  • You’re lucky that your copart lets you bring tools and leaves you alone to inspect. My local copart only lets you inspect 3 cars a day and doesn’t even let you bring a scan tool, plus someone stays with you at all times,

  • i have a good record with Copart but I buy wisely. my Copart won't even let you film or walk the yard. you can only inspect two per day.

    @justwrenchit9287@justwrenchit92874 жыл бұрын
    • Same here. It sucks that each copart have their own different set of rules and way they do things. I just film hoping they dont ask me to stop. I can walk any of the yards around me and look at as many cars as I want but they will only hand out two keys at a time so I have to swap them out if I want more keys.

  • Question hope you can answer I went to my local Copart yard with my guest account paid 25 dollars to view just 3 cars !!!! And with someone watching what I was doing very uncomfortable I had limited time to see those 3 cars. How can you walk around ? Inspecting the car you’d like ? That’s my question

    @BRYAN-uh7ge@BRYAN-uh7ge4 ай бұрын
    • Unfortunately I know each Copart kind of has their own rules, Ive never had to pay to view cars before. Typically I just go to the counter and tell them what cars I would like to view and they bring them to the viewing area and then I can take my time with them. I never have anyone watching me unless I go to a area of the lot where I am not supposed to be. Maybe try another Copart location to see if things are better. Hope this helps and best of luck on your search

  • I'm looking at a 2021 Tacoma on copart that looks fine it say primary damage dents and scratches and for secondary it says damage history. The weird part is that this same truck was auctioned a few weeks ago with more damage to the front,side and back but now this has been repaired and is back in auction any idea how that happens? Are they scamming?

    @larios86@larios862 жыл бұрын
    • Kind of, some people will buy a crashed car, do minimal work to make it look better and then auction it for a higher amount. I would probably avoid it

    • a) because then you'd know what's actually wrong with it, and/or b) they don't want to be accused of clearing codes. probably a. i'm just guessing.
