Yeah not really, there are a lot of loopholes like now DSG case if a brand wants Timmy to be one of their faces they will approach DSG just because he will be in DSG limelight more wearing their jersey caring that name but as a content creator company should go 100t but instead they will see that DSG is a better value.
Normally yeah but its a grey area while being a content creator for X org shouldn't stop you from being a pro in Y org how does streaming work? how does promotional material work? should timmy wear both X and Y org's jersey for photoshoots? what would the branding of timmy be, X or Y org?
Not really. It works in this particular case because Timmy is okay to be literally paid zero, thus making it pretty clear there is no monetary interest. He just wants to play for the sake of it because he's already financially stable, while the rest of the team aren't. He is simply giving the opportunity for his team to do this for a living.
@@silentKeys20 Yeah which makes timmy an exception and not industry standard like op comment was. My comment was in reference to an average streamer who is indeed monetarily compensated by both orgs as a content creator for X and pro player for Y.
@@namo2403 content creation and being pro are very different from each other so it is actually pretty easy to differentiate. This is basically the same as nike signing a deal with certain football player playing for a team that has a clothing deal with adidas.

@@agumon1605I mean Toast is a new esports org so he’s not really say Nadeshots brand. However, he’s on a good path (from what we see). Seeing both Nades and Toasts growth they both come from 2 very different eras of competitive gaming. Its way more competitive financially not to say it wasn’t before, but it always gets harder the more time passes by. I mean Nadeshot came from an org that used his salary to pay for the team house back in 2012!! Toast lived in a content house with other streamers. Both were at the tippity top of their viewership game and boosted them to where are now. There’s mutual respect in there I’m sure. Let’s also not forget Valkyrae (co owner) is good friends with Toast
