  • If you are reading this comment, you probably ran into this problem "mongosh is not recognizale as an name of cmdlet" or something like that, i spent some looong time triying to fix it. and i finally got it. 5:06 at system variables, here you should click on "Path" and then put the location of the file, otherwise vscode will not recognize it apparently. hope this helps anyone

    • If you have vscode running in the background after adding it to the Path variable, you might need to restart vscode for the change to take effect.

  • If you're getting an error within VSCode about mongosh not being a command. You should do the Set Environment Variable, but instead of adding a new Variable you should edit the variable called Path and add it in there.
