The Monarch is the embodiment of those things, so the curtsy is not for the actual person but for what that person represents. The Royal Family members represent the Monarch and the Crown, and are similarly respected by curtsys, bows etc. It should be noted however that no-one is forced to curtsey or bow, even to the Monarch. It's entirely voluntary, and the fact that people happily curtsey to members of the RF is testament to the respect that the institution of the Monarchy commands. Edit • There is a very complicated heirarchy within the RF regarding who curtseys to whom. As Queen, everyone curtseys or bows to Camilla, and as the second highest ranking female, Catherine merits curtsys from everyone but the King and Queen. However, this is only if she is with William, as the title is his, not hers. On her own, Catherine must curtsey to Anne, Beatrice and Eugenie who are all royal by birth.

There are many protocols surrounding the Royal Family and Meghan should have shown respect to the family she was marrying into (royal or not). Our Queen knew the eyes of the world would be on the wedding and merely requested that things should be done correctly. Instead Meghan went her own sweet way and became a laughing stock and, in the process, let down a family who had been very kind to her.

There’s also the issue of security, anyone could carry and inflict a weapon in a close embrace. There was an incident with an over excited tourist and the Princess of Wales immediately before the coronation where the Princess was letting people take selfies with her, and the tourist reached out , grabbed Catherine by the hair and pulled her backwards to take her own selfie. The Princess handled it with grace and carried on but security and the Police were very very understandably unhappy. I believe the tourist was spoken to by Police.

I watched this program when it was first broadcast. It was obvious Megs was annoyed that the girl interviewing her wasn't more impressed by the Californian poppy, there were a couple of other things Megs expected the woman to be amazed by and by the time the interview was drawing to a close Megs was not happy at all. It could be a culture thing, Brits are not impressed that easily. We are more inclined to go meh and shrug than we are to go WOW. My impression was Megs didn't like her dress. The one thing always overlooked is the fact that Markle copied the Commonwealth flower emblems from the Coronation gown of QEII. As monarch, the Queen would be head of the Commonwealth of Nations and she wanted all those nations to be represented in her Coronation gown - a fitting tribute. She must have been appalled that Markle appropriated this significant symbolism into her wedding sack. This plus disdainfully using the Queen's nickname of Lillibeth for her American child. There’s also the issue of security, anyone could carry and inflict a weapon in a close embrace. There was an incident with an over excited tourist and the Princess of Wales immediately before the coronation where the Princess was letting people take selfies with her, and the tourist reached out , grabbed Catherine by the hair and pulled her backwards to take her own selfie. The Princess handled it with grace and carried on but security and the Police were very very understandably unhappy. I believe the tourist was spoken to by Police.

Think of all the seamstresses giving 500 hours of their lives on a wedding veil…for Meghan. They had to watch the unfolding toxic drama that this one bride just took as advantage of them and wish their work had been worn by anyone other than MM.
Those seamstresses then had to watch the veil being dragged along the tiled floor as M did not qualify for a red carpet and rejected the blue carpet.

I watched this program when it was first broadcast. It was obvious Megs was annoyed that the girl interviewing her wasn't more impressed by the Californian poppy, there were a couple of other things Megs expected the woman to be amazed by and by the time the interview was drawing to a close Megs was not happy at all. It could be a culture thing, Brits are not impressed that easily. We are more inclined to go meh and shrug than we are to go WOW. My impression was Megs didn't like her dress. Had mixed feelings about the beautiful veil and disliked the interviewer 😂🤣

The one thing I got from this video was that she had achieved her aim and wasn’t interested in talking about her wedding dress and revisiting the story behind the design on the veil. She was counting the days until she and Harry would leave, I would even go as far as saying she definitely didn’t love Harry then and still doesn’t love him now he’s just being used until she can’t get anything more out of him...
I was floored at how ill fitting and super plain (made worse by the horrible fit) and seriously what was up with her hair? Did she forget to get it done? Oh! That’s it. Since she didn’t go to her last dress fitting it upset the hair/makeup artists so they ghosted her and she was stuck going as she did! That explains everything!!
The one thing always overlooked is the fact that Markle copied the Commonwealth flower emblems from the Coronation gown of QEII. As monarch, the Queen would be head of the Commonwealth of Nations and she wanted all those nations to be represented in her Coronation gown - a fitting tribute. She must have been appalled that Markle appropriated this significant symbolism into her wedding sack. This plus disdainfully using the Queen's nickname of Lillibeth for her American child. Markle insulted the Queen, Commonwealth and everyone she could, in rather crass and cunning ways.

I wonder what the psychology behind appropriating the name Archie from Prince George (Archie was Prince George’s pretend friend’s name & a name he used, to be incognito as the RF do at times - before the advent of MM, Harry had been a fab uncle, playing with George & pretend friend- all well documented). Then, they took Queen Elizabeth’s special, highly personal pet name. I wonder what that was about ? Power ? Control ? …"if I take your name, I become you" ? I think it is very very very weird & a bit dangerous.. I feel so sorry for Prince George, fancy having your favourite fun uncle take away your special friend’s name & give it to someone else - and not seeing your uncle anymore…. Horrid. Now, was it Harry’s idea, or MM’s ?
It makes sense for the Head of the Commonwealth to have emblems representing each one. They all became her responsibility and she honoured her role and showed she was focused on them not just herself at the Coronation. . It made no sense for MeAgain to copy that gesture for her wedding.

She's genuine when she's getting praise. She cant stand the woman. Talking about the dress and not her. Something else is getting attention. She's playing with her hair. She's uncomfortable she always does this. Did she lie to harry about a baby. She knew the queen didn't approve of white for her. She did it out of spite. The queens face tells it all. Show her body language.
Her eyes are always looking like they are ready for her to jump into an aggressive or opportunistic situation.
