I agree with you to an extent. The problem being there were two offers for (2) fight deals. I believe bivol is equal or if anything harder than charlo but remember its a (2) fight decision. If bivol indeed is harder than charlo there still is benevidez. Canelo might have picked the harder route for one fight but he knows he has triple g after. Which most of his stans believe lost to canelo twice. If triple g couldnt get the win ( which he did win one of them) the first two fights, the odds for an older tripple g looking good enough to win another decision is bleek. Look at the bigger picture. The main thing is we as fans want canelo to fight charlo, david and andrade. All other fighters other than those three really dont deserve a fight with canelo so fans or stans can say what they want about there always being a fighter thinking they deserve a fight with canelo but it dont matter. Im just glad canelo is finally stepping up to fight challenges. Remember a few months ago his stans were trying to justify him fighting a nobody ( wackabo) even though he was just looking for a payday and caenlo looking for a guaranteed win. Remember stans you can be a fan of someone and still hold them accountable… doesnt make you a hater. Apply the same logic you would if your favorites team head coach made a stupid decision in a game. Andrade may be a more technically sound fighter, but I will not pay to watch his lackluster fights. If none of the Champions at 160 accepted a unification fight between themselves, why not move up to challenge 1 of the 4 Champions at 168 prior to Alvarez becoming undisputed champion? Andrade, Charlo and GGG didn't feel the need to add championships at a higher weight class. They all want to wait for a paycheck for fighting Alvarez

I believe its going to be a good fight. Dmitry is going to get his chin tested in this fight. I see a knockout in Canelo's favor. I've never seen Canelo hurt or get knocked out and neither will come at the hands of Dmitry. His awkward fight style will give Canelo problems for the first couple rounds, but after that...its lights out.

This guy has the best long range work I’ve seen in a long time!
The worst thing one can possibly do to someone who's currently learning a foreign language like Bivol is commenting on their progress. Even if it's meant to be a compliment like what the interviewer said to Bivol about his English gotten better. You can see Bivol immediately lost the confidence and deferred to his interpreter afterwards. Don't remind them that they're still learning the language and they'll be more confident and therefore able to speak it more naturally. I know this from first hand experience.
This is a much harder fight, if understand how he fight, he has a great jab, really good footwork for a 175, impeccable measure of timing, accuracy and distance, great 1,2 and 5 and 6 straight punch combos can outbox any fighter in the world today. Great fight!

The amount of respect to his sport and to himself and his opponent in every statement is to be emulated. Canelo did well for himself to fight such a respectable opponent - no matter what the outcome, both boxers will be greater after this match.
Bivol is very well spoken. The question about what can he bring that Canelo hasn't seen, he's seen it all. Bivol will need to box and move laterally, something that he doesn't do because frankly he doesn't need to. I'm genuinely excited for this fight.
