Theres more they could've done. 2 mins for Perry embelishing the high stick, he must've cut himself like a pro wrestler. 2 mins for unsportsmanlike conduct for Anderson scoring the Fleury giveaway because its mean and prolly hurt his feelings. And a 5 min game misconduct to Bergevin for having too much hair for his age.

Chris Lee had not reffed a Habs game since Aug 19/20, 5th game of MTL-PHI play-off series ..... where Niskanen crosschecked Gallagher to his mouth breaking teeth and his jaw. The refs (including Lee) missed that one too. #WhatAreTheOdds Knights' Jonathan Marchessault now being referred to as Jonathan Machete-Assault. LOL.

I agree the officiating in this series hasn't been the greatest. Hats off to the Habs. They aren't complaining and still have the drive and perseverance to pull through, and kill off every penalty. There's something special about the Habs. This series is by far their toughest challenge. If they manage to win this series, I can see them winning the cup.

There were TOO many cheap calls / missed calls from the refs tonight. So long that even the KZhead comments section character limit won't allow me to type them all. Armia was called for trying to avoid hitting a Vegas player from behind. The Refs WEREN'T calling boarding all series long. They didn't call it when Tuch ran a Habs player into the boards in Game 1. Now all the sudden, they decide to call one out of no where. Then a Vegas player lands a high hit on Suzuki, possible a head shot....No call. Then Webers gets called for a soft retaliation. Artturi Lehkonen doesn't get a powerplay for boarding / cross check when McNabb hits him from behind. Then all the sudden kasperi kotkaniemi for holding, when Max Pacioretty was LITERALLY grabbing kotkaniemi's stick!! Interference missed call in the last minute 3rd period. Intentional offside bullshit on the Habs in OT. I mean seriously...WTF... Intentional offside in a playoff OT game... Stone slash on Armia in OT. No holding / interference call on Suzuki in OT breakaway. High sticking on Vegas on Perry. (I guess when Vegas highsticks a player, it is just considered a slapshot for them). If you are gonna be calling soft penalties, thats fine. But you better do it for both sides and you better call every soft penalties. You can't just pick and choose which "soft" incident is worth a penalty. By the way, I believe Chris Lee is the same ref that didn't call the cross check on Gallagher's jaw last year...So no surprise that this was biased tonight. After all that, Vegas STILL managed to lose!

This Montreal Canadiens team absolutely deserved this win. Everything was stacked against them. Possibly the worst officiated game I have ever seen. As a bruins fan, my pick reluctantly ( being a B's fan) in the beginning of the year was Tampa Bay to win it all. ( still a great shot at that obviously.) I can't believe I'm saying this though. I hope Montreal takes the cup this year. Really enjoying the Islanders team as well, but this Montreal team isn't like years past. They have been the most ignored and underrated team throughout the playoffs and the last quarter of the regular season. Pulling for them, the team that is, the fans not so much, but they are due. lol

FLEURY and STAAL , I felt their pain.( as a lifelong hockey fan and player when I was young) They both love the game and play with passion. Nobody is perfect but these two guys give it their all and once in a while make a mistake. They leave it all on the ice . Thanks to player like them the game continues to be fun to watch. True sportsmen . And Anderson was a sportsman as well on his first goal and didn't try to rub it in Fleury's face which I have much respect for. His second goal , you can't blame a guy for that!!!!

I agree the officiating in this series hasn't been the greatest. Hats off to the Habs. They aren't complaining and still have the drive and perseverance to pull through, and kill off every penalty. There's something special about the Habs. This series is by far their toughest challenge. If they manage to win this series, I can see them winning the cup.

There were TOO many cheap calls / missed calls from the refs tonight. So long that even the KZhead comments section character limit won't allow me to type them all. Armia was called for trying to avoid hitting a Vegas player from behind. The Refs WEREN'T calling boarding all series long. They didn't call it when Tuch ran a Habs player into the boards in Game 1. Now all the sudden, they decide to call one out of no where. Then a Vegas player lands a high hit on Suzuki, possible a head shot....No call. Then Webers gets called for a soft retaliation. Artturi Lehkonen doesn't get a powerplay for boarding / cross check when McNabb hits him from behind. Then all the sudden kasperi kotkaniemi for holding, when Max Pacioretty was LITERALLY grabbing kotkaniemi's stick!! Interference missed call in the last minute 3rd period. Intentional offside bullshit on the Habs in OT. I mean seriously...WTF... Intentional offside in a playoff OT game... Stone slash on Armia in OT. No holding / interference call on Suzuki in OT breakaway. High sticking on Vegas on Perry. (I guess when Vegas highsticks a player, it is just considered a slapshot for them). If you are gonna be calling soft penalties, thats fine. But you better do it for both sides and you better call every soft penalties. You can't just pick and choose which "soft" incident is worth a penalty. By the way, I believe Chris Lee is the same ref that didn't call the cross check on Gallagher's jaw last year...So no surprise that this was biased tonight. After all that, Vegas STILL managed to lose!

This Montreal Canadiens team absolutely deserved this win. Everything was stacked against them. Possibly the worst officiated game I have ever seen. Unfortunately poor officiating is a part of Hockey. You must overcome it and they did. Habs continue to prove the naysayers wrong! I'm falling in love with this team and I'm not even a Habs fan.

I hope Montreal takes the cup this year. Really enjoying the Islanders team as well, but this Montreal team isn't like years past. FLEURY and STAAL , I felt their pain.( as a lifelong hockey fan and player when I was young) They both love the game and play with passion. Nobody is perfect but these two guys give it their all and once in a while make a mistake. They leave it all on the ice . Thanks to player like them the game continues to be fun to watch. True sportsmen . And Anderson was a sportsman as well on his first goal and didn't try to rub it in Fleury's face which I have much respect for. His second goal , you can't blame a guy for that!!!!
