I made an aluminum stove that was three sided and held a sterno stove in eighth grade. I loved camping and would hike up in the hills when I visited my grandparents in West Virgina. And camp out over night sometimes too. Anyways the elder blossom flood came on one spring and washed the outhouse down the creek breaking the gas line. And we used my little stove to cook on. My grandpa was so proud. He doubted it at first. But once it got that iron skillet hot and the ham was sizzling I thought he’d bust.

Copper pipe with hole's drilled down one side one larger hole to fill the pipe with alcohol or liquid heat. Roll up high heat carbon felt or cut circle's and then stack it inside copper pipe. Sweat end cap's onto pipe. Bend wire to make a stand to place pipe into to keep the burner up right. Make two to three copper pipe's with the wire stand. Now ypu have a alternative burner for your wood stove barbecue or fire place. Stay warm and cheerful love! 😊

Wow, great addition I'll be doing that only with Crisco shortening as fuel. I'll bet that small copper tubing works perfect for the burner and no doubt will put out more heat for cooking and heating. Thank you very, very much for sharing that! Will be thinking of you on my first burn Jim Martin!

This is pretty awesome! Viola is pronounced wah-lah! But your still cool! Thank you for such a handy and creative idea, awsome!
@notallowed774 жыл бұрын
Actually, it should be pronounced "Vwa'-lah" (the French pronunciation). It is an American corruption of a very French phrase, which, literally translated, means "Look there", or "Look at that". And the word that you use, "your" should be you're, which is a contraction of the words you are. The apostrophe (') taking the place of the letter "a". Yw.

You won't find many viola players pronouncing it like that! ;-)

Hi, I use denatured alcohol from Lowe's or a local hardware store.
Best one I’ve seen! Not ridiculously over complicated.
Realmente fantastic, thanks a lot my LADY, I´ll try one, Blessings from Stgo-Chile-S.A. La Tierra, so long

Absolutely loved this video. From opening credits to end. Thanks for the pot scrubber hack!
My favorite parts are: "Go and read a book." also "grandma's chin tweezers"...you are deadpan funny.
Aah, that's where I keep going wrong...a LIGHTED match is what I need! Great little idea!
Well done. Thank you.
Great idea. The narration is killing me!
*Excellent Video!* 👍 Can it work in a soup can? How much alcohol did u add?
I hope you are doing fine. Love from southeast Asia!
Speaking as someone who is never more than 6' from her own chin tweezers... informative and entertaining, jolly good. 😊 Was that a Maine accent I detected? It was reminiscent of every Stephen King movie set in Bangor. 🎥 😎
Omg this got to be the best alcohol stove video ever ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Interesting and entertaining love her sense of humour...
Granny's chin tweezers! Ha ha ha ha
Thank goodness for Grandma! Or Nanna as we say in southern England.. And thanks for using millilitres / millimeters, I don't understand ounces.. God Bless you too..
Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!
Best alcohol stove video out there…due both to simplicity and wit!
"Grandmother's chin tweezers". LOL

You're funny! Made me laugh. 5 minutes well spent. Subscribed!
This is pretty awesome! Viola is pronounced wah-lah! But your still cool! Thank you for such a handy and creative idea, awsome!
Yw.
You won't find many viola players pronouncing it like that! ;-)
Steel wool and 9 bolt battery will make a spark to light too no need matches in a pinch tampons make good wick too. Can make canola and soy oil lamps candles too or old olive oil
Thanks! 😄
😂 brilliant! Many thanks, from London, UK. Edit: just subbed.
Cracking video , made me chuckle
