After a few weeks of checking out this radio in my CB shack, I wanted to take a moment to post some comments. This was the first radio I've ever sent out to upgrade. Glad I chose 577 Jersey Customs to do the work. I've watched most of the videos on his channel, so I had an idea of what I wanted. Being relatively new to the CB hobby, I had a ton of questions and he took the time to answer all of them and offer advice on a few things I was unsure of. The radio performance has been great! Receive and transmit are clear as can be, with nothing but great comments from those I've talked with. Once I find a. nice Cobra 148 with SSB, I know where I'm sending it. If you need a radio worked on, send it to 577 Jersey. You'll be glad you did. Great communication and a quick turnaround time! Thanks Brother!

There are radios that just feel good to hold onto and handle. THAT is one of them! The Cobra 29 is a radio where you can feel the history of CB! Love them, and while the newer ones with FM aren't built like the radio you were working, it's nice to see CB radio entering a new communication phase. Thanks for sharing. Bump Bump!

Oh yeah, definitely a really nice radio. Great job on it Brother.😊 These old eyes have seen many moons. When they fail, look inward and see the video that reflects the memories of your life. 👊👊 😑🦗

I have a 1984 Cobra 148 gtl that is darn near that nice. I want to get done. I do know that someone was already inside it. I don't know if they knew what they were doing. Lol. I always enjoy your videos Tommy. Ty.

I bought mine in 1990. Could talk to guys many kilometers away while in my car. Where I live CB is not a thing anymore except for truck drivers and even that's so very little and they have gutless mismatched/uncalibrated setups.
