My wife has been a member of his church since she was a child, before Isaiah was born actually. I recently started attending with her, and when I tell you I didn’t expect him and his family up on that stage, I mean it in the best way possible. They are such great people and they’re all SO talented. I was awestruck when I first heard Isaiah and his father/sister sing. And the fact that they do it for all the right reasons is the cherry on top. I’m so happy for Isaiah. He definitely deserves this.

- @@adri_makeupnot always a “Alter” many churches nowadays have a section for bands or programs .. “altar” refers to mostly Catholics or “where worship happens” , with priest . I’m sure this place of worships wherever he sings is 1000% not a Catholic Church lol … ik my church has a altar and then behind it a stage for when they play music “ we’ll now have on stage a beautiful young man and woman who leads us in their powerful godly music “

- @@hunterbasselite6826 oh well I guess it’s different for different denominations . I grew up Pentecostal n it was always only called an altar and was very sacred. Only really the pastors and any invited preachers or church leaders were aloud to go up. There was a slightly lower part of the altar where members of the church would stand when they took a part to sing or read frm the Bible. But both parts were considered part of the altar n sacred jus the higher portion of the altar was considered the most sacred and holy part of the church

I usually turn American Idol on in the background while I do other things. Isaiah Case’s audition was the only one this season that made me stop to listen. His voice gave me chills. Here’s to hoping he goes far in this competition!
