I miss Wintergatan Wednesdays, so I spent 100+ hours on this music sync in Line Rider

This video is a tribute to a youtube channel I'm a big fan of called @Wintergatan . I've synchronized the physics of the riders to the music, all done by hand. It's not a sponsored video, I just want to show my support for the marble machine project.

  • This...! I Was expecting some sync, i wasn´t expecting a 100% accurate documentary over past events. Still in weightless-ness after 2:23 but regrouping towards 2:38 and looking forward to fulfilling the prophecy at 3:44 :) Thank you Doodle Chaos for bringing the magic!

  • Wow, this was incredible, genuinely choked me up. Seeing all the riders come together and rally behind red, after the Sisyphus knock-down, really got me. Really captures the journey of Wintergatan and its community. Even if you let the machine go at this point Martin, you've done amazing work and I've enjoyed every second. Big thanks

  • I want to add my voice and say I absolutely loved this! I have followed Martin since the first Marble Machine and I love that you managed to blend all of the feelings that the roller coaster journey has brought! I really felt like that ending was almost a premonition of the MM3 project, Martin falling and realizing the MMX was doomed to fail, only to be helped by himself and his followers to begin again building an amazing machine to finally conquer the mountain!! Seriously, congratulations on a beautiful piece of art!

  • This was fucking amazing. I got chills and cried a little. Martin and Wintergarten Wednesdays got me through covid when I wasn’t working and was discovering new levels of isolation and depression. This encapsulated the hope and the wonder that he gave me with a simple concept that was hugely complicated in practice, but beautiful to experience. Thank you.

  • This was absolutely stunning. It was totally unexpected and absolutely jaw dropping. The timing and the theatrics of each little rider losing and regaining his sled was truly mesmerizing. Each motion seemed so calculated and perfected to almost minutia. Thank you for spending the time to create this unconventional work of art.

  • Wow, those sled trades at the end felt like the community coming in and giving more of their support to help martin, but ultimately... It was not the case. Maybe it helped him realize he needed to learn a bit more before he tackled the mountain, but this piece was pretty, and definitely shows the journey that we went on together wit Martin.

  • I...I don't even know what to say. I first saw "In The Hall Of The Mountain King" and I thought it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen in my life. I saw the Beethoven's 5th one and I thought there was no way anything could top it. Clearly...I was wrong. I've never been happier to have been proven wrong. This is an actual masterpiece, a visual symphony.

  • Wow, that was... quite the callback. The moment I saw that marble machine tape reader at the start everything came flooding back. This is such a wonderful tribute, I'll admit the music got me a little teary eyed, even watching that adorable sledder get ragdolled around, and especially when a while 6 of them showed up. There's just something so cool about how all of them are synced, and the main red rider trading off all of the others' sleds as if they're sending their own final push to them. Thanks man. :')

  • this is incredible, I didn't think it was possible to make such a cohesive narrative in Line Rider but you nailed it. I have been a supporter and Patron of Matin for a long time and it still kind of makes my heart feel heavy how things have gone, especially at the part where he hits that boulder and falls. I really hope Martin takes the time he needs to recuperate and enjoys the journey, not just the destination
