  • Watching this video made me appreciate even more what it took Peter Jackson's crew to create the weaponry for LOTR - knowledge, imagination, craftsmanship and dedication. Well done.

    • Hello Julie! Thank you for your words! Building things that would one day be used as props in a Peter Jackson film would be a highlight of my life. However, I think that will remain a dream forever! 😃 Best regards!

  • Brilliant job. By the way, what was that boiling stuff in the pot?

    @sarantissporidis391@sarantissporidis391 Жыл бұрын
    • Hello and thank you for the great compliment. In the pot was vinegar at 25% acid. I boiled the ax head in it for about 10 minutes to give the steel a natural patina. (Protection against rust) Greetings! Nico

  • I do like the axe but was distracted by your shop it’s something else,I’m not sure completely what exactly your primary mode of work is, cabinet maker? You’re not a diy guy for sure. I am excited to see what you do next, good stuff!

    • Hello and thank you for your great words, I was very happy about it. Especially about the interest in my little workshop! The conversion of this ax was one of my first projects in this shop. I spent the last year building and furnishing this room from 2 old garages. My goal was to set up a visually traditional workshop with modern technology and tools. By the way, I'm a mechatronics engineer. 😉Best regards! Nico
