    • You wouldn’t want my castle, I inherited it from my father after some Italian American plumber defeated him in it to save some princess. The castle is full of soldier turtles, magician turtles, stone ghosts that drop from the ceiling, skeleton turtles that come back together after being defeated, pools of hot lava, spikes, perilous platforms, and more.

  • This is amazing. So beautifully decorated and it's not remotely pretentious or tacky unlike so many other castles seem to be. It's actually welcoming with a dreamy relaxing vibe instead of feeling like a museum piece. And that attic space with the rafters would make a killer art studio. I'm gonna check my bank account right now.

    • its not modern at all only the furniture is , they kept it complete and original, which is why i think it will sell at such a high price , fitting a modern kitchen into an acient castle does not mean its blended , they just did what was needed for how we live today but they have done nothing to change her really , just put makeup on a beautiful lady , even the paint is the colours they would have had and the paper too , they have done an amazing job if keeping her how she would have been , oh ok , i hadnot seen the swimming pool indoors , eeww thats so nouveau riche and tacky , yuck , most of us would have too much respect for our families old seat to do such a thing , if one of our castles had this done to it i would be so upset mind you , this could well be one of my families castles , uuuggghhh nouveau riche , disgusting , you can buy property but never taste

  • I grew up very close to this castle I drove past it every day on my way to work for years. As it has always been a private place we could only wonder about the changes they made a couple of years ago! So i was happy to be able to see the interior and see more than glimpses of what they did outside .

  • Beautiful and elegant. It was a pleasure to see. I love the spaces around the indoor pool. I really like the top floor. A lot of uses and possibilities with that. The historical background on the property must be very interesting. I liked seeing the inside of the towers. I hope the new owners are happy there. It is a very special amazing place!

    • The authentic look would have been better served with limestone mortar .This is authentic and very stylish .It enables a variety of textures and can be presented in a multitude of patterns.Furthermore heritage brick and stone is unable to breath with plaster facades which creates mould and causes the mortar holding the edifice to crumble over time.Its a crime not to preserve such a beautiful historical building.
