If you asked me why I skydive, this is the closest thing to an answer that I could give you. These are some of my skydiving memories mostly from this past year. Please share it if you like it. Thank you to everyone that has been part of my time in the sky.

I remember being 16 years old watching this video every single day wishing to be a skydiver and sometimes crying from the impotence of not being able to jump because of the money. Now 8 years later, I'm on my 70th jump. Thanks for motivating me.
Same with my life bro. Impossible is nothing!
Blue skies 🤙🏼
Hell yeah. I maxed out two credit cards in 97. I had a bit of a jumping problem. The cards wrecked my credit but now I have jumped into some of the most secure air space in the US outside of area 51, some of my friends are the best in the world. What I am saying is the sport paid me back in ways money never could have gotten me
Guy, i had the same story, sick brother❤
I love this comment so much. I first saw this in 2015 and now I'm almost 500 jumps in. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner!
1:10 - Best scene!!!
How could anyone not want to do this?
Steven Loxham Waited 46 years to do it, one of the most amazing, Zen like experiences of my life.
The answer is simple, in time, after a few thrills are over, longevity begins to look very appealing! In short, most people grow up! But some never do.
@Cersei Simpson Spoken like the first to buy bread and milk before a storm that never shows up. You will die, that is a fact. Will you live? Yet to be seen.
I'm afraid of falling. But I will get out of my comfort zone and do this someday.
@@user-wj5ox3so5x Don't worry about falling... It's the sudden stop at the end that will get cha.😬
"Why do you want to jump from a plane?" "Because the sky doesn't have rules. You think we are free but the truth is we are locked in a cage with stupid problems about money or politics etc. I want to jump because I want to fly. Because I want to feel free" That will always be my answer :)
+Lef D Unless you're in the U.S. airspace then sky police will come and beat you
same idea (y) !!
❤

Lef D lets go to skydive :)
The video and music is a perfect blend.
Today I did my first skydive, along with a professional, from 4000 meters height. I got it as a gift for my 20th Birthday. All thanks to you Dexter Marcelino, this video truly inspired me and without it I wouldn't had experienced the adrenaline, fun and beauty of our planet. Thank You!
Last year I did a tandem jump and after that I watched your video dozens of times. Then, back in August I began my AFF course and in April I finished my license. Thank you so much for the inspiration! Blue skies & happy landings! 🤘
Me too. I’ve watched this so many times after my second tandem. AFF booked in a few months. Thank you for the nudge 🪂🤙
Me too! Watched your video countless times and made my license. Thank you so much!! It’s an awesome sport with amazing people!
Absolutely one of the best skydiving videos! So much fun!!
It's been a decade, one of my first Favorited videos and I still love it!!
I come back to this video every single year, 2020 has me coming back every month.
Nothing beats flying through the clouds!
the most beautiful skydive video i ever saw...thank you so much for that special moment...tears in my eyes...dont stop ever...
+Mrs Crowley one day we fly honey ;)
Waow ! It's just amazing...
Beautiful! It's been over 25 years since my last jump, and the sport has come such a long way since then. But the memories remain. Thank you for this magnificent video!
I see youve gotten back into it! great to see
A comment from 9 years ago telling about 25 years off last jump, then recent videos skydiving. Cheers!
This video gives me chills and makes me smile so hard, these guys are living the life!
Great production that puts you in the moment. Thank you and peace
This is easily one of my favorite KZhead videos. Great job, Dexter! Brilliant perspectives,,, Plz post more soon =)
I remember seeing this video before i started skydiving last year and was really excited . After watching it again i now appreciate it even more!!!, words cannot describe, great video dude. Blue Skies.
You're the reason why I start with the parachuting. Thank you for your incredible good video. :) pls. make more video´s ;))))
There's something about skydiving like this that gives me some sense of true freedom. There's only you and the sky. No war, no problems, no burdens...just sky and peace. Thanks for showing me this message.
Just did my first AFF last week, came to search for skydiving videos after it. It was amazing, I wanna do more. Stressed out like hell before the jump, but a sensation nothing like it after the jump. I wanna get back on that airplane and go through all AFF levels. I'm frustrated that I didn't discover it earlier, I'm almost 35 and wasted like 15 years of skydiving opportunities...
+thePRFCNM how many times have you jumped?
I don't jump. I am hoping to do my 1st tandem jump in a couple of weeks. I admire skydivers and unsure if I could ever do jumps on my own. :)
non
I’m 44 and just started skydiving last year. I’m on AFF jump 3 now on my way to get my license. It’s never too late. I found my peace and I found my people. Blue Skies 🤘
When I turned 13 i saved all my money to do a tandemjump. Now I'm 14 and next month I'll jump again! My parents say it's money waste but it's just so beautiful, everyone should try this. Edit; for the people who live in a country where you have to be 18, it's real. I live in the Netherlands and it doesn't matter how old you are. You and your parents need to sign a contract when you're younger than 18 though.
Yllen Ykema Do the AFF and you will understand why tandem is a waste... hehe guess what, you parents were right...
Raphael Lages Oh god yes please! Need to wait 2 years, but yeah I'll work next year and save money for the lessons. Hope my parents agree with it. And even tho the tandemjumps are expensive, they're worth it. It's amazing!
Yllen Ykema I hope you enjoy your second jump even more than your first. Just keep jumping!
Yllen Ykema I'm jumping for my first time in some month and i will make the lessons for the pass very soon
Yllen Ykema You usually have to be over 16 to go skydiving..
It's inspiring to know that these experiences are possible, so thank you for sharing.
i just started skydiving, had my first solo jumps today! i love the passion i feel while watching this video now. thank you and blue skies! 🤙🏻
1:39 Like literally i've never seen someone hows that cool "Oh wow, its a bit cold outside, should have bough some gloves ...".I (would) love (to try) Skydiving
Came back constantly, still one of the best skydivevideos so far 👍🏼

Those all black helmets/facemasks look badass! Gotta get one of those someday.
Got crazy all over body tingles just watching that sunset flyby. brings all those feelings back i had when jumping. well done!
looks absolutely beautiful from up there
Especialy above those clouds
This is just insanely beautiful. Awesome
Did my first jump today! It was amazing, no words. Hopefully one day I can get to this level. :)
well its been 6 years anything?
Really - ...words weak. Amongst the clouds in big blue sky, the only place true answers lie! I´d really like do this some day!
damn, the best skydiving photo of internet is on 6:24, EPIC

YEAH I WAS LIKE NO WAY! Famous even 5 years later....

A Ballet in the clouds to an incredible violinist. Very nice work
2:16 looked like they were in the heavens
Did anyone else notice the close call at 6:03?
Back in 2015 i did my skydiving licence and had 10 jumps. I was already a plane pilot and skydiving was the ice on the cake. Sadly, i went though a lot in my life soon after and became addicted to drugs. I spent all my money, all my savings, everything and even lost one eye during a drug inducted stroke. It took me 3 years to get out of this situation with now 30 kg to lose. I'm not a plane pilot anymore and i'll never be due to my bad sight. But when i see this video, like when i saw it almost 10 years ago, the passion is still there. The motivation to become healthy again and maybe one day jump inside a pilatus again. Looking the clouds approaching, smelling the plane kerosene again, approach the door and litteraly jump into my new life. Soon i'll accomplish this again, but trust me... i'll never stop. I don't even know if you are still active Dexter but if you are : Thanks for the motivation.
Beautiful video, smiles on all their faces. Can't wait until I can do it.
5:45 Bye-bye GoPro
:) kkkkkk . What is this camera? Do you know?
Personally, I can never do skydiving. It will scare me half to death.
No. Go to tandem jump. No scare. Only normal breath and relax. Instructor do all for your flight. Belive me, there are no scare.Only enjoy, adrenalin rush and chill on colorful sky! Go and jump with instructor. Yout life will do U turn!
I thought you weren't able to fall through clouds.
***** Haha sarcasm at its finest. I knew someone would do that haha. But I ask this because i am currently in an AFF training course to be certified in skydiving, and according to some rules and regulations they sayyour not allowed to fall through clouds because you never know what is beneath the cloud like another diver, or plane.
***** Its all good man it gave me a laugh haha. But yea the AFF is going good, thank for askin. Its just annoying sometimes because they wont let students jump under certain weather conditions so sometimes i cant jump when i want to, otherwise its great! Cant wait till i can go jump on my own whenever i feel like it.
Alex Mazza Oh wow that is good to know thank you Alex. also thanks for the good luck i appreciate it bro.
Alex Mazza Yea absolutely, if we further our knowledge about the sport then it will only get more safe for everyone.
Hunter Wow that sounds great, its cool you have a wind tunnel at your convenience, i wish i could try one of those out im sure they're great practice. But good for you man keep a focused mind and you'll be fine through out the AFF.
This is my fav SD video ever and I think always will be,! ❤
You won’t even believe how many times I have watched this over the years..
How many times have you watched this video? Im at about 50.
cranester386 Hey do you skydive yourself?
I'm at about countless! 😀
Absolutely love your video! Give me chills
First jump Sunday at 9am SkyDive Dallas! Tandem for my first ride. So stoked! I haven't been able to stop watching this beautiful video! Love the dub you threw in here as well. Thanks for sharing this!
Looks crazy insane, I'm sorry I'll just sit here and enjoy your videos.... really cool
after 2 years watching this video, i still think the best part is the sequence at 6.13, the moves are just GREAT!

AMAZING!!!! VERY BEAUTIFUL
I saw this video 9 years ago. It inspired me to this day to someday get my skydiving license. Im on it. Thanks for the video, Dexter. I hope you made good memories in the last 10 years.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Such a sick vid dude. Awesome footage and amazing editing and sound track 👏👏👏🤙😎🍺

I cann't tire of watching this video...
And the picture at the end... It's my wallpaper... Everywhere 😅😁😍❤ I love it!!!
The very definition of awesome Sweet video!!!!!!!
still one of the greatest videos on youtube! inspiration for my own videos! thanks a lot
Nice Channel. Keep on jumping!
Dude, this vid is awesome! Thanks for motivating me to better my skills!
so wonderful, so cool explanation. glad to see so impressive clip!!! you are the best
Finally, some music that doesn't hurt the ears and distract from the beautiful video! I can't jump, I have had acrophobia from earliest childhood, but I became a GA pilot to help overcome it, and it helped, but I'll never really lose that fear. I feel so free when I'm flying a plane but no sky-diving for me! I bungee-jumped a few times, but as you age, longevity begins to look pretty appealing! I saw a guy stream out once when I was at the airport watching jumpers, there was a flight instructor next to me watching, and when he saw that, he threw down his binoculars and walked off. I watched. I'll never forget it as long as I live! Being medical personnel, I ran to help, but if was no use. Very sad. I always thought if GHW Bush could tandem-jump at age 90, so could anyone, even me! But when I was younger, I took chances, but now, no more! I lived by the ocean and dived, that was also a kind of freedom, but I moved, so no more diving. I ski in the mountains and feel a sense of freedom but no Xtreme skiing for me off cliffs, etc.! Now age 90 looks good, I hope I get there some day!
human airplanes!!!! the real super hero's...i cant wait to do this!!!! looks like its so much fun especially with your crew or circle of love/true and real friends!!
That song Actually got me high
Wow, I get happy just watching this. Looks like SOOO much fun :D
This video... This is incredible. Awesome. This feeling. I don't know. I'm young, but I hope I can do it one time.
Thanks for the beautiful video... there's no way to describe that flood of joy and exhilaration when you step over that threshold from the plane into the sky. I've done tandem twice & have a third jump lined up, but wondering if I should take a step further & learn to solo? I think I'm addicted. 💗💗
mojo6077 After 2 tandems, just ask your DZ about the next step. Of you are addicted you should do it!! Best feeling ever!
That's awesome!! Very cool video. Beautiful!
Amazing video! I have jumped once and certainly have the bug! Your video inspires me to do even more!
I'm an 14 y/o austrian boy. I did my first skydive with 12 years. and 1 week ago i did the second. your video inspired me so much, that i will do the AFF course next year. I love this video. The best i've ever seen. Thank you so so so much for uploading !
This is amazing!
I performed many jumps in the military and I’ll tell you, I miss it to the point I have tears in my eyes. But skydiving is definitely in my bucket list. 🙌🏾🙏🏾🦾🇵🇷
Honestly watching this video almost brings me to tears everytime. Pure emotion. Sensory overload at its finest. I just got my aff and have 13 dives so far. I was scared at first, but anything is possible my friends! Never give up!
How many jumps seven years later? 😜
I was just going to ask same question ☝🏼😀
@@alinenunes1102 Covid, life, and injuries have kept me out of the sport for the past few years but I have 245. Itching to get back in the sky!
@@comcast831 We’re the injuries skydiving related?😬
@@comcast831 Is it hard to claim the AFF? Like are there actually a bunch of people failing for it? Thank you!
Dexter marcelino damm its been 4 year. Wow. I remember looking at this vid back in those days dreaming about skydiving no 4 years later and 300 jumps. Thank. U. U are big motivation. Wen are u coming back to Lodi. I would like to jump with. U
5:25 Best part. PHYSICS
My father made 6000 jumps at skydive Opelika in Tuskegee, where the historical Tuskegee airmen trained.... I am 18 now and I have made 3 tandems, I cannot wait till next spring to start jump school and get my license, I have been saving up my money, and I honestly cannot contain my excitement, blue skies!
all the love from Canada
How much will you save? I also want.
@@adzespinas5155 you need around $2800 for an AFF program, that will get you the A license. Add to that flight tickets, food, hotel, rent a cart, and any other expenses needed
Makes it a lot easier to have parents that know how to have fun. My family is full of lame asses that just work full time and sit in front of the tube
Go, good for you. I have one tandem and want to continue. :D blue skys
watched this many, MANY times before, watching it today after my first tandem skydiving experience. Awesome feeling and great video :)
this might be my new favourite video on youtube.... really really hope to try this one day
Why not this weekend? ;)
ducksoup786 hope to try this when i'm not in school anymore;D
jule79 try this. you wont have any words to describe the feeling when you land on the ground. simply - amazing. some people even cry :D its addicting to feel alive ! ! ! i tried it, and i know for sure - THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO IN MY LIFE :D
jule79 and by the way, in the beginning its very scarry :D every single time i check my altimeter when on the plane, im nervous knowing, that soon ill have to jump out :D but when i get to the door all fear disappears, i dont know why :D maybe its just me :/
I also want to try it but i'm scared that i'm going to have struggle breathing, when i just poke my head out of the car i almost can't breath so when i fall out of a plane :$
That quote though "Jump from planes!" some ask me "why?" Yet words convey such week reply. Amongst the clouds in big blue sky, the only place true answers lie.
Has anyone else got goosebumps? amazing video
This is by far my favorite skydiving video on the internet. Thank you. When ever I am missing it, you restore the majesty, awe, and freedom I experience in that freefall and flying.
oh man I love the bits when you fall through the clouds, reminds me of my jump. it really hits home just how quick you are falling, LOVE IT!
