@@BoomerShroomerDoes hydrogen peroxide kill the bad bacterias I read it doesn't harm mushroom spawn so I was thinking off being pro active and giving the bottom off the bag the sides and top layer one gentle mist super gentle just in the hope it may catch something before it even starts...prevention over cure I guess you could say 😂 cheers

So good to see you posting again!!! I’d love to see a video of different types of growth with myc if you could make one! I’ve seen myc grow thick and also wispy and I’m not sure if there’s a huge difference but I’d love to know how it effects your flush.

So glad you're back!!! You have been essential in my first attempt at this and so very appreciated! I just added the spawn to bulk in the inflatable monotub and have a couple of questions.. I did use the included liner but is it necessary? Also, I had some substrate left over bc I felt that if I added any more it would go way past the liner. I used a 3lb milo spawn bag and your mix of substrate if that helps 😁

Hey Ashley, definitely love your videos. Was wondering when it is fruiting stage do you keep a light on them or is it just okay that the light hits them?
I add light once I start to fruit. They will grow towards the light.

Hi Ashley If you have a growbag with incipient contamination maybe you could just throw it back into the pressure cooker?? Also.. I put a grow bag out into the hot sun one time and it got pretty hot the next day it was all green completely dry and nothing but green powder... Maybe moderate temperatures would be a good thing to eliminate trichoderma
Just want to say I was one of the pre-orders on the first wave of inflatable tubs and it's still doing it's job wonderfully. Haven't had to patch it yet either, quite durable. It was really cool to see a whole room full of them like that.

There hell to clean compared to a nice flat sidewall. i trashed it after the first use.
@@thcamccormick6107 huh. never had that issue. I just hit it with bleach and scrub down as usual with a sponge. rinse out as normal. plop it down, iso it, good to go.

I'm humidifying hydrogen peroxide 50/50 mixed with water every few days . Crossing my fingers but seems like a great idea so far. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi! I have found your videos very educational. I am in need of advise: I already loss one mini-monotube, which was my first trying to grow shrooms, to trichoderma (it was placed inside a fruiting chamber) and I don't want to loose another. I have been reading and watching content and I was wondering if I put my mini-minotube with the lid closed (with some air-holes covered with micropore in the box part) inside my fruiting chamber, will that work? My intention is to not expose the mycelium directly to the elements (therefore, to possible contaminants) by keeping the tube closed, but giving it air and humidity through the fruiting chamber, opening the big box to keep air flowing and spraying water, so the closed mini-monotube will recibe both in a indirect way. Does it makes sense? Do you think it can work? Thanks!

Hi Ashley.... Quick question, with a live culture, does part of the culture closer to the culture turn yellow at all? I'd love to see you a pick, but don't know how to do that. Any ideas on the pic? You're videos are great. We used to intentionally introduce Trichoderma harzianum at a forestry nursery I once worked at. We would use it on a few million douglas fir seedlings a year because it would combat fusarium and botrytis which are both big issues in styrofoam block seedling monocultures.
THankyou! I wanted to go a bit big but green mold got me down. Need to make a clean room, cover the carpet, and get an air purifier. I would have success but everything would go down hill quickly when I would try to go big or move to tubs. I did 10+ huge tubs and would never get one to finish. Need to figure this out.

Hey Ashley, Thank you so much for your videos. I have a few questions. Does the 500g coir + 500g vermiculite + 100g gypsum make one 66 qrt sterilite box? (Because you said you need to use half of it) My second question is, is how much grain do you add to the spawn bag (it’s not clear how big your cup is). Can I use rolled oats instead of whole oats? Where can I find your amazon affiliate link for spawn bags?
Yes, I usually only use one bulk recipe per tub. There will be some left over that you can use for another tub but it won't be enough to do two tubs. I usually do 3 pounds of spawn and 3-5 pounds of bulk. I am not sure about rolled oats. Huge fan first off. I have a question....storing your spore prints, how do you usually store them? I also ordered some boomer shroomer substrate. Would I hydrate it or does it come ready to use? Thanks a bunch for all you do!
You can store a spore print in a cool dark place. You will need to pasteurize the bulk before you use it. You will need to boil 16 cups of water and then pour it in the bucket.

I have some green patch on the top. Not sure it is bruising or what it is. I already have some pins 😢 I really don’t know what to do at this point any advice will be appreciated.
So I have been fruiting for about 6 days now and I still do not see any pin formation, what could be some general reasons as to why I am not seeing any formation yet? Temp is around 75 humidity is good I think had 100% coverage and still nothing, I might be doing something wrong or I’m hoping I’m just being impatient
