The way West Ham play their corners is just too dangerous to defend 🔥🔥
I like The Hammers too. But Antonio's too aggressiveness to the goalies inside the 6-yard box should become a concern. The way he leaned or bumped his body to the goalies could cause their mistakes or injuries (clearly seen in Liverpool and Burnley games). Referees theses days forgot what 6 yard-box is for. Or the rules about a free kick in front of a penalty box that no players from a freekick team can be within 3 yards of the wall. Those referees and linemen should be put back to school. They are nowhere near as good as those in the 20-year past.

Our 1979 - 82 squad was a brilliant one. FAC winners, Division 2 Champs, League cup runners up and we took the first division by storm in 1982.

@@emorydaniel9084 the irony with that league cup final match at Wembley was that Liverpool’s goal was very controversial in that Lee was offside and interfering with play, plus McDermott punched Martin’s header over the bar in the last minute. Fortunately, Tonka scored the last second penalty. During the 2006 final at Cardiff they crowded out Scaloni when throwing the ball back into play at the end of the match, ending up in him giving the ball away. Liverpool have always used the ‘dark arts’ if we have threatened them so that’s why I always smile wryly whenever they moan about us.

It was great fun also back in 85/86 season we finished 3rd in the tables behind Everton , they done the double that year & Liverpool runners up. 🏃♀️ we had Frank MacAveny & Tony Cottie. A great goal scoring partnership

Not sure about with taa but with Ali they were pretty much crowding him out with those corners in way that makes it awkward to stop those goals it was a strategy. Depending on who is refing they wont always be able to do that.
@@aeternafortuna1644 TAA could have tracked back on the 2nd goal and could have blocked Zouma's path on the header but chose to be passive instead. This doesn't mean he isn't a great player if not one of the top 5 fullbacks in this world
If you look at the Zouma goal you could see how they planned to take VVD out of the equation by using Rice as a buffer to shield him. Leaving Trent, and Trent is no behemoth to compete physically or in the air with Zouma. Great move.
As a liverpool fan, West Ham United have done very well this match. We did Lose, but we did not lose empty handed. The lost For Lfc. will make Klopp think more about our statergies and Line Ups So good job West Ham United Good Game!

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. No one else seemed to realize that tactic West ham was using against Alisson. Which in another game with a different ref they may have gotten a different call for stuff like that. I saw it and realize that Alisson was being blocked off in a way that would make it difficult unless he was gonna get more physical against West ham which might result in him some getting trouble.
At one will go down in club history as one of the greatest matches ever for West Ham!! I could not have been any prouder that day!!!!

Watching the 1st West Ham united goal was a Pain. Concerning virgil van dijk right back was completly out of sight. So Van Dijk had to chase down Antonio which resulted into a corner than a goal.

What a match!!
It is always nice to beat Liverpool because they are a huge club. There is a bit of rivalry in my family because I support West Ham but my brother is a Liverpool fan. Liverpool were the reigning league champions and hadn't lost for, if I remember correctly, 28 matches, so it was nice to break that run. Also, they only lost twice all season, so being one of those was a big achievement. Later, we went to Anfield, gave a very good account of ourselves but lost 1-0 in a match where we deserved at least a draw.
