On a frosty winter day, having gone into the forest with a minimum of equipment, I decided to spend the night. The snow in the forest was waist-deep, and it was difficult to get through without skis and snowshoes. Having reached a secluded place, I had to dig a tunnel in the snow for a long time, cut off thin branches and spruce branches and cover the dug tunnel with them. After which I covered everything with snow, and it turned out to be a cozy and high-quality shelter for survival in a snowy forest.
Having unfastened the ice auger and reindeer skin from my backpack, I went to the river. Getting out onto the river turned out to be a difficult task, the wind blew a lot of snow to the edge of the forest, and I had to literally crawl to get out to the river.
The weather was favorable for good fishing. in a few hours I caught about 8 perch, and returned to camp to prepare firewood.
The frost was about minus twenty degrees Celsius, I spent a lot of effort preparing firewood for the evening.
After I lit the fire, I started making fish soup from the perch I caught. It should warm me up from the inside and return the energy spent on preparing firewood.
