We discovered a game-changing solution for enhancing the performance of your RV's air conditioning system with KoolRV (*Improved Efficiency by 44%). While not every RV is compatible, the innovative A/C Connect technology offers a cost-effective fix that revolutionizes cooling efficiency.
Let us talk about the KoolRV install. We faced the challenge of a shallow plenum box in our Winnebago Sightseer 35J, and the traditional aftermarket solutions fell short. Our DIY approach using 1" foam board showed improvement but left room for enhancement. That's when we discovered KoolRV. @koolrvinc Kool RV Improve AC
KoolRV A/C Connect vs. DIY
Through conversations with Don and Deanna at KoolRV, we found a solution that exceeded expectations. My easy modification of their A/C Connect for our shallow plenum box yielded remarkable results. Impressed by its effectiveness, we became affiliates for KoolRV, endorsing only products we trust and use ourselves.
If you're eager to conquer the summer heat and optimize your RV's A/C performance, click the link below to take the quiz and find the perfect A/C Connect for your unit. Fits most Coleman, Dometic, Furrion, and GE RV AC units.

  • Nice job! Always helpful to see what modifications others do when everything doesn't go exactly according to plan. I plan on buying one of these as soon as I can verify the exact AC model I have. Thanks for the video.

    • Thanks. The shallow plenum box that is used in Winnebagos did not allow us to try the first aftermarket AC solution so I went the the DIY approach using foam board. The DIY solution really made a difference, however, there was still some turbulence due to the design. I really wanted to try the AC Connect system since the air is directed into the tracks with pretty even air balance. Since there were ways I could modify the unit to fit our RV I decided to purchase one and give it a try. The price point was low enough that in case I could not get it to work no harm. Come to find out there is a pretty good return policy which I did not have to use. Take the quiz and you will be able to verify which unit you need. You can also contact KoolRV and they will assist you in selecting the right unit.

    • @@BoukenisAdventure Yeah, really seems like a no-brainer. Having the air channeled directly into the ducts has to be better than even the foam pieces. And at about 1/2 the price of the RV Airflow system, low risk. Thanks again.

  • Great job on the video, especially with your modification! This is definitely a product that I will look into! Thanks again!!

    • Thank you for the feedback. We are still learning how to create content. Since we live in South Texas and vacation in FL and AZ in the RV any way we can improve ac efficiency makes the entire family happy. When we go to American Paint Horse Association World Show in Ft Worth Texas it is usually around 110° during the day and we are parked on a large concrete parking lot at the arena. We are looking forward to a cooler horse show this year.

    • I would look to another product, CUST SVC is the absolute WORST, my product did not fit as they said it should have then when you have major issues they DON'T want to talk to you!!! Thats a FACT!!! email cust svc does not cut it especially when you are a supposed small company, NO EXCUSE....

    • @@meseahunt sorry that you had that experience. I cannot speak to any customer service issues. Besides the DIY solution using foam board, our shallow plenum has no other options available on the market. I purchased the A/C Connect because I was confident, I could modify the connect to work with our AC units. The DIY solution that I did a couple of years ago definitely made a difference in efficiency, cooling, and noise level. I was curious if the A/C Connect would increase airflow due to the ability to increase the volume of cold air return while also minimizing turbulence that was still occurring by trying to direct the air to the ducts with a V-shaped wedge. I did not have to deal with customer service since I spoke to them directly at the RV show and took a chance by purchasing the unit to see if I could make it work.

    • @@BoukenisAdventure main issue with product is it is NOT tested on each unit they say it is supposed to work on(obviously) I bet anything they NEVER installed it on my model!! If they had they would have NOT produced something that does NOT fit, not even close.... then some moron in cust svc who emails you want pics of thing you simply cannot do once inside the housing, so stupidity all around, it just makes you that more angrier than to start with, as well as NOT being able to complete the install w/o going to home depot and buy add parts.... it is a good concept just poor execution in some models(like mine) unfortunately... those owners better hope that we never meet at a show cause it will be one to remember if we do!!!

  • Thanks. KoolRV sent me to your video. I have a similar situation with the shallow space. So thank you! I also had to notch the ends of the duct adapters to get them to clear those metal tabs in the corners of the space. Did you have to do the same?

    @EverettOKeefeJ@EverettOKeefeJ17 күн бұрын
    • Not for the metal tabs. One end of the inserts is shorter than the other and was able to fit in the corners. Flip the unit around and try to see if you get the clearance that you need. Let me know if this is helpful.

  • You have an 8000 series Coleman Mach. Are sure it's not a Mach 3?

    • Yes, two 8000 series Powersaver came on our 2008 35J. I did not realize that I said, Mach 1, 3, & 15 in the video.
