voldex are pushing away the og community and bringing in a new different community, which are probably mostly little timmies that beg their mom for robux so they can waste it on games like blade ball and pet sim 99. The new potions, the packs that give you an entire set + gold and exp boost, and the constant cosmetics shows that they only care about the money.

ive been playing dq for 5 yrs too, i made alot of good memories in this game especially samurai palace and other dungeons... i remember when i got so excited for a dungeon release or when i got traded some new dungeon items... ig i was too patient and its finally time to quit fr this time. because what tf are boosts... its too much for me, we went from cosmetic bundles, buying leaderboard progress, alot of event based p2w stuff, paying to trade cosmetics for items, and now stat boosts including revive potions.... not to mention also buying event keys..

@@SyberSMissing i agree with you, the 1 dungeon: 1event ratio have been keeping the game alive for YEARS. If they sustained that type of update pattern, maybe the game wouldve been more fruitful instead of the colorless money farm it is now.
This what I feared when I heard voldex would buy dq I've been with dungeon quest ever since winter outpost was the last dungeon. I do not have a lot of hope for where the game is heading a lot of just cosmetics and p2w stuff. The next dungeon needs to be amazing to keep the old player base.

There is a game out now basically like Dungeon Quest called Fabled Legacy. It’s been out for a year now and the future for it looks bright
it’s not even near dungeon quests level and is way different, i played it when it first came out, got bored in less than 3 months.
When Yokai Peak just came out, give 5T exp into madness, but then it was removed, after 2 weeks, my friend and I climbed the entire map, there are so many holes that you can go from 1 boss through the walls of the mountains to 3 bosses, or 2 bosses climbing on the Christmas tree and down maps, to get behind 2 bosses, where there is not one attack except for the mark, he can not damage you, in general, this is really shit, VCaffy, did it for a long time, but there were no bugs at all, except that they were not significant, but not so that you could climb the whole map...
this is a serious problem and is something that really needs to be talked about

I have been playing Dungeon Quest for 5 years at this point. Ever since Voldex took over, I was quite happy that they decide to take over development to keep the game alive because Vinny was too busy with making other projects. But, when Yokai Peaks came out, I was happy that a new dungeon arrived, but I grinded less. I played the game when Pirate Island came out and ever since, I participated in every single update, even when Dungeon Quest was as it's lowest during the Boss Raid era. I supported the game by playing more and making content on it for 4 years at this point. Seeing Voldex do this to my favorite game, disgust me. Sure, I do love the Desert Temple and Winter Outpost Revamps but adding Bundles and Potions are so bad, I would do anything to burn those things.. I do not want to see this game to begin its downfall. Voldex sure indeed say that they will listen to the community, but they listened to the people that Yokai Peaks gives "too much exp" which is stupid. Sprookies's Video and your video makes me wanna have a public statement about the current state on Dungeon Quest. (I yapped sorry about that).

I just find this all funny honestly. I quit the game 2 years ago after completing enchanted forest because the repetitiveness got to me a while ago. And seeing things such as the speed potion when I came back to look at updates really didn't make me regret anything

Personnaly I think voldex did a great job and he made the game revive with alot of update and stuff to do wile waiting new dungeon. You can pay in the event to go faster but the mojority of stuff are cosmetic that does not affect the game. Potion can help you but you can still get everything without them. All game that are free have to make money somewhere and you are not obligated to buy them to go farter in the game, its still f2p its your choice if you want to spend or not. It was a lil p2w from the start. To get high chance in dropping rare items you had to get the +1 item gamepass which is hella expensive

Game used to average 13k+ during yokai relase but after exp nerf it dipped including me who also dipped. It could have been 11k+ always if they focused on content updates over cosmetic update

While the game wasnt as good as it could be while vCaffy was the owner, it was still very good, and imo, the best game in Roblox(obviously just my preference; i don't speak for everyone). Voldex, while yes have made a few good additions, like revamping the first 2 dungeons and adding the retry button, have bombed the game with constant crash grabs(not to mention the fact the new UI/global parties break half the time and won't show up for other people). And it even seems to be working with both little timmys buying stuff with their mom's credit card, and youtubers doing "NOOB TO GODLY WITH 10K ROBUX!1!1!". P.S. Fv¢k revive pots and speed pots especially.
VCaffy added one dungeon a year, absurd difficulty that anyone with a ping above 200 made the dungeon impossible with so many mechanics, events were only for those who were in the end game and he didn't even care about the game anymore, the game was abandoned and dying with each passing day, only seeing 1700 players or less per day, now it is alive again, at least now we have one group working on the game.

@@SyberSMissing Obviously they can't launch a new dungeon, didn't you see the mess the game was in when Vcaffy left? experience for new players is horrible, dungeon difficulty curve is abnormal unless you are loaded, they are improving quality of life, game took 6 years to have a retry button which we asked VCaffy from the beginning, Gregg also helped us carry to have one more reason to do our work because still helping the low level we gain loot and gold from the highest lv dungeon, before launching a new dungeon it is good that they continue to improve the game.

The dev's of Dungeon Quest truly screwed everything up. This game WAS good. Until new GUI and new P2W system. Truly the biggest downfall ever done by Vinny. Pains me to say as a veteran who was around since Pirate island. This game isn't good anymore. Man, the last 6 years was a blast before Vinny sold it. Super sad
