How do you catch like that? I've always seen people catch the ball even when it's nowhere near them, yet I don't know how to do that.

u can change it in the qb challenge area i think. there is a little place to adjust settings

Can you make a throwing guide, I can't throw that far or high.
I'll try to put one together if I can get around to it. I think the throwing mechanic may be a bit challenging to teach since it is a bit "personal" if you know what I mean. Practice, practice, and practice some more. Good luck!

@@phoenix.krevtivex4257 hmm how far can you throw it? You want to be able to consistently throw it your maximum distance, and try and time it so the receiver and the ball will cross paths. It's kind of like that high school physics problem with the two trains leaving from Portland, Oregon and Portland, Maine and they have to meet at Lincoln Nebraska on Thursday at 3:17am while traveling different speeds on different days. Yeah, pretty much exactly like that, kind of. Anyways, 4-5 second drop back, throwing at a 45 degree angle with good technique should net about 65 yards, and it should connect on time. Unless there is supply chain issues, then who knows :)

I either use Leading or Catchzone, depends on the situation. Facing works also, but it adds an extra cut scene to the gameplay and makes it a little less "natural."

bro how are your WR reach passes 30 yards away and mine can't even reach them from 20
Depends on the ball. High arching passes allow for more time,. I also try and catch the ball 3-5yards short of the target for an over-the-shoulder catch and more RACs
How do I teleport to the ball to catch it
In the menu on the Left change wide receiver options from CPU to player or automatic or whatever it is. I mean on the left by the board
this doesnt work whenever i build ur exact plays they are never open and i have my power and height on max and i still throw it so short im actually gonna die if i dont figure out how u do this
The throwing mechanic in the game is awesome. I think the developers really nailed it. You can really add a lot of variety to the throws. I would suggest practicing shorter passes at first so that you can reliably deliver the ball to your target. Once you get a reproducible and "natural" mechanic, then I would extend the distance. Also, try to avoid putting the controller behind your Oculus as it may interfere with tracking. Other than that, practice makes perfect :)

bro literally how do u do this i cant handle it this games getting boring for me because i have a terrible arm and anytime i pass it just pops up in a crowd and it’s repetitive so its not fun literally just how bro i need to know how u throw and why if i use ur plays the defense covers well
My plays aren't designed to get anyone "open." (I throw into triple coverage a lot) They are designed to create mismatches where a non-CB is guarding my top receiver(s). At that point, you just throw to the open space and beat the defender(s) to the ball.

Ohh yeah! Gotta get above the defense or else it's INT. But I don't jump that high, more like a long stretch :)
