  • I don’t recall this channel but I am definitely impressed! The way you explained Color nodes and using Fusion for the title nodes was so simple and clear. I don’t recall anyone else mentioning “think of it as XXXX”. Your age doesn’t matter, but I do want to point out that for being a younger person, your explanations and examples are clearer than some of the more long time older people. And you don’t speak to fast so the spread to follow jus trade it that much more valuable. Kudos to you . I’m for sure a NOW subscriber because you know what you’re doing. It doesn’t matter how “PRO” someone is if no one is uninterested in listening because you can’t relate it and make it digestible. You deserve the 1 million subscribers. Appreciate you!!!!

  • Yesterday I bought a course for my son, who is 13. He already took a short offline course where they made a short film from beginning to the end and he also knows pretty well Premier Pro and After Effects. He knows English very well but still sometimes its not easy to understand some educational videos for a non native speaker. So we checked the course yesterday and couldnt belive that such a perfect, well structurized and taught in perfectly understandable English course exists and at such a minimum prize!!!!! Thank you so so much!!! I want to recommend it to everybody who is interested in the film making, its really step by step explaning all what is necessary. We also got several courses from Udemy but its simply uncomparable. Dont hesitate, buy this course!

I was coached by some of the best basketball coaches in the nation, I’ve been around some of the best teachers, professors & educators, as well. He is outstanding and all of his punches land!! 😂 This stuff can be daunting for a 50 year old man, but I love being around all this stuff & learning continuously. Im glad I found you. I’m locked & loaded on your channel, my friend. Thank you for bringing your knowledge, abilities & giftedness to others within this forum. It is as unselfish as it is rare these days. You have a new, big, positive fan in me. Thank You!

  • Pro Tip: NEVER USE THE DELETE KEY on the edit page. If you want to remove a clip, select it and hit the backspace key. Then, if you want to remove the gap as well, select the gap between clips and hit the backspace key again. I know this sounds like more work, but believe me, this will save you heart ache. The delete key does something somewhat unusual in Davinci Resolve; particularly if you are working in multiple layers. When you delete a clip off the timeline it also removes the gap without proper respect to the various layers of all the clips to the right. What that means is if you have nearly finished a project and then go back to remove 1 clip from the middle, using delete can screw up ever edit to the right of that on the timeline. If you insist on trying it, experiment carefully and be prepared to hit undo (Ctrl-Z) if you are not happy with the outcome. It may be that there is some special case that this IS what you wanted to do. But I found repeatedly that DELETE caused nothing but trouble. I have stopped using it entirely. Since I don't use the cut page at all, I am not sure how DELETE responds on that page. I am only saying this regarding the edit page.

  • I’ve been using premiere pro for years now, I just used davinci resolve for my latest project and I like it so much better than premiere. Davinci seems like it was really developed by editors, for editors. The organization is so much better and everything just feels like it’s in the right place. I’ll be using resolve from now on until I find a reason not to, which I don’t think is likely. Plus the nodes are top notch.

I haven't, and all that has changed was my laptop upgrading from Windows 10 to 11. Customer services are useless, and I still can't export projects I have ready after over 2 weeks. I downloaded Davinci, but I must admit it blew my mind a bit at first, but it makes sense now. So I will give it a go for my next project.

Final Cut and LumaFusion show a line in the source clip showing at a glance which ones have been used in the timeline. I saw with Resolve I can click and hold a media pool clip and see in a menu how many portions have been used on the timeline. But I need to do it one by one and it is really time consuming when you have many clips with similar footage. I would like to use Resolve on the iPad, but without this feature, editing in Resolve would be a lot slower
