UPDATE FROM THE METACRITIC FRONT: As the first kindles of daylight pierce the cold night, driving the Moon back below the Castle, a based peace descends upon our fair land. Gran Turismo 4 has claimed its rightful place at the top of the User Reviews list with a proud 9.0 rating. Rejoice brothers and sisters and rest easy, for our day of reprieve is at hand. Burnout 3: Takedown: not in this household....
LETS GOOOOO
Just a reminder that GRID and Dirt 2 ist not even in the list, I'm not hinting at anything btw *cough*
@@bruce_pain or dirt at all, the first game was already crazy good and went far too unnoticed, at least it took me far too long to learn about it. Parallel lines should have been on the top 40 imo.
It's criminal that the Motorstorm series, Blur, and Ridge Racer 7 aren't being in the top 100, at least Split/Second is rising up
fr, disappointed that Pacific Rift is nowhere to be seen
Still talk about motor storm every time racing games are mentioned
Race Driver Grid should be in this list imo
Blur is so underrated, I have in my ps3, and it’s sick
Blur is so criminally underrated, I wish I still had the PS3 copy of it
That movement for GT4 at the end was purely epic!
I wrote a review for Gran Turismo 4 on November of 2021, saying it was a disservice that it was robbed from the "Must Play" badge by ONE MEASLY POINT. Seeing it get the love it deserves and it now being the player's consensus best racing game of all time makes me happy...even if it took dozens, if not, hundreds to vouch for it. It was my comfort game from my childhood 🙂
Tryng to compete with GT4 back in the day was the hardest most titanic task to take, to the point that the only competitor who persevered was Forza Motorsport because they were making stuff that was advanced for the time, so much in fact that GT5 and 6 feel closer to Forza Motorsport physics-wise than they do to GT4.
I am playing it right now, and i must say, it has one of the best progression of everything. It s like Pro Street, but better. It s on par with TDU. It s the Gothic of the racing games.
Gameplay - 10 Graphics - 10 1/10 too much sand - Ign
It's time for another rollercoaster of emotion from our perspective, well sort of thanks to Metacritic
What makes Metacritic bad in this case is that it doesn't filter out games that have probably 5 reviews or so, that's why there's so many niche titles in this. That's why when you can see a shift from one rating to another, like from 8.8 to 8.9, you go from a plethora of GOATs to something... not crappy, but out of place for sure. If there was a rating based on some kind of ration between positive reviews and the actual amount of them, that would probably give a better indication.
Also worth noting most of the ranking is just ties anyway. It's not like NFSU>NFSU2>NFSMW, it's just that they have the exact same score. EDIT: I said this but on a second thought IDK if metacritic stores a more "granular" score its based on and it just displays up to the first decimal in the inferface
@@Eichro I'd argue that they are not exactly ties. What you can observe is that the more popular titles seem to be on top of their rating groups, so my guess would be that they sort it by rating first, but then, if the rating is equal, they sort it by the amount of reviews. Obviously that's a guess, but seems probable.
MC User score is even WORSE, gets biased from review bombing. At least on steam it has an overall to help mitigate them
On the other hand, if the rating was weighted by number of reviews, then almost exclusively popular titles would be at the top, and ALL those under-the-radar gems would be pushed even further into the shadows. Overall, review rankings suck A bunch of Xbox users can go bomb Gran Turismo with low scores just to spite. A bunch of Playstation users can go bomb Forza with low scores just to spite. A bunch of Nintendo users will give max scores to every Mario Kart even if it's shit simply because they love Nintendo and anything they produce. But that's just users. For "professional" critics, the same thing applies but also they are frequently given bonuses and are paid by companies to give higher scores. It's all some heavy bias or another. Best thing you can do is find one or two, maybe a handful of people out there, whether professional critics or youtubers or whatever, who will give honest and detailed reviews. Find someone you feel you can trust, not just someone who will validate your favorites or their own.
@@insoporous9978 this should honestly be the pinned comment. It would be nice for a group of racing gamers with respectable and well thought out opinions to put a rankings list together. Guys like Whitelight, or car guys like That Dude in Blue, Bladed Angel etc. who will go back to older titles and experience as much of the game as possible to form solid opinion.
It's insane how dustin makes such content and how good james is at editing over 1 hour videos at such insane rate, what a combo.
Yeah, James' edits it's so blend in with Dustin's style, I hope he'll get 1k this year!
Road trip adventure is amazing, top 10 still seems a bit of a surprise tho. Racing aspect is a bit rough but it's a full open world adventure game filled with all sorts of fun stuff.
And its also based on the Choro Q line of toy cars made by the people that made Tomica
It’s possibly my favourite game of all time, I still find myself going back to it, Choro Q is another game from the series with an absolutely hilarious story line where your best friend dies and you avenge him by becoming president of the world, it’s even more ridiculous than it sounds 11/10 RECOMMEND Cars speak in hilarious broken English, one of the best exploration / side hustle games of all time, customisation is unmatched, Easter eggs galore, random 1 off occurrence events, near impossible to complete 100%, Road Trip has an endless globe map, I could seriously go on all day, even more games in the series but Roadtrip #1 Choro Q #2 !!! They are far from ‘perfect’ but OMG the charm that comes with exactly that is simply one of a kind
Child hood memories from this game
Probably also worth mentioning that the game has plenty of performance upgrades and the gameplay shown was, like...literally mom's minivan-tier starter performance. Not saying the racing itself suddenly becomes amazing, but it does get much better. Easily one of my favorite games and criminally underappreciated. The exploration, the collecting, the just...weird quirkiness of Choro-Q can't really be matched and I'm sad they don't make these games anymore.
bump, Road Trip was the shiet diverse biomes, creative tracks (especially towards the later half of the game), a basic basebuilding system and so much exploration to do tho ill agree it dont belong in the top 10 racing games. its more of a CarPG if anything
That speech at the end for Gran Turismo 4 brought a tear to my eye 👏
The Power is on our hands as well-deserved user
downhill domination? HELL YEAH!! this game really is one of my favorite racing games on ps2 and my only favorite bike racing game. it is reminding me playing this game with my friends if we get bored with bully, gta and other racing games
Same. Downhill Domination was my jam and quite popular in Indonesia, especially they play the game not to race but to punch the biker XD Since this game is made by the same studio who made Original God of War
@@ReiSyre62 hiyyakkk ketauan dri indonesia hwahwhahahah

@@okeydokey_oh ada Indonesia Cuy 😁🖱️💻
@@wibs0n68 really? I never play or listen the soundtrack of Downhill since it's not my necessity or reason to play the game. The only time I played Downhill is just because the cheat codes and seeing character trailer PV
Just by looking at footage of CTR i totally understand why people would question why it is first, but the gameplay itself is really, really good. The handling and the physics are incredible on the PS1 and the game offers variety and a lot of fun with or without friends. Should it be first? Probably not, but it does belong on this list for sure.
It's even more wild when you realize it was Naughty Dog's first time making a kart racer, a racing game in general. And they completely nailed it so hard on the first time. The remake is amazing as well. It respects the skill-based aspects of the original and even improves upon it by making the visual telegraphs of boosting easier to see.
nah man I'd say ctr (more so for nitro fueled) should be in the top 10 as the gameplay depth in ctr is insane (just look at the time trials man)
Definitely deserves a spot in the list, but i don't know if it does for number 1
Game play beats all, and CTR's boost and driving mechanics are just top tier.
1:02:18 Gran Turismo 4: "there's more sand" has the same energy as Pokemon OR/AS: "too much water"
Crash Team Racing very much deserved to be at the top, sigma men today embodies Crash's racing dna ever since they started walking, running over crates and commited vehicular manslaughter is the life, the childhood nostalgia for the game filled my life with joy until the present day. Why be an italian plumber when you can be your very spirit animal, hands down *THE BEST GAME EVER*

Road trip being top 10 is extremely based, my childhood. Totally deserves it
Road Trip deserves Number 1 imo
Let's go man. Most people on this planet wouldn't get it but this is not just a great driving game, it is a fantastic video game, period. The amount of heart and soul put into that game alone will easily overwhelm you. God I hope it makes a comeback one day.
Road Trip on PS2 is originally named Choro Q HG2 in Japan, and Choro Q(apperantly it's called Penny Races in US) is very famous pull back mini car in Japan.
ChoroQ/Road trip are GOD TIER GAMES. Absolutely fun with unique maps, fun tracks, a racing team system and unique parts to unlock by talking to different cars across the maps. The game had so much personality and soul! The mini games were spectacular, the photo shops and stamps made the game really worth trying for 100%, the music (specifically peach radio) was bomb.. oh and my gosh the parts and bodies you can get were so awesome. The passion of the devs were great! For a game you can get for $5 in the 00's it was an ultimate time waster. Absolutely deserving of top ten truly. I got my steam deck just for PS2 Emulator to play it on the go 😂 Also the open world was GIANT. Great time.
I honestly wish they made another Road trip in that style, couldn’t get into chroro q as much! Imagine a modern version with a bigger map etc. wouldn’t be as limited as forza on graphics so better open world! Also enjoyed seek and destroy honestly (not a car game but still fun)
The scope of the open world is more impressive when you consider how small the dev team was along with their lower budget. It's fairly empty in the places they don't expect you to explore yeah. But there are zero invisible walls, the ocean floor is completely modelled, and you cross the edge of the world you even get looped around to the other side like if it was a planet.
Didn’t they make like 5 games with the same name, some of them were really sh!t too I remember, the one without a open world.
@@Journey_Awaits The naming scheme for the franchise is infamously bad & inconsistent when it got localized into North America & Europe. In Japan the names were straightforward, the PS2 era games being referred to as Choro Q HG 1 through 4. The games typically switched devs between each one hence the differences in gameplay style or quality. HG1 / Gadget Racers (NA) / Penny Racers is a normal track racer, it's pretty mid. HG2 / Road Trip (NA) / Road Trip Adventure (EU) The fan favorite w/ it's open world & a bunch of stuff to do. HG3 / Gadget Racers (EU) Direct sequel to Road Trip by the same devs. They made improvements to certain parts from the last. Didn't come out in America despite already being translated into English in Europe. HG4 / Choro Q (NA/EU) Called the Japanese name for some reason. From the devs who made HG1, it adopts more of an RPG style with a large emphasis on a storyline. No real open world but there are multiple towns you can explore. The most egregious naming example is in Europe. There's both a PS2 and GameCube game named Gadget Racers with the SAME COVER. If you didn't know any better you'd think it was multiplatform, but no it's two completely different games.
Let's go man. Most people on this planet wouldn't get it but this is not just a great driving game, it is a fantastic video game, period. The amount of heart and soul put into that game alone will easily overwhelm you. God I hope it makes a comeback one day.
I know you said F Zero is a bit before your time, and that you don't care much for hover racing games, but F Zero GX is legitimately one of the greatest racing games ever made. Once you get used to the physics and speed, there's nothing else quite like it. The sense of speed is unmatched by anything else I've played. It's also brutally hard too, but that's part of the fun :)
Test Drive Overdrive from 2002 is an absolute classic must play for all the arcade racing lovers
Road trip adventures gave me memories
UPDATE: GT4 is, right now, the BEST racing game of all time, based on the User Score. Great job gamers!

I'm just amazed by road trip adventure being not only in the list, but the in the top 10. hahaha
the MX vs ATV franchise had some really good physics for the time, I believe the devs were involved in the similar realistic feeling early PC game Motocross Madness (Microsoft mxgame from Midtown Madness franchise...)
I'm so happy Sonic Rider: Zero Gravity made it onto the list. I farmed the hell out of that game with my cousin on the PS2 back in the day. Good freaking times.

No Blur and no Driver is actually crazy. Also wish my guilty pleasure of crazy taxi was on here but I get why it isn't.
Wow, you featured KamikazeGames, cool.
Throwing my hat into the ring regarding Road Trip Adventure. The best way to describe the game is a standard (if basic) JRPG with cars. You can partner up with other racers and pool winnings (basically an adventure party), complete minigames and discover secrets, get photographed at a bunch of locations, and other activities. While the graphics have definitely aged (it works better on a blurry tv compared to the crisp emulated output), it still is a good game to go through. It also is one of the few games I have on my phone to play using an emulator.
Diddy Kong Racing might actually be underrated. There are so many underlying mechanics and techniques in the game, which 99% of players don't know about which make the game so unique and Gameplay a blast 😊
Crash team racing is the ultimate W, it has insane depth
Yeah, it literally has its own dedicated page for speedruns and explanation of mechanics. Is far from being your typical kart racer which many wouldnt understand by just looking at a youtube video. CTR at times feels like a kart racer mixed with an actual racer. And there is even a remake of that game. If CTR doesnt deserve top 10 then there is something wrong with this world.
Well after this video his chat review bombed it down to 13th so rip
@@ziggle5000 Idiots basically.
@@ziggle5000 Why would they do that?
21:13 I always have to think of the hydro thunder arcade game for some reason everytime I see a speed boat in an arcade racer.
So happy tokyo xtreme racer zero is ranked high. It built upon 2, and made it so much better, especially the ost. For some reason it just feels so much more replayable than 3
FINALLY NOT THOSE REVIEWERS WHO ONLY PLAYED MOBILE GAMES. *watches video and saw nfs and gt3 at 101 and 102* -oh no
CTR is my GOAT, I replayed way more than any racing game, mostly because I wanted to unlock every hidden character, the fun factor was just perfect, the tracks were amazing, OST is iconic. It had most of Mario Kart's aspects but with Marvel Vs Capcom's replayability.
I somewhat agree CTR is the GOAT 😂 it brings me memories for fun multiplayer with my sister. Maybe that's why CTR is the best? Comfy sofa kart racing with carnage style added (if you play with your friend)
damn, what's with the Road Trip Slander. Yes it might looked scuffed but boy is it charismatic as shit. And a open world I don't mind just driving around. Can't forget about the mini games
Freekstyle be good af, i remember playing it with my friends on the ps2.
PS3 version of Daytona USA is arcade-accurate and runs like butter on rpcs3. Needs some specific settings to run without graphical glitches but it works like a charm.
LETS GOOOO. Saw your first Ranking video man. Loved it man. Happy to see part two man ❤
If Big Rigs and Desert Bus is not on this list then it is wrong.
The whole time I was waiting for CTR to appear and gave up hope in the top 20 ngl. I'm so happy to see where it went. Also, if you're in the comments before watching the video spoilers are on you :D. I loved that game. The concept of the fruit changing / upgrading your weapons, the story mode, all of it was fantastic. Had a great time trial mode. I am so happy to see it topped the list.
Thx for all your content broski! I've learned things about games and discovered ones I had no idea existed! Thx for all the hard work dude!
Road Trip being top 10 might be a stretch, but for real, it's based to give it that kind of recognition. I really think you should check out it and maybe some of the other ChoroQ games. Yes they're low-budget games and stuff like physics and AI are quite lacking, but they just have so much creativity and personality to them. Downhill Domination even counting as a racing game when the SSX franchise doesn't makes zero sense and that's not on anyone but Metacritic themselves. They're the same thing, so either they're both racing games or they're both sports games like SSX.
atv offroad fury 4 its just great, "interesting carrer mode" a lot of bikes, atvs, buggys and trucks, those "rally/dakar" maps were amazing when i was a child, also looks cool por a ps2 game, i love it
Road Trip in #8??? EXTREMELY BASED No but for real Eden, poorly-aged art style and handling aside, it's a game worth visiting for a video. It's appeal is more in the exploration aspect. Going on a "road trip" to navigate the open world, visit several towns, talk to the cars that inhabit them to potentially recruit for your race team & even participate in races for progression. Though if you do play it, word of advice: immediately purchase steering wheels in the parts shop, as that'll improve steering angle.
Just came out!? I just watched the other 2 days ago. Never even heard of this channel until now. Loving it lol
Yay, been waiting for this second part to come out :D
The ending is PURE GOLD!
Shoutout to Freekstyle making the list. Great memories with that game.
YES! CTR is of ALL the games, my favorite. I even have tattoos of It ❤
I love how mixed the user reviews are. man some people have some sh$t taste.
Commenting again for you to try Supercar Street Challenge, I don't hear of many people revisiting this early PS2 launch title. It was PGR style street racing with some licensed supercars but had this cool mechanic where you were a supercar designer trying to compete to create the fastest machine. You unlocked various parts/designs throughout the career. Not sure of how dated the graphics and physics may be but the car creator was kinda cool.
Never heard of that game but it sounds really similar to a game called Racing Evoluzione on the original Xbox where you were also a car designer and would race these really over the top looking concept cars against real production cars
I played Supercar Street Challenge a lot when I was kid, really cool game. This was in the early 2010s though so I was a bit behind games wise XD
Downside is physical copies rarely work anymore being on blue CDs and all. :/
I played that game soo much when I was a kid, core memory of hauling through Munich with the F100, and my supercar was a monstrosity on wheels, but I loved it. Goooooood times.
@@MedicalBillz That track gave me a burning hatred for the city of Munich. I swear every corner was a trap
CTR and Burnout 3 on the top 2? Couldn't have asked for better... well, I'd swap the original CTR with CTR Nitro Fueled but still. I assume the reason it wasn't on this list is because it was review bombed after MTX were added to the game. Regardless, it's very cool to see my 2 most favorite racing games of all time be the people's choice as well!
Gba racing games be crazy, a rabbit hole in of itself. There's like this one hot wheels game on it where it's 3D low poly, though it's a relatively simple game but it's kinda cool
Did anyone ever play Groove Rider? Feel like I never see anyone mention it, not that it deserves to be in the top 100.
Me seeing Road Trip(one of the most underrated racing games) get top 10 with a 8.9 score: 😃 Me looking at the list today, 2 days after this video, seeing it drop to #93 with a 8.4 score: ☹️ Seriously though, I bet that atleast 4-5 of those 8 negative reviews were from people on here who don't know anything about the game. Atleast to me(in which, allot agree apparently), Road Trip is easily a top 30 racing game, it's just so underrated! It's just saddening to see a game that doesn't deserve to get "review bombed" get it's score lowered because a streamer, and his chat, judged a game on a little bit of gameplay.
Exact same reaction as me man, now its barely in the top 100🥲 such good memories from that game!
@@HaakonNerbyAlthough I think top 10 was a bit of an overrate, I think Road Trip should be roughly top 20/top 30.
@@thecrk9201 top 10 is definately to high yeah, haha. I was honestly surprised to even find it in the top 100, let alone in the top 10. I wonder if road trip adventure is the first game to have a car soccer mode in 3D in it and if psyonix took inspiration from it when they made sarpbc and later rocket league?🤔
The main issue with metacritic reviews is that the score does NOT takes into account the number of reviews. So a mobile game can easily get higher score due to having less reviews while a proper game can rate lower due to having more reviews where the average score is more likely to be lower due to the amount of reviews. Sadly they won't fix this seeing as it's been the issue with them since 2001.
Ay that RoadTrip game looks interesting It's like an actual RPG with cars
Please check it out, you will not regret it. The people who have actually played the game will agree it has deserveed its top 10 placement on this list.
Dustin 100% needs to play Test Drive/Test Drive: Overdrive. I can't believe no one has even told him about the beyond silly characters and storytelling that makes the game!
Also since he mentioned Dirt to Daytona looked like a cool as a demo derby game, I'd want to see him play Test Drive: Eve of Destruction.
Road Trip Adventure is really fun. You need to try it
Dustin was acting like he got rejected from art school at the end lmfao
Diddy kong racing is mario kart meets mario 64. Kart racing with a story mode. And a challenging one at that. Its a certified classic of my childhood.
Dude i just realized that clip of Ford Racing 2. That area shown is quite literally recreated in FH5 near the canyons. Train bridge over the road and very similar turns. Almost an identical scene.
I feel like Test Drive: Eve of Destruction (also known as Driven to Destruction) is slept on, it's a really good game and I was hoping to see it on the list, at least Rush 2049 made it, that game deserved a spot in a top 100 for sure
At least Dirt to Daytona (which came before and had it's engine used for EoD) got a shout out. But yeah, easily the best demo derby game. It made me pass on Wreckfest simply because EoD did anything I'd have wanted short of graphics and customization.

Me and my mates played SO MUCH San Fran 2049 on DC. 3 modes of play we kept switching between during the evenings, mirror and/or reverse tracks, a hidden "Gauntlet" competition we used to time trial AND findings coins unlocked more car parts so we all had custom rides. 4 player split screen at it's best. So good.

tokyo xtreme racer 3 has aged so good, i believe they would have no problem selling a sequel today. the open structure of the game feels very modern to me. just add multiplayer capabilites with pvp and send it
Especially with how many folks go "JAPAN?!?" whenever a new Horizon game gets announced. I can see it not being everyone's cup of tea, especially if they brought back the more CBT level bosses. But it WOULD sell. Especially a PC version.
That Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero video looks like a bowling alley animation 56:40
Someone mentioned FUEL. There's a glitch to use the apocalyptic looking dragster outside of a race. I remember that and people were disappointed it was race only at first. 19:54
This video is so good and makes me so happy that there's so much good content to come on your channel based on these hidden gems! Keep it up man!
at this point, Assetto Corsa is like the Skyrim/Fallout 4 of racing genre. Unless you're playing on console, there is no way you would like to play it vanilla
The main reason why Crash Team Racing was 1st rank because we as players always play this on 4-player mode. You really dont understand how this game have much more impact than Gran Turismo 1-4 did. The game itself was simple, but the skill was extremely required to beat the N.Oxide challenge where he will gone 1st before us and taking KNOWN SHORTCUTS to make it almost impossible to beat him. Every single day we always tried to find an alternative shortcuts where we need to shave more time even if it was 0.01 secs and we finally beat him after 1 month passed where we take turns to beat his record by wide margin. You really need to master advanced skill especially timing the power-slide turbos and air-braking for sharper cornering in some tracks, this is the main weapon to stay ahead from other players and once you mastered it, you literally make yourself become god-speed. Gran Turismo on the other hand become boring and stale as new series released, all you did was fine-tuning and having your own racing style, thats what you need. What we need right now is a racing game where you dont need crazy-grinding and fun to play with everyone regardless of skill you have, all we see right now is MTX and DLC everywhere since PS3 and X360 release.
16:45 you're a Sonic fan too?! I love this channel ten times more now lol

i usually don't like super long videos, hell i don't even watch 40 min, but this was such a bless, both this and the ign review aswell hahaha
Oh yes I’ve been waiting for this one! Happy it’s finally here!!!
The fact that both games that made me fan of the racing genre are both at the n.1 spot of respectively in the critics and the user score is heartwarming. Almost like I made both of the list(even though I wouldn't include any mobile games aside from maybe Asphalt 8)
55:15 the tracks are Saul Goodman
2006 outrun, holy shit it gave me huge nostalgia. Bro in turkey this was the default game in arcade saloons (and still even is). You go to a shopping mall, boom its there. You go to an amusement park, boom its there. This game solely got me into racing games and eventually getting into sim racing and motoesports.
I almost don't recognize the list from the video anymore 😋 Keep it up 💪
The fact that we didn't get Burnout Paradise, any Midnight Club LA, Split Second, Blur... heck, even Crash'n'Burn deserves a spot on the top 100... Why not throw any of the Hotwheels games on there..? I could see HW: Beat That, Highway 35, Stunt Track Challenge, even Hotwheels Mechanix being viable options...
I happen to have a PS2 copy of Downhill Domination. I found it a helluva lot of fun as a kid.
I know kart racers aren't the type of racing content that normally appears on this channel, but could you please consider adding CTR to your backlog? I don't know if I'm bold enough to put it at #1 myself, but it certainly is a top 5 racing game. Any youtube gameplay video does not do the mechanics and feel of the game justice. It might not be the game for you, but to at least play it and understand how it has an understandable shout to be #1 would be great to see. Keep up the great content and no, I am not a furry.
Great what the racing community does when it bonds together. Now we need some new games to boost: blur? Driver San Francisco? Midnight club la? Grid? Dirt 2? Suggestions
Huh... 51:51 "Big Air Freestyle"!? I played this game in the PS2 but it was called "MX Rider", really cool game I have to say, the freestyle game mode where you do stunts is very fun, you can combo the stunts like doing a backflip while doing a superman, and you can even legally cheat in races by doing stunts since they give you boost that you need to win championships. Really cool game, I recommend it.
I think what you are seeing on this list is the fact that every kid in small town America had a PS2, and wished they had a dirt bike.
Those reviews need more international user ratings to properly sort it out
Finally Tokyo Xtreme makes the list
1:14:55 the fact that this dude is german is the cherry on top.
Seeing Downhill Domination on the list was unexpected. The game is really fun and i think it's one of a kind because downhill biking isn't a really popular type of game. And lastly, this game was really popular in my country so im super happy seeing it on the list
Freestyle Metal X was actually really good at the time imo, the bikes had good weight to them and it controlled quite well
I can't believe race07 is at top 14, never expected my obscure childhood racing game would even make it to the list, this game and gtr 2 are one of the best racing games i played as a child and still playing till this day, yes the graphics are not up to par for their time period but the physics and content make up for that.
Tourist Trophy emulation is broken if you want the full experience, mostly due to the license test being bugged to hell.
you should do a tier list with 100 racing games chosen by the community
Just found your channel man... so fucken dope. As someone just getting into simracing but also loves all the arcade classics you hit all the buttons. I hope you blow TF up
Side note but dude the editor is so damn good, so much effort put into a video its insane
Road Trip (Adventure) has really janky physics and the car sounds aren’t the greatest but the story is interesting, the music is good (especially the final boss music), and you have cool car bodies ranging from a GT40 to a garbage truck. Although thinking about some of those mini games gives my PTSD.
50:52 As weird as this is, the "GT" series also had a full Gran Turismo ish approach on the Wii named "GT Pro Series". Had a fair amount of weird cars but was quite fun (edit) Also, whoever the editor is, love the DDLC OST as Dustin was reading the GT4 review. You have nice taste lol
