I captured this video using my GoPro Hero 10 attached to my windshield driving down Main Street in Lewistown, Montana. Lewistown is the geographical center of Montana and has a population of around 6,000 people, the city was established in 1879 and has some historical buildings. I would have loved to capture this beautiful city with my drone, however with the Lewistown airport so close that was not an option. Then my brother Mike said why don’t you drive down Main Street with the GoPro, that is how this video came to be.   • In 1964 I was a security policemen in the 341st CDS Squadron at Malstrom AFB. On our way, from Malstron, to a Minuteman site east of Lewistown, we saw to USN sailors hitch hiking along the highway. Against all rulels and regulations I stopped and picked them up. They were two brothers heading home to Lewistown. I believe one was just discharged and the other was on leave. We shared stories about the Navy and Air Force for over an hour before we dropped them aaaat their parent's home. My recollection was it was somewhere on the NE side of town. I can only imagine what their parents must have thought seeing a big Air Force security truck pulling into their driveay and out came both of their boys. Over the years I have thought of them and wondered how their lives turned out. I hope well.

  • OMG, OMG! The downtown was it in the 1970s... OMG. I SHOULD HAVE STAYED THERE. I had met a girl there named Cathy. Her dad had just sold one ranch, And had 300 cows, and he wanted to see me... I left for miles... What a fool...I had been working down on the Judith, for the bar2C. What a STUPID kid I was. I'm so sorry. I have always thought of her. She cried when I left...
