In July of 2023 we took a summer trip visiting Bosnia and also Montenegro for the first time. Kotor Montenegro was our first stop.
The city is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and the old city center makes it a city unique of its kind. To me personally it is a hidden gem in Europe since most European popular destinations are the common Paris, London or Rome. Besides of the mainstream travel destinations there are a lot more to explore in Europe.
The people in Montenegro are very friendly, there are cats everywhere in the city.
We rented an Airbnb which was a 15 minutes walking distance from the city center. We only had 1 full day to explore. In the future we will definitely comeback to Kotor Montenegro.
