  • i think the more trauma you experience, the stronger hold the ego has over you. the still small voice within or our conscious attention is always scanning for dangers like a radar. some people allow that voice to control their outlook, you have to escape this voice/thoughts as they can spiral and often be negative. you think about the past or future and your 'mind' if mentally unwell can go down rabbit holes and spin things in ways which are detrimental to your health. most philosophers suggest living in the present, having all of your attention on what you are doing so there is no time for negativity or thinking in your head. you are just in the moment and your problems cease to exist. being grateful for things is a good way to start softening the ego, as children we are trained, programmed into thinking we are somebody special. our minds can then expect things, or get 'jealous' when we don't have but others do, and cause resentment. you have to seek love and light, sounds corny but it is true. could ramble on writing a load of confusing thoughts but it's best to seek the professionals i guess. the buddhist path is quite a nice one whilst i learnt a lot listening to Alan Watts and Ram Das. keep doing what you're doing. you are so funny, it is great when you see a beautiful girl with so much character and life force, not caring how she looks, making herself look silly etc. i am envisaging big things for you, if you keep at it, success is sure to come. p.s. i hate your boyfriend

    • You are so right! you have so much knowledge I am so happy and grateful you are sharing your true wisdom! and it's not corny at all, this is how we should live, but as you said most of us are being negatively controlled by our ego. And I agree with you in saying that because kids think they are special they can get jealous and even remember this moment negatively forever, this is why it's important to teach that losing at something is not a negative thing, it's just how life works, and just won't take it personally. And yeah I believe that writing a load of confusing thoughts can lead you to magical places in your mind and soul, but if a person has never done that before is better to go to a professional too as you said. It is amazing that you are interested in the Buddhist path, and wow I have never heard about Ram Das, I will listen to him today, thank you It was amazing to read and learn from you! Thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciate your kindness, your time, your knowledge, and your support. You are a sign to me to keep going! I wish you an amazing day, week, and life, smile every day, and keep believing in the good things as you do because you deserve to live your best life with the kindness you spread! Thank you, thank you, thank you❤❤❤❤ P.S. Why??? 😂
