  • I’m buying this car as soon as they hit the lot, the grill and interior look better than the previous generation but I will say a minor flaw would be the tail lights, it doesn’t look as good as the previous generation. Nevertheless, I’m still buying it and holding onto it, Toyota has proven that they can make long lasting cars and thats coming from someone that drives a 2003 Toyota Solara with 203,000 miles.

  • Was at the New York car show today, Jeff. The Camry was the last car we looked at. The spokes people are actually giving a review of the car and I actually want a prize… I like this a lot. I had a 2029 XSE windchill Pearl with the cockpit red interior that I turned in after my lease and I then leased a RAV4 hybrid SE. I miss my Camry a lot!… Looking at another RAV4 hybrid either the XSE or the prime XSE.. was waiting for this to come out so I can see it in person and I like it. The front end has to grow on me a little bit, however not a fan of this color but everything about the vehicle did mention that this was a fixed glass roof that is a fixed roof that is a dealbreaker for me as I like my sunroof to be able to open, so I’ll have to check more into that

    • They’ve said since they announced in November that it would be available in “spring of 2024”. If they are true to their word - they have 2 months and 3 weeks left to make that deadline. I don’t know if it is related or not, but over the last 6 weeks, the supply of 2024 hybrid Camry’s has dwindled to nearly nothing. I’m wondering if they haven’t been stockpiling their battery supply to meet the demand of the 25’s when they ship.

    • It looks cheap and edgy. The hammerhead aesthetic is a bad fad that Toyota should have abandoned as quickly as it started instead of quadrupling down on it. It creates a bizarre illusion of not being able to tell what the vehicle's "eyes" are. On top of that the DRLs are possibly the worst placed DRLs of any vehicle ever and actually create a third layer of unclarity over where the vehicle's "eyes" are. It's such an awkward design that will age horribly. I wouldn't be caught dead driving one of these monstrosities. Toyota has generally been making uglier and uglier vehicles for years.
