Aero clock problem

Move the gear forward so the balloon doesn't work and see if that helps. Also on mine the big gear that runs along side the escape wheel was rubbing the escape wheel. It doesn't take much to stop them. Mine runs good now but its going to take awhile to adjust it from running fast

Does the pendulum pallets need more wax?

My advice is to use a mini sander. Polish the felt tip all the elements that rub against each other, in particular the pendulum and the pendulum wheel. I have a load of 1.2 kg and the clock is working properly.

The gear of the baloon gave me a lot of troubles loke the one you are having, i had to put a piece backwards to make it work (the one that loks in place the gear handle, piece nr 141)

You should sand the sides of the pendulum where it touches the frame (the frame seems a little too narrow for the pendulum if you do not hammer the pendulum center together or something), and also the hooks. Also maybe put the axle into the pendulum and remove it a few times to make the hole bigger, or apply WD-40 to it. My pendulum works fine, it's the rest of the clock that stops randomly. I can tell because it remains non'rotating even if I remove the pendulum if I don't push it. And I tried lubricating it, running it fast without pendulum multiple times, and increasing the weight to maximum of what seems reasomable. I didn't try removing the wax from gears yet, as there could be too much, but I'd have to take it apart again.

I didn't cut the waxed cord because I couldn't measure it, so I don't know if it was already the right size from the start?? I have almost finished assembling the clock, I am at the stage of hanging it on the wall. So I don't know if I should cut it or if it will work??

Sand the tips of the pendulum and the gear spike where it gets stuck.

You should regulate that fing that you take off .

Perhaps pendulum is too bottom-heavy. Raise top weight until it tips forward by gravity alone, then lower the weight until pendulum just stands vertical. And sand and wax the contact points (part 159, pages 64-65) Also, balloon may be too heavy. My aero clock works well.

Have you tried waxing the friction points of the pendulum?

My clock won't even reset, the weight doesn't move. Do you have any idea why?

Mine if I raise the sanded bag all the way up it locks the wheel and does not move at all any piece after I have to disassemble all the gears and reassemble again to work but then again when I attach the pendulum the whole mechanism seems not to be working freely and needs help with my hand to start turning again for only 3-5 clicks then stops again. Any ideas ???

Stesso problema, sembra che la forza del peso non venga trasmessa agli ingranaggi.. infatti se si muovono gli ingranaggi manualmente il pendolo va.. domani lo rismonterò.. qualcuno per caso ha risolto?
