Watching this years later and I still get goosebumps, there’s still a small trickshot community left but god damn it doesn’t even scratch the surface compared to how it was back then, those days grinding every single cod possible for shots will always be the best times of my life, I’d do anything to go back but life goes on and all we can do is pray they eventually put out an actual good cod for trickshotting sooner than later, it still wouldn’t compare to the community back then but if they actually give us another great game we could do our best to relive the nostalgia.
I think it’s better that we leave it as it is. If it ever comes back, it will probably be with a new generation. Having the memories is more valuable than hoping

I just watched the 1 million sub montage before this. When this came out I was 19 and deep in the community this was my life! Now I’m 28 married with a son and have a great job. I still frequently think of these times, the friends I met and just how involved the community was. I barely play games and turned on Bo2 this week expecting happiness playing it again but I was just sad. Because those days are long gone it doesn’t matter if the servers are back on, we’ll never be in the best era again, The golden era. We had no idea……….

Even though the 2MILLION teamtage was a tiny letdown, to be honest, it was only because the 1MILLION teamtage was fucking insane. When you grind a game every single day for years it gets boring, that's why especially rain and adapt are getting back into mw2. because they took a break and actually enjoy it. you have to realise that faze are people and can't just be expected to make everyone happy. i used to be into sniping on cod, i just think went a bit overboard with these trickshots and that. simple feeds used to be entertaining. i really don't like 90% of the fanbase anymore either, these wannabe trickshotters think they own the lobby when they join and talk shit with their made up trickshot slang. i appreciate faze as a business, their editing on their videos is great, music choice is brilliant usually, and the merch seems popular. it's the elitist fanboys that make everyone hate faze.
I 100% agree that the fanboys have ruined the community! However many people may check my channel and say I am a fanboy copying them when I don't. I make what is hopefully entertaining videos that have a "trickshot" in it. But this is what makes the game exciting to me. I also enjoy making montages and editing them because it is something fun to do when none of my mates will come out or its raining.
