I really hope this league starts getting more attention, I’m glad STL appreciates having football back
It will give it time once they make a deal to be minor NFL and share players.
I dont think its si much tha te St. Louis doesnt/didnt appreciate football, although it is clearly a baseball and hockey town, sports fans in St. Louid loathe the glut that accompanies the NFL
@@Indigenous267 STL just loves sports. New MLS team sold out already home games until May. Ticket prices 3-5x any other mls tickets. Same with XFL. They love sports not just hockey and baseball
Damn right I was there
I’m from STL, was at the game, there was so many beer cans and drunk people going into the arena it was fun!! Awesome to have football back!!
That’s amazing the amount of support they get. Very happy to see that STL appreciates them
That sea of blue fans in the crowd is great to see!
Wow, that crowd was LIT AF! Find a few more non-NFL cities for the XFL and they might be cooking with some gas next year!
They definitely have a bunch of options. Off the top of my head: Portland, Salt Lake City, Baton Rouge, San Diego or San Jose, Fort Worth or El Paso (maybe move Houston there), Milwaukee, Birmingham, OKC or Tulsa, maybe somewhere in Connecticut or NJ if NY isn't an option, Louisville or Lexington, Virginia Beach/Chesapeake/Norfolk, etc
@@haphaxion San Diego would be a great one, people forget that they supported the chargers pretty well until they moved to LA
@@haphaxion San Diego deserves another pro football team. The chargers just up and left and are lucky to sell enough tickets for their remaining fans but even Rams and Chargers home games are always full of opposing fans
@@haphaxion Baton Rouge would be huge, there's nothing to do there otherwise and you'd prob get folk driving in from all over the state at least
@@haphaxion I actually like the Portland, Salt lake city, San Deigo, Milwaukee(a city wanting a football team for awhile now), Baton Rouge, Tuscalousa(Bama fans are intense so why not capitalize), Lakewood(fastest growing city in Jersey) Virgina Beach options First off it gives natural North(St Louis, Seattle, Portland, Milwaukee) East(DC, Orlando, Lakewood, Virgina Beach) West(San Deigo, Vegas, Salt Lake, San Antonio) and South(Baton Rouge, Tuscalousa, Huston and Arlington) divisions Second off they are all either growing cities or cities that have had major sports before, and with a strong fanbase. Third off it helps prevent what we are probably going to be in(could be fixxed by a playoff restructure): Where a Southern team is getting in with a worse record than a Northern team(Probably a Arlington(Ending probs 6-4 or 5-5) over a Seattle( ending probably 7-3 or 8-2))
What a crowd. I am happy for the many soccer fans of St. Louis and so many thanks to those Enterprise owners for building their new stadium and new team. I grew up a Football fan.! The Battle Hawks sure came through for the fans today. Amazing XFL support. The Battle Hawks are great for St. Louis in the Dome.
They originally had 30,000 tickets up for sale but they sold out quickly. So, they kept adding more.
Wait a minute this is soccer stadium?
@@AdderTude Yes, on the local news last night the attendance wa 38,300 but they were not opening up all 67,000 seats for selling. I heard someone comment they should open up all the Dome and do not know why they would not do so.. They talked about how it was making buying tickets difficult but then they did open up more seats. I guess they were really surpirsed how many in St. Louis support football and the Battle Hawks.
Read somewhere that there were 38,000 fans there in St. Louis. I hope this is true, I truly hope the XFL succeeds.
38,310 was the official number 🙌🏻
Not bad
Yes 38,000+ in attendance! I was there!
38,310.. I was there.. unbelievable fan base… even the tailgate was lit.. I’m so happy to be a Battle Hawk.. KA-KAW!!!
It would have been full if allowed
The XFL is going up from here. This is amazing football.
Hakeem Butler is an absolute beast out there. Great crowd too
I love all the comments!!!! I love the packed crowd in St Louis even more!!! Way to go XFL week 4 another success!!!!
St. Louis is a great sports city , I hope they Get NFL back someday .
Having been spurned twice with teams moving out of stl in my lifetime, I’m good without the NFL. I’ll root on my battlehawks though!
@@jots083 It would take an exceptional owner like those of Enterprise for the new soccer team. I do understand your comment though after Kroenke and learning all about his indemnification agreement convincing NFL owners he would cover their St. Louis lawsuit damages, which showed their guilt. That agreement was not what they expected. for personal coverage. I guess they failed to read the fine print. At least the lawsuit clarified things. Now the Cardinals were different because STL City and County fought over a new stadium site resulting in no football only stadium. . I am so happy with the Battle Hawks!
NFL too busy trying to swoon a nonexistent LA fanbase.
@@larryloveless2967 and Roger Goodell went right along with it.
We are a bad football town. Give it a few years
Crowd is impressive!
Such a great time being able to watch football on almost every weekend of the year
Next Saturday vs. DC in the REMATCH should be a FRENZY!
I'm not from there but I'm glad st Louis got a team again. AJ and hill and that D were putting in a show. I can tell they love their battlehawks by the 38k attendance.
The battlehawks croud was going crazy!
XFL WILL EVOLVE WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT!!!!!!
I never thought I could watch this league.. I was wrong . So glad it's here not only for fans but athletes
Bryan Hill can ball, look for him to land somewhere this fall. This defense is vibin' right now too. Amazing crowd. Respect to you guys St. Louis.
dome field advantage...go battlehawks
I'm a bengals fan and always believed in AJ McCarron, I'm so happy he's killing it. It's plays like at 7:13 that make me believe he's better them given credit for
He is playing really well. Likely better than all the STL Rams quarterbacks that followed Kurt Warner. Marc Bulger started pretty good but then became shell shocked from a poor offensive line.
St Louis XFL LOOKS LIKE THE BEST SPORTS EXPERIENCE IN AMERICA 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🦾🦾🦾
The Dome was rocking today. So much fun.
From Columbus Ohio I'm screaming out KAW IS LAW!!! LET'S GO BATTLEHAWKS!!!!
So happy to see former Michigan great De'Veon Smith getting some good run. That pizza shit with the USFL was ridiculous. Dudes a dawg
Well, thankfully the Maulers have a new head coach now.
Wow! STL fans are lit 🔥🔥🔥
The best part of this league is the St Louis fans. They are so fired up
0:38 decent lead block by the QB!
Something you’d never see an NFL vet do 😂
@@dongo6988 except that one time Aaron Rodgers lowered his shoulder for a block last season, I was honestly surprised to see that haha
@@deadlimerence he’s a goat though 😂 he’s an exception
@@dongo6988 rarely does happen unless, you count Josh Allen bulldozing over some CB lol
Announcer: "It's gettin' hot in hurr." 😄
Holy cow a full stadium is beautiful to see
That o line showed up in this game finally for st. Louis. Other than that one over throw that was picked, he looked absolutely superb. It's gonna be hard to keep the nfl teams if he keeps putting the ball on the money like that td throw to butler I believe it was....
OMG So many crowd in the stadium Let XFL vives!
I love the way the McCaren (sp?) adjusted a became lead blocker on the long run by Hill
Place is packed!
They made the right choice to keep the Battlehawks in St. Louis. I remember their XFL 2.0 season had great fan attendance too and that XFL would’ve succeeded had it not been for Covid
This league is cooking! All they need is to bring back the nicknames on jerseys for today. We may never see the legendary “He Hate Me” again, but there’s definitely potential for some fire names.
no pls no, we dont want xfl to become wwe again. it should be more like nfl.
@@inactiveeagle04 Oh, don’t worry. That was Vince McMahon pushing two sports brands at once and doing anything to make his old league watchable. Suffice to say that in The Rock’s hands, we likely won’t see that again. Like I said, we will NEVER see those old school kinds of nicknames again, but if you had the right governance around it, it could help a player develop a recognizable identity for both themselves and the XFL. I like the direction the league is currently going in, and allowing players to give the crowd a name to keep an eye out for could even shine a light on less appreciated positions on the field. Bottom line, there would have to be some HEAVY rules on what a player can and can’t name themselves, but it wouldn’t and SHOULDN’T become a character or a gimmick for them. But the nicknames on the jerseys was a cool and unique touch from the original league that could easily work in the new league.
Seeing this,, I gotta get tickets to a few battlehawk games… well worth it
Always Great support in St Louis 👍
That arena got LOUD
I love this team SOOOOO MUCH
As always, great content!
Yeah st Louis crowd was definitely loud good game hope the league can actually work this time
Gg, Arlington! What a game.
Brian hill went to my high school. Pretty dope seeing him out here puttin in work💪🏼
Amazing crowd
I like the XFL kickoff rule. Makes the play safer
Also the new punt rule. Gunners can't take off until the ball's in the air.
Without making it uninteresting
Don’t matter if it’s XFL STL supports their team
We go over all recap with XFL and nfl !
I love the XFL it’s second chance or a chance at the sport you love 💯🔥
Man... St. Louis is hungry for football. That stadium looked pretty packed. I am loving the XFL.
That ref though 😍😍
5:57 Bro I swear I thought this was picked...surprised Vander Esch came up with it...
Somebody has to pick up Butler in free agency. He’s been making plays every game this season so far. He looks like He could be a real threat in the big leagues with the right qb
apparently he was in the league before and it didn’t work out for some reason
What a fan roar.
Man Sloter was horrible today , I sure hope he can turn it around next week as I think he’s got a lot of potential..
It was LOUD here in the BATTLEDOME. Felt sorry for him.
A QB is only as good as the line in front of him.
Reminds me of another Kyle from Denver back in the day. Not sure about him although his receivers didn't help him at all
Of course being an old Dallas cowboys fan I root for Arlington, a team that plays exactly like them. Ugh FML
I wish the Rams were still in St. Louis, as I have missed seeing them play in 'The Dome'. But man-o-man is it good to see the city line up to watch ball! Games like this one are great. Football needs to stay in St. Louis.
I hope STL returns to the NFL
Way to go St Louis.
KAW IS THE LAW!
Great to see STL with a team and the great support the fans are giving their team. The NFL effed STL and I hope this league takes off. The games are fun to watch.
Bill Bidwell effed STL, Georgia Frontiere effed LA. Never forget that.
@@juicyfartsofjimcornette1154 But the NFL had veto power and we can add Ersay and his midnight move to the mix.
@@chasjacks9378 - Nevertheless, the Rams were NOT your team! And Cleveland abandoned them for the original Browns in 1946. They are L.A.'s team now. The Cardinals were your team after disgruntled Chicago Cardinal fans became Bear fans. Be grateful that Arizona has a World Series (and some Arena Bowls for whatever that's worth) in their cases. I'd rather see the BattleHawks become an NFL team and win a Lombardi before the traitors from Arizona get one first!
@Juicy Farts of Jim Cornette Thanks but I don't need a history lesson on the Chicago Cardinals and their travels.
You know what help this league a blitz the league style intro for each team
@ 6:30 👀 GYYYYYYATTTTT 🍑 THAT REF CAN THROW ME OUT THE GAME ANYTIME. MAAAAA GAWWWD
Man I hope I can get a team near my town. I'd love to have an XFL team to support. This league needs to succeed
The NFL needs competition... I hope XFL succeeds.
I wonder how many the attendance will be for their next home game VS the Defenders
Maybe more than 38,000?!
St Louis has the best fans! We show up!!!
We didn’t when the rams were bad
St Louis missed football and it showed with a packed house.
I'm glad they won but I l think the Battlehawks could have actually played better, I'm sure the huge turnout had an effect on them to. It can make players lose focus trying to pander to a fired up crowd
Battle for 2nd best team in my opinion Saint Louis that #2 team right now
In STL and the announcer said “it’s getting hot in hurr” if you don’t know the significant of that then you don’t know STL
Kaw kaw!! Way to go battlehawks!
Newest show on turf
I feel like Saint Louis wanted they own football team also just like Kansas City
“U-Turn on KingsHighway!”
Fun football is back
I'm more of a USFL guy but St Louis having a team is good to see. The other city that needs one is Louisville, hopefully one of these leagues pick up a team there.
i understand you like usfl, the only problem is most of the teams play in cities unrelated to their home city (houston gamblers, new orleans breakers, pittsburgh maulers, philadelphia stars, new jersey generals. etc) with the exception of a few teams, (Birmingham Stallions, Memphis Showboats, Michigan Panthers.)
I watch all the highlights but never catch a game.. these games have been entertaining
As an Arizona Cardinal fan I always wanted Hakeem to get his chance! After his injury his rookie year he just faded away 👎
It's so aggravating watching these Renegade games, knowing the offense is absolutely consistently terrible.
The Battle Hawks Fan Base is real KAW IS THE LAW
You tell that the Battlehawks were suited for war in this game.
The fans are rabid. Love it.
Glad the Dome is being put to good use rather than suffering the fate of Pruit Igoe.
This league is goin to be bigger n another year or so
W crowd
As a st. Louisan who was at this game, I honestly don’t want an NFL team. Just want to become the New York Yankees of the XFL and dominate 😂 KAKAWWWWW
What was the attendance? The stands look full from what could be seen in the video, St Louis really needed a football team to root for. Good job xfl this year this league is great.
From the people that were there, the final attendance count was around 38,310.
This crowd is tryna tell Goodell they want an NFL team (no disrespect to the Battlehawks).
STL has great fans
I'm happy for St. Louis after what the owner of the rams did and left the city.
It’s too bad the tv didn’t pick up the “fuck Stan kroenke” chants
The nfl will see this and have a team there within 3 years
This is so weird to me. And the stenciled "Battlehawks" on the end zone is so sad lmfao
Ca Kaw Ca Kaw
KAA KAWWWWW
they allow the players to play well aware of the consequences
the renegades logo makes no sense. its a fucking D mixed with R, someone forgot they are "arlington" now and not "dallas".
I think people forget how much st Louis loves football the rams won super bowls there the probably shouldn't of left
Our town is terrible when it comes to supporting football. Don’t let this game fool you.
@Jay Glenn nah, the cardinals sucked ass for decades and the rams quit on St Louis
Vander esch 👀👀👀
st louis dont care if its nfl xfl usfl etc.. they just want professional football back, and that is what the battlehawks have given them
