1:32:06 I actually saw a rainbow during my legacy challenge, after my sim had tried so many times to get pregnant, and then finally she did. On the night the baby was born another rainbow appeared. So, I named the baby a rainbow-inspired name. I felt like she had finally gotten what she wanted. Four days later she turned into an elder. She raised her toddler by herself since her husband passed away. **I always play on normal lifespan but I was so busy putting their lives together that I didn't start trying for a baby until adulthood. Inevitably it took almost her entire adult years until she got pregnant. Her husband was older and died before her. It was sad.

Gay marriage has only been legalized on the federal level in the US for 6 years, and there's plenty of discrimination against queer people in general, including those who are parents. We still have a lot of work to do.

Adventure-land is amazingly spooky! It was probably a try-out city for the developers when they worked on world adventures, that somehow was released into the actual game, and it only contains TWO sims... it also has "homeless" sims, though, but from the start, there's only two sims living there... I've goofed around a but in it, but I'm not completely sure what to do in it... people it with simbots...? Anyone else who has done something fun in there?

It’s actually the try out city for the developers for world adventure, and any other testing that they needed to do. It was released with Origin, and they weren’t actually suppose to include the city in it, but did so by accident. So you were pretty close.

i'm so happy she picked hidden springs! i'm on my 5th gen of my legacy, and i've been moving my sims to a new town every 1.5 to 2 gens and i just finished my rounds in hidden springs and seeing this made me realize how much of a special connection i've formed with the town and a number of the sims moreso than any other town i've played in ts3 (been playing since 2012) :') and an interesting tidbit about my game, after i'd been playing for a while i checked on minzi cho's family and nraas like made her like? disappear and be completely locked and irretrievable? and therefore was permanently marked as a toddler despite the fact that at the time she would've probably been an adult 😧 super strange

I started this challenge recently and in mine I had to marry someone with children. I tried to get a single dad but he had commitment issues and refused to date my sim… and then got married the next day haha. So naturally I became a home wrecker and stole Minzi Cho’s dad. She’s a cute sim.

Sooo... I don't know if anyone explained it later on in the stream, but just in case no one did: Your NRaas settings didn't work because they were reset/ undone right after when you clicked "continue without saving" when going to "Edit Town". You should have saved first!

This is gonna sound random af but one thing I do like about TS4 that TS3 doesn’t necessarily do, is being able to have like “aspirations” to work towards as a kid and teen. It used to bum me out that I had to wait until my sims became a young adult to pick their lifetime aspirations and stuff. One aspect though about this and TS3 that was cool though, is if you’re child sims really get into something, painting for example, one of their “dreams” (mini wishes that you can work towards, idk what they’re called), they can have one of the dreams be an aspiration sometimes so you can get a head start so to speak on that sims aspiration. Idk if I made sense, most peeps probably already know about this feature but I’m playing TS3 again and I forgot about this feature until my child plantsim was playing soccer and wanted to then become a professional athlete lmao 😂

You know how bad I want to play the sims 4 or even 3, me and my fiancé moved and my computer broke in the process so all of my games are gone unless I get the from the hard drive, I really can’t afford a computer right now specially since me and my fiancé are renovating our house. You know how bad I want to play the sims 4 or even 3, me and my fiancé moved and my computer broke in the process so all of my games are gone unless I get the from the hard drive, I really can’t afford a computer right now specially since me and my fiancé are renovating our house.
