That match VS Vinci was a thing of Art
That match against Vichka has to be her best match ever, probably one of the best perfomances of that era
For sure!
I totally agree 🎉🎉🎉
I would say the one with Muguruza, but all of them were amazing
Radwanska’s game was never about power but more so her ability to move around the court effectively, retrieving every shot and coming up with phenomenal shots by taking plenty of risk! I miss her style of play 💖
She was also a mind reader, which I think was a bit unfair.
@@EnoVarma EXACTLY! her anticipation is insane i haven't seen anything like it
I can't believe girls like penko, raducanu ,kenin got their slams very early and someone like agga could not make that :-(
The Radwanska-Vinci match is the best tennis match I've ever seen.
The level was just sooo ridiculous, all those hand skills and forays to the net! The commentators could not stop laughing in disbelief at the craftiness on display
yeah old school stuff
So beautiful to watch. You don’t see this kind of match anymore
No... you can see the same logic also today but not that frequently...and not from top players... Cmon... tenis is not only strong hits front and back... We only know top 50 players but tenis is not only what i said... for no reason...
No one is currently playing like Agnieszka Radwańska did.
Retired almost 4 years ago and still my favourite WTA player, ever. Haven't watched lots of wta matches ever since cus I miss her so much :(
Same! I only watched her matches
That was a great times. Radwanska, Li Na, Kuznetsowa, Errani, Bartoli, Sharapova, Venus...
Me also used to watch WTA just because of her
Yeah, I miss her too. Retired way too soon.
@@92matik the errani and bartoli sneaks
I miss Aga on the tour 😢 There is nobody else like Radwanska! She was so graceful, classy, agile and inspirational to watch. A wonderful player. ❤
Ons Jabeur ?
Radwanska is something special to woman tennis in power game era. she is one of the most talented with variety game style which is so rare in this day. I miss era of Aga, vika, Woz
Omg yes totally agree, miss that era too
I miss Li Na the most :(((
that 1st but especially 3rd set against vika is the best aga has ever played in my opinion. especially because vika was 2 time defending champ
she's a legend. never dominator, but simply legend, and magician
She was always in God mode! Miss you Agnieszka!
The statistics of the match against Vinci...Surreal ! 76 winners vs 47 UE and 101 net points 😱
What a delight to watch. She proves that you don't have to be the best to be the best.
Ah, Aga, our brilliant Ninja :(
2022: Aga was artist of tennis. No one came close a very long time
Only Ons Jabeur. Also magician of tennis, also number 2 of WTA, also final of Grand Slam, also lost..... Finals :)
I was lucky enough to watch her at Wimbledon and it was amazing
Watched most of those matches live on TV (or via streams); videos like this one make me miss her even more 😓
Look how she made all of them run, run, run! I miss Aga. Will always be one of my faves.
Holy Jesus, what a talent, so sad she didn't win GS...
Radwanska is one my favourite female players ever. She was physically quite slender - 58 or 56 kg I believe and yet she was so clever and technically gifted , it was incredible too watch. She was unlucky to play in Serena w. era . Serena was physically bigger than some men on the ATP tour so Radwanska peaked at number 2 but it is for the first essence of graceful female tennis . No disgusting screening or moaning just nice tennis
4:25 is my all time favorite short in all tennis matches i have ever watched😘😘😘
Nothing excites me more than the AO2014 QF match. Probably watched the highlights 300 times
Her game was so entertaining. Miss her a lot.
Probably the best female player never to win a slam.
how can Aga wins slam in the same era where Serena and Sharapova dominates the WTA
@@netgodzilla1 The same way other players like Henin, Halep, Bartoli, Schiavone, Kvitova and Pennetta did.
I agree.
She just holds a Dementieva’s beer 🍺
Absolutely! She really had her chances…Serena was too tough at Wimbledon in the final and at the AO semi, but the match against Liscicki in the semis at Wimbledon leading 3-0 in the 3rd with Bartoli waiting in the final, a woman Aga always thrashed….Aga could taste that title. Liscicki did play great though and was brave when it counted and I think Aga was tiring after so many long 3 setters on her way to the semis. Losing to Domi in the AO semi was another huge moment of opportunity. I don’t think Aga has many regrets, but surely those two matches she must wish she could have given more when she really needed it. On grass I feel she was second best to the Williams sisters and that says a lot.
Most players who fell into her cat & mouse game couldn't beat her. She would just glide, slice and dice. Only the elite GS winners who knew her strategy knew they had to go full power to beat her.
2 missing here: Tokyo 2012 SF: def. Kerber 6-1 6-1 Madrid 2012 2R: def. Errani 6-1 6-0 Peak Aga
Especially that Tokyo SF. She finished with an incredible ratio w/UE ratio of 20-4. Kerber herself hit 28 winners and managed to win 2 games out of it.
Great video! Aga was so calm and had the best hands and anticipation on tour. If she trusted her net game more, she could have snuck out a few more big wins.
She may not had been the quickest player, but she had near mind reading lvl of anticipation.
Aggie had one of the highest court IQs.........she lacked a big serve, did not have powerful groundstrokes, but she made up for all that with her smart play..
I'd love to see Radwańska play these days and make some of these youngsters cry 😃
They are so erratic, I bet she would…if she came back with a super spinny deep second serve, she’d be ready to do it.
@@lp3468 i still remember when she made young Ostapenko cry out if frustration in between games and cameras caught her talking to her coach that Radwańska can't even play tennis, how can she beat me 😄
@@roksancheb7688I remember this as well it was hilarious😂
the whole video about Radwanska. I ♥️you
4:24 thats my all time favourite slice of aga😘 6:21 most unbelievable pick up
I missed Aga again after watching this! She brought me to tennis again after Justine Henin. 2016 is a year to remember personally as I saw a huge comeback from her in the late 2015 and winning the WTA Finals. It’s like she continued with confidence and developed new techniques for 2016. I still remember the moment of reading her retirement post on Facebook, I was shocked but truly understood. ❤️
I miss Aga so much
The best hands i have ever seen in the women's game.
Bummer, she didn't get a GS not even the number 1 spot. One of the greatest missed in WTA.
Thanks for the video, so much fun to watch Aga play 🥰
It's incredible how much she achieved with a weak serve, no power and the worst forehand technique I have ever seen in WTA. It just show what a great tactician she was and her anticipation was always on point.
weak serve,,,but i need to say,, she had produce quite a lot of ace
@@arefik9059 Actually her 1st was pretty good especially from 2011 to 2016, full of excellent directions. The 2nd was terrible though.
Worst forehand? Wozniacki’s was worse 💀
Thank you so much for making this video! I enjoyed every second of it :))
Wimbledon 2013 was her, even Bartoli said that. Plus maybe Australian Open 2014.
Yeah I agree. Those two slams should’ve been hers :(
Dont understand how she got destroyed by cibulkova in that AO
@@rye4161 very strange considering the beatdown she gave Azarenka (who was two time defending champion) in the previous round
@@DeclanSkinner she also always got beaten by azarenka
Aga miss u
Agree with all the comments here, a refreshing change to see a female player, that's not all about power and how hard you can hit, but craft, and artistry, shame she never won a GS, miss her game very much
Genia total de la raqueta, un deleite su juego. Gracias !!!!!!!
Probably one of the best players not to win a GS. But her game depended too much on defence. I never understood why she didn't/couldn't have more bite on her shots - there are shorter/smaller players who could generate more power and win at least few easy shots.
I say the same thing too.
I think it's partly Aga's fault. Her coach said Aga didn't want to gain muscle and train more in a gym because she wanted to 'look like a woman'. Which is a shame. With her talent she could've achieved way more. Unfortunately, relying too much on your opponent's mistakes is always risky. When her opponent was having a good day she was dominated by the power and couldn't have done anything. She was consistent af which is a huge achievement in WTA but that lack of power is the reason she didn't win any GS (despite let's be clear, worse players winning it)
@@marcinrollins1658 ahh such a shame really.
she had lots of surgeries that could explain why she always wore tapes on her shoulder, it was being exploited enough
For all the technical prowess she had when comes to other shots, she had poor forehand and backhand technique. Very stiff, not much wrist action. Hard to generate power that way.
She was just an incredible and highly tactical player. I wish she had won a slam to solidify her career legacy.
I thought there would be the 6-0 6-0 match against Cibulkova
She didn't play all that well. Dominika went self-explode mode. Agnieszka played far better in their 2008 Doha QF.
I keep saying that her best ever match has to be Tokyo 2012 SF. All of those listed here are great of course, too. I think Eastbourne 2008 F or San Diego/Carlsbad 2010 SF could be here too.
Exactly, Her best ever match has to be Tokyo
@@lukasz_j or the Aussie open one against azarenka
@@kecleonboi I noticed that whenever Aga truly transcended herself she'd play very poorly in the next match. :-(
I think her final in Tokyo against Belinda Bencic in 2015 was excellent too. There weren't a lot of "ninja shots" in it but she made very few mistakes.
Stan you are right. Maybe her defensive skills took a lot out of her and left her exhausted mentally and or physically.
Não há duas com a mesma técnica primorosa da Aga Radwanska. 🙌🏼N°1🙌🏼
she was remors of powerfull man-woman playeers who have only strenght. she had no strenght, but brain, cardio, and incredible tehnique
or when she double bagled Cibulkova in Sydney final
We miss our ninja on tour
amazing to watch! she's a treasure
Related to dropshots Aga was the Monfils of WTA
Azarenka fell into Agnieszka's cat & mouse game and after the 2nd set it was over.
Both Agnieszka and Roberta technically excuisite. Fantastic play to watch.
Her games.... You don't feel BORINGS. Nowadays, most games are so straight forward and boring....
To me she was RF style in women tennis.
Radwańska was a pusher with a defensive style, a good lob and dropshot, no similarities between her and RF, let's be serious. Hingis - sure, but not Federer.
Aga
The precursor of Ons Jabeur.
Please a same video with Simona !!!
This is what I missing by Iga Świątek
Wyobraźcie Sobie teraz Iga Vs Aga... Radwanska jedna z najlepszych technicznie zawodniczek... Iga wali piłki lewa, prawa i biegaj ..ciężko wybrać kto by wygrał.. Z góry sorki, nie jestem znawca i nie oceniajcie pod tym kątem. Oglądam tenis bo lubię. Pozdro 😁
Na ziemi i twardej Iga by wciągnęła nosem Radwańską w prime, na trawie Aga w prime miałaby szansę z dzisiejszą Igą.
Do Angie Next pleaseeee
kerber god mode pleaseeeeeee
2:22 :DDDDDDD
If someone tells me today of a female player that plays like radwanska, id be instantly a fan! No other player like her.😢
Do Simona Halep going God mode
God mode vs drougs 🙊🙈
😊😊😊👍👍
😍🍿
Have anyone seen Mugu went to a God Mode? If yes - when? where? I'm just wondering
French Open 2016
Radwanska didn’t she retire and no one cared about it ?
my poor girl never peak in the last rounds of the slams
Truth for sure. She peeked in the smaller events. She won 20 titles I believe and plenty of tier 1’s. Least she got the year end champs though.
Too bad that going "god mode" a few times isn't enough to win a grand slam. Not even one. Not even close.
The two slams she had the biggest opportunities for was Wimbledon 2013 and Australian Open 2014. Shame she couldn’t win both :(
I’d say being 4 games away from a Wimbledon title was pretty damn close. She led 2-1 final set and was very sick in the final.
If Radwańska had the same power es Iga świątek nover days... Dementieva the dumbest player ever... Radwańska, Świątek, Woźniacka, Lisicka, Kerber....they all are polish players.
