    • @@squarecut999 In Portuguese turkey (the bird) is perú which is kind of weird because of Peru the country, Turkey in portuguese is Turquia. Languages are weird and funny sometimes. In Iraqi orange, the fruit, sounds like "portugal" with the "g" sounding roolled something between "ghe" and "rr" - portughrral. I LOLd when I knew about this. Despite the similarity the name of Portugal has nothing to do with oranges but with the roman term Portus Cales or Portus Gatelli, there is not a consensus on this issue from the scholar community.

Also, decriminalizing drugs opes doors to businesses selling it legitimately, allows for taxation and control of sales, and takes it a little bit away from the drug cartel world into the regular business world. And let's not forget making it less taboo for people to talk about addiction and seeking help.

Turkey invaded with the excuse that these turks "where under threat" by taking advantage of the coup d'etat that took place in greece at the same time. After the war. Turkey signed an agreement agreeing not to settle mainland turks after conquering at least 1/3 of the island, a clause which they obviously broke cause treaties are just toilet paper for them. Not sure but many of the turks I think that also settled where soldiers or relatives of the army that took part in the invasion. The Malay knew if the didn't kick out singapore they would be ruled by a foreign culture and they would be the minority. It's a good thing they did considering the way south east asians have been treating minorities afterwards up to this day. Some cultures unfortunately are inferior, despite people don't like to hear about it and call it racism, as they still have to prove themselves of being advanced. • @@WonderWhy That's still pretty useless. Good results would be seeing a decrease in experimentation due to it becoming mainstream, a higher rate of addiction recoverees versus addicts, a lower overdose death rate, etc. If legalizing drugs puts the people's lives in danger, then I'd rather have small offenders be arrested.
