... right now I'm personally struggling with a small setback (broken knee cap) so my regular exercise has been disrupted. Lost over 100 #s on WW and my activity level is key to my plan. Walking is fine but they don't want me to swim so my weight has gone up ugh! Your work here's so appreciated by me. Don't know anything about macros though.... maybe that's where I'm missing out? thank you for such a good presentation! My new fav zero points snacks are herbal tea w/ apple slices (I'm in New England--cold here!) Smoked paprika chicken breast, unsweetened applesauce w/ berries, grape tomatoes, and there's more! The blender's one of my fav appliances so the whole blending rule challenges me and good for you for having it your way! May try that myself at some point!

    @beauxmimi77@beauxmimi776 ай бұрын
    • Thank you so much!! I know exactly what you mean! I've come to realize that exercise is absolutely key to me!! If you're following WW, you don't really need to worry about macros. They factor that all in for you. I just share it because I do track my protein at the request of my doctor, but I definitely wouldnt recommend tracking macros and calories AND WW. Just stick to one or the other to make it simple! :)

I know you know that, but if you’re saying you are challenging yourself to 0 pts, you should do 0 pts according to WW rules yeah? What would your smoothie have been if you added it to the recipe maker in the ww app? It wasn’t a lot of fruit though and it sure did look good!!! So my challenge to you would be could you technically do a 0 pt day and still hit 1400 or more calories? This is a great video thanks for sharing!! New sub ❤

    • Totally understand what you're saying. That's why I mentioned that you could just make a yogurt bowl out of the same ingredients. It's just the blended fruit, by WW rules, that has points. So, in that case, I just wouldn't have blended it, and it would be 0. Hope that made sense. 😊 And welcome!!

  • Hi, I have a ?.. I just started WW with 23 points a day. I was just wondering how we can eat free foods all day because aren't we suppose to eat our daily points? Please explain. Thank you!

    @diannevickers3086@diannevickers30869 ай бұрын
    • Hi there! I also get 23 points a day plus 28 weeklies. And yes, we ARE supposed to eat them. On a typical day, I do eat my 23 points, as well as my extras throughout the week. I also eat a lot of the zero-point foods in a day as well. I usually use my points for adding things to zero point foods - cheese, sauce, etc., nuts, olive oils, whole grains, etc. This particular video was just showing how you can get creative with zero point foods. But they are definitely not "free" foods, so to speak. Everything has calories. So, if I would have eaten all this PLUS my 23 points, chances are I would have been over my calories for this particular day. It's all about moderation though. Feel free to check out some of my What I Eat in a Day videos to see how I typically use my points in a day. I hope that made sense and was helpful. :)

  • Thank you for sharing this. Do you struggle with hunger issues? I'm a 45 year old female, and I struggle with constant hunger. I'm not diabetic. My doctor put me on Metformin to help. I've been on it for a week and a half but don't like it. I want to increase my protein intake without going over my WW Points. I don't buy or eat beef too often. I also don't eat eggs. They make me nauseous. If I do eat an egg it will most likely be a boiled egg in a salad. I do like my plant based protein like Garden of Life. Any suggestions?

    • Hi there! Honestly, I don't struggle with hunger issues at all anymore. (I used to back years ago when I would restrict my calories). I eat all my points plus my weeklies (but not my exercise points). I just make sure to be as balanced as possible throughout the day. I eat A LOT of veggies, so the fiber in those really fill me up. Are you eating your weekly points in addition to your daily points? If not, it may be possible that you're just not eating enough. It wouldn't hurt to try to find a registered dietician who can maybe help figure things out for you. We are all so different so it's really hard to say. ;)

    @stac1126@stac11266 ай бұрын
    • It's because at some point, when you have more of something, it then becomes a point. This doesn't happen for true zero-point foods, but for foods that actually have points, you usually go by the normal serving size and it has points. But if you just want a small amount of something, it's possible it can be zero. But then having several servings of that throughout the day, would bring it to the normal serving size. That's why I don't do a lot of videos like this because I want to have a good relationship with food and not be so stringent on things like that. But I wanted to also show that it's still possible to make a zero point day out of pointed foods and have it be a decent amount of calories without just eating chicken and veggies. Hope that made sense. :)

  • Since we can agree that weight loss is driven by macros and calories, I'm trying to understand the point (no pun intended) of spending money on WW. Is it for some accountability?

    @kims1941@kims19419 ай бұрын
    • First of all, I LOVE the pun!!! LOL Honestly, I think it's just another way to track, depending on someone's preference. Personally I jump back and forth between tracking calories and tracking points. For me, tracking points has helped me to focus more on the health aspect of it rather than weight loss. I know the zero point foods are a healthier choice and can build my meals around those foods. I think for tracking purposes too, a lot of people don't like to have to track every little thing. With tracking points, we really only have to track the things that have points. So, in other words, if I eat a ton of vegetables, I don't have to track those since they are zero points and taken into my daily point allotment for the day. So, I guess the short answer is it's just a personal preference for a lot of people. Hope that made sense. I feel like I was all over the place! LOL
