  • I get it now. In the end, her friends were long gone, but their memories kept her going. As she gave up, so did the mountain, but then the memories of the people that she met kept her going and pulled her to her destination, and only at the end did she realize she did all that by herself. She went on a quest for a cure, when she never needed one in the first place. She had the will to do anything all along, she just didn't realize it until her friends showed her the way.

  • It's pretty cool. I've noticed the weather reacts to her actions and emotions. When she gets bit, a bolder falls, when she breathes, the trees sway, when she sneezes, the wind blows, when she's sick from the spider bite, the mountain is in catastrophe, and when she sweats, it starts raining. Enjoyed the video well done.

  • My interpretation (before reading any comments): The road is the true 'content' of life, not the peak - our dream or target. We can heal ourselves (our souls?) just by following the road towards something, the final goal isn't always the actual solution.

  • I think this was about how we should finish our goals in life. In the beginning she made the plan to go up the mountain and find that plant. But as she walked further up she started to party with the other creatures, causing her to become distracted and forgetting what she came there to do. So she became more sick and didn't have to motivation to finish, not until her friend came and reminded her of what she came there to do. But that's just my interpretation of it

    @groowy2662@groowy26627 жыл бұрын
    • That was what I thought too. I was scrolling to see if anyone thought the same because I didn’t agree with the other more popular interpretations of it. It’s really all up to the viewer to decide what it means.

  • I came across your work after the adventure time episode you and your team made. I can see why they asked you to portray Finn and Jake in Claymation. Your mix of cartoonist whimsy with darker undertones has the same kind of emotional impact that is found in some of my favorite episodes of adventure time. I can't wait to see more of your future work and I hope the adventure time team asks you to collaborate more in the future.

    • @@Kate-kz2vv yes!!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed 🥰. I was shocked because I knew Julia Pott has used the character before in multiple of her own works, but I found this collab while looking up the artist who did the trippy video with the character with the butt who draws the viewer and says nice things, so I was watching this one because of that. Then I saw Oscar with his distinct eye design and I thought "no way... could it be?!" And that when I checked the description and saw Julia Pott was credited! Small world! **edit** okay the one I awkwardly described is called "Hi Stranger" 😂. I saw it a couple years ago when it went viral.

  • New(ish) Kirsten! Really should have watched this already. Exquisite, and perfectly-suited to the haunting, minimalist soundtrack. I do wonder whether the girl was dead before she came to Move Mountain, or if she died somewhere along the climb. And whether she was the same person as the male figure. An enigmatic and wonderful piece of work. Worth watching several more times just to analyze the various fascinating and disturbing figures in the wild rumpus scene. Am I correct in thinking that the central characters, and the mountain itself, were made of actual clay, at least in some shots? Very impressive. Also the trees were made of bendy straws. That made me happy. Ten thumbs up. And five tubs of popcorn.

I want to create stuff like this some day. I have so many ideas, and I could create everything I could ever want to right now, right here, in the comfort of my own home. I think everyone looks at it from their own experiences in life.. for me it was very clear that he came to her when she was hurt, and helped her to heal, then he showed her the way to hel herself and took her to this party people. They were fun at a moment but when the party was done she was again alone, and her wound was not trudly heal by him, it was just a relief at the moment. So she had to find the way on her own to heal herself and the memories of the people she met followed her along.. at the end she comes to the cure but its not longer necessary because the way healed her by being strong and keep running..

  • This video was about keeping healthy, right? Because when she was earing well and running around the blood was pumping on the mountain and the rivers were running, but when she partied and wasnt exercising, she started dying. But when she started running again, she got healthy. Just my thought

  • Ez interpretation from my side. People seem to only concentrate on minor problems. But you mostly can only solve them when you get rid of the big one. In this case the bite ( maybe symbol for bad streets in a country) is the small problem and all the people concentrate on that one and become blind whats really happening. (thats why the bite gets worse). Meanwhile everything around them gets destroyed. ( for instance global warming ) but they were blind. One day they wake up and all get their shit together and push themselves to solving the BIG problem by helping each other, and meanwhile they realise that the street problem wasnt really relevant anyhow so the bite disappears.

  • When i was a kid i made stop motion animation. Kind of moved to Austin and gave up on everything. Attempted suicide this year and my dad got cancer and recovered and i also had a really embarrassing mental break that was public and embarrassed me to the entire community. It was pretty awful. Now I am hiding out in my apartment all day or going out with my treatment people. This shortfilm helped bring me back from the dead. Nobody reads comments ever but thanks for making this. Sincerely, Garrett of Austin Texas
