Mal has an infectious energy and laugh. I’m so glad I stumbled on Made it Out podcast, it’s honestly so refreshing to hear gay stories and be introduced to lesbians that have wild experiences!

Shannon honestly your stortelling and interviewing is some of the best. Such respect in the way you interact with guests as well as relating without making it about you. Such intelligent questions. You keep the conversation flowing. It seems like it so natural to you. You have a great balance to your style. Its in depth but not uncomfortable and its not shallow like "who are you wearing tonight" red carpet type conversation. Really enjoying it mate. Nice 👍🏼

You were a big part of my introduction into the LGBTQIA+ community and its been amazing watching you grow as I grew up myself (26 now), so much has changed in this world but it has always been a comfort seeing/hearing any of your content. I appreciate this new series and am super excited to see where this goes!

Shannon, 100%%% hit the nail on the head re: where you grow up partially determines if you’ll sleep w guys. I’ve known I was gay since I was 10, but I grew up in a pretty liberal, upstate NY area where ALL of my girlfriends were having sex by 16-17, so of course I had to fit in w them and do it too. 17-22 was straight blackout drinking and hooking up w guys. HORRIBLE time in my life.
