If you're not doing the Base of the Towers separately, you can do it with them or on your own. The baqueano experience is quite unique because you won't really find anything like this elsewhere. Any other sort of horseback riding, I also recommend again, because, they are so good at it and Hotel Las Torres is really lucky to be so close to those views.
Great video! My husband and I are planning our visit. Do you know if Hotel Las Torres provides equipment for excursions? (Hiking poles, rain gear, etc?) Or is it available for rent?
Yes, they have gear for use that doesn’t require a rental fee but depending on what you’re looking for, make sure to ask their team before going to make sure as I only ended up borrowing their ice cleats.
Hi @GoingAwsomePlaces, have been trying to find more information for our trip to Torres del Paine in general and Las Torres hotel specifically and find your video is very helpful. I am interested in booking 4 nights half-board with them and plan to drive ourselves from Puerto Natales to the hotel. A bit concern about fuel situation since it's about 150 miles round trip from Puerto Natales to the reserve. Do you now if the hotel would offer their guest fuel? Also, do you know if horseback ridding is possible for children (age 12, 13) with no riding experience? Thanks again for any insights that you can offer.
I was able to get the right answers for you! Hotel Las Torres got back to me: "Regarding your questions, we don't sell petrol to our guests, we always recommend them to bring a full tank and some extra gallons for them to refill. Horseback riding shouldn't be an issue for the ages of 10 or 12 and also no experience is needed." I'll be honest, at 150 miles round trip, a full tank of gas every time you drive into the park should be more than enough. Hope that helps!

That’s awesome news! We’re you able to use our promotion? Will you be doing the W Trek after or before your stay? Their team should be able to help answer your questions. You’ll likely need their help booking the refugios. Note that not all are part of the Las Torres Reserve.
