First let me say that I like the idea of you doing the creator hacks to see if the products work or not. Second we don't really know if Glamzilla actually did something to her lips before she did that video in real time. She could have sprayed her lips before or something. Who knows. Third I think that some person just need to humble themselves because what might work for 1 person, may not work for another. Ok but no one is talking about how that it is a scam she used liquid. Liquid lipsticks are known to dry and be transfer proof. A lot of liquid lipstick formulas are like that. So of course once u apply it it’s gonna transfer cause it’s still wet. Just wait like 2 to 3 min it becomes transfer proof. She made it seem like it was the spray. I caught that And I’m not even a makeup artist lol seasoned makeup users who use liquid lipstick should of clocked that lol she out here lyin 😂
Maybe if the lipstick is a matte finish and not really glossy? I use the spray all the time and my lips and liner don't really move.
The way she rushed to blot that matte liquid lipstick before it dried so it would leave a mark! 😂 girl you not fooling anyone! 😂🤣

Liquid lipstick doesn’t transfer when it dries tho
The Fenty velvet Matts are not a traditional liquid lipstick. They’re more cushiony and moisturizing than a liquid lipstick so it would transfer.
I’m not a glamzilla fan at ALL however…the fenty lipstick she’s using is a dry matte formula and the other girl used a cream lipstick so they will have different finishes and wear power in the first place. Setting spray and how it affects my lipsticks doesn’t really concern me. I know I’m going to have to reapply and honestly I like the freshness of blotting off and reapplying throughout the day.
I would love 2 see videos like that, putting influencers 2 the test.
While I'd love if my regular lipsticks stayed put without transfer, there is no way in hell I'd spray my lips with setting spray. However, I do appreciate your honesty and demonstration Tim !
You should totally do your idea that you said about a TikTok series (and put them up here for Shorts) that calls out "hacks" . Even if a lot of people didn't leave too many comments about it, you are such a good creator to begin with that I can see it gaining views quickly [especially if you tag it right and all that, you know?] Take the leap with your ideas and I think you'll have success. You did it with your podcast and it's great! :3
I’m not sure why Glamzilla was so annoyed about being called out by another influencer when she never actually did a step by step of how to do this hack until after she was called out.
I think your idea is a good idea, maybe for the makeup hacks and not necessarily the makeup items so you don't get yourself in a financial hole! 😊

I’m confused. Doesn’t a liquid lipstick dry down matte? Why would it need to be sealed with a setting spray? Wouldn’t it be transfer proof on its own?? Glamzilla is INSANE 😂
I don't wear very much makeup so i dont really do the whole makeup influencer thing nor do I care for glamzilla but I just wanna say that just because the hack doesn't work for you, doesnt make the person giving the hack a liar. There's no need for that.
I think had she just said it didn't work for her there would be no reaction video. & Let's be honest anyone will get defensive being called a liar. Also she'd be more believable if she tried different lipsticks not just the velvet one from Fenty.
She also used a liquid matte lipstick so that could be the reason as wssll
She reapplied the lipstick AFTER she blotted. Of course it didn’t work for her.
In my opinion, it's on Matte liquid lips that probably would help that " transfer proof "
I hate the scent of the Onesize spray. Maybe it only works on liquid lipsticks which don’t have much transfer. She didn’t let the liquid lipstick dry down

Glamzilla really and genuinely said "I'm following you, can't wait to see" as in "b!tch, I got my eye on you now", in my humble opinion. And controversies aside, I genuinely enjoy Stephanie, she's beautiful AND funny. And generous. (Whether it's intended to promote one of her products or not, she does like handing out gift cards and that's generous, especially now.) But I'm not . . . Pleased, I guess, with that remark.
i think its the lipstick. if its a matte formula it will work. im not talking about liquid matte b/c of course you dont need a stray for that but those dryer lipsticks it will work on. i tried it with my mac ruby woo and fenty and it worked.

I remember my older cousins doing this ‘hack’ with Aqua Net in the 90s. It ‘works’ better with matte lipstick and they would use very light pressure when drinking, eating etc. Maybe she was using very light pressure? PLEASE AVOID IF YOU SMOKE!!!

The problem with a hack like this, it seems like it could be based on formula. Like you said, maybe it works for Glamzilla with the ones she tried it with (doubt it, but giving the benefit of doubt). BUT she’s claiming it’ll work with ANY red lipstick and maybe she’s only ever tried it with the 2 she showed on video or a handful of others but not every red lipstick (not that most people would). But to claim it FOR SURE works with ANY red lipstick instead of just being like, dang, sorry it didn’t work for you…maybe it has to do with the formula but for me it’s worked with x, y, z, etc. ones. That’s not that hard. But Glamzilla, as usual, can’t be wrong…. 🥴

Powder sets cream products and setting spray is made to set your powder products. You might be able to use it with just a matte foundation but that’s about it.

Glamzilla, unfortunately, has made me unsubscribe from her channels /medias. Things have gotten away from the love of everything beauty and enhancing one's beautiful features. Completely turned off!
