Next-gen 2025 Camry is coming. See what features, technology, safety, powertrains, styling, interior, etc to expect.
Thanks everyone for your support of my channel. Please watch an ad or two while looking at my videos. It helps and I have great partners!
I’m buying this car as soon as they hit the lot, the grill and interior look better than the previous generation but I will say a minor flaw would be the tail lights, it doesn’t look as good as the previous generation. Nevertheless, I’m still buying it and holding onto it, Toyota has proven that they can make long lasting cars and thats coming from someone that drives a 2003 Toyota Solara with 203,000 miles.
you have it all mixed up. the back of the car looks great meanwhile the front looks horrible.
That front is ugly, it looks like a whale smiling with a wasp nest underneath. The back is nice.
@@ThinkMoneyBennyI agree with you.
@@ThinkMoneyBenny Are we looking at the same thing?
Hopefully you're on the list or you'll wait another 2 years...
Still waiting to see a base model
Same here. Always the XLE and XSE, but never the base trims lol
Would’ve been fire if the grill had light behind it to give it a more futuristic look
@@shok192it’s an autoshow of course they are going to show their top of the line vehicles 😂. A base model will just come with the basic amenities.
I love the black painted roof with the sliver. It would look good in white with a black roof too.
Thanks Jeff. I really appreciate your videos. You sold me on my 2024 RAV4 XLE Premium.
That front grill is anything but “pretty neat”. I’m trying so hard to like this new design, so far I just can’t.
It’s horrible. The back is nice tho
The Japanese version looks way better. The interior is a vast improvement however and the main reason I didn't purchase the previous gen
I don’t like it either. It’s FUGLY imo. Maybe it’s better in black where you don’t notice it as much. I think I’ll stop at the ‘24.
Cool. Good review. Nice car. I am so glad to see they got away from the analogue gauges! Tempting...
I am a fan. I love what they have done with the Camry. Also when it's time to for me to buy, which will probably be next year, I'm coming to Fred Anderson as long as I can get it for MSRP.
I’ll stay with my 21 Camry XSE, I love the dual exhaust look on my naturally aspirated V6. Midnight metallic blue all blacked out
I like it!!!
I like how everyone else who reviewed this locked model wasn't able to get in but you were lol moving up in the world Jeff
Hi Jeff, luv the 4 WD Hybrid option. Can U add a Head up display?
Nice
Were the leather seats perforated? Was hard to tell
i’ll keep my 20 v6 xse for now
Pricing info yet? Thanks for the video.
Look like a Camry 😅. Don't get me wrong. It's a nice looking car but i will definitely keep my 8th generation until the wheels fall off. No car note for me.
Still feel that Toyota needs to make natural aspirated engines. Hybrids are expensive to fix.
@@jeffreyfurtado3681I think they are making a big mistake.
Thanks to Joe Biden, the pressure was on them to go that route.
@@brandondyer6546So bizarre that our government would rather push EVs than public transport lol
@filetofish7688 Yeah and don't even know potential meaningful disaster of it.
The red interior is just too bright. I wish they'd choose a shade more like Mazda has in it's red interiors, more subtle and high end looking.
Was at the New York car show today, Jeff. The Camry was the last car we looked at. The spokes people are actually giving a review of the car and I actually want a prize… I like this a lot. I had a 2029 XSE windchill Pearl with the cockpit red interior that I turned in after my lease and I then leased a RAV4 hybrid SE. I miss my Camry a lot!… Looking at another RAV4 hybrid either the XSE or the prime XSE.. was waiting for this to come out so I can see it in person and I like it. The front end has to grow on me a little bit, however not a fan of this color but everything about the vehicle did mention that this was a fixed glass roof that is a fixed roof that is a dealbreaker for me as I like my sunroof to be able to open, so I’ll have to check more into that
Dope car however I was turned off by it being Hybrid only on all models. I was able to secure the 2024 Camry XSE V6. Happy with my decision. Had to get the last V6.
Great decision
The same Camry V6 engine is still available in the Lexus ES 350. Toyota just kept the V6 in their luxury brand.
@@TamlaPearsey Rumor has it that the V6 is also going away in the ES in 2025 models. It’s rumored to be revamped with a 2.5 liter version. Looks like they are slowly replacing all of their engines. V8 are also rumored to be going away
@@user-kk3qg5el1m oh , I see.
I really like the style. But now that I've had a medium sized SUV, I am used to the trunk room, and don't want to give that up.
does it have heated steering and seats?
Jeff, Legen-Dairy makes this new Camry sound delicious and refreshing. Is it? 🤔
I’m waiting for a CAMRY PRIME!
Toyota has closed orders for the Camry in Australia... as soon as they open up orders again I am in for the Camry SL(top of the range) in Australia
16" inch wheel still available! ? That's the one to get!
I have a 2017 Camry LE with 36K miles on it. Should I keep it or trade it for a new Camry while I can still some $ for the low mileage trade in ? Would pay cash for the difference
It looks nice but I still prefer the look of my 8th gen. I like the C-pillar of mine, particularly where the rear passenger door edge meets the C-pillar. It’s thicker. The new one is thinner. I also prefer the taillights of mine over the new one. And I love my Ruby Flare Pearl.
16inch wheels??
I like my XSE V6. Not a fan of the grill.
Womp womp
@@luk3ski womp womp what. It’s my opinion.
I agree it’s horrible
Same here. After seeing the 2025 camry, I decided I'm keeping my 2022 Silver XSE V6
@@LuV2SPDup Take care of it because they will have great resell value, I think they will be highly sought after for people,e loving the old design and v6 gas engine more so than this model.
What about sir sounds?
Outstanding review. Not your grandfather's carry!
My grandfather didn’t have a carry
mid size? like to see a bigger one?
I'm waiting for the NexGen Rav4.
Does it have an option for just a gas engine, or is it only hybrids?
Only hybrid
All gone. Sad 😞
I Want To See The LE Model
that front is beautiful, its like lexus ish
Take my money
When is this supposed to hit dealerships? I’m not getting my hopes up because any new model car that’s come out is still getting marked up and the interest rates are all over the place so I hope Toyota has good manufacture incentives. Or else I’m keeping my 2020 accord 2 L turbo sport for a while.
They’ve said since they announced in November that it would be available in “spring of 2024”. If they are true to their word - they have 2 months and 3 weeks left to make that deadline. I don’t know if it is related or not, but over the last 6 weeks, the supply of 2024 hybrid Camry’s has dwindled to nearly nothing. I’m wondering if they haven’t been stockpiling their battery supply to meet the demand of the 25’s when they ship.
I just don’t like the grill on the higher end styles. Otherwise I’m happy with the new Camry. The interior is much better looking than that weird curve stuff they had going on.
Toyota didn’t change their style of car design. They only changed the front
Are all Camry's AWD ?
The Asian market version infotainment and front daylight running light got better look
Finally!! passenger powered seats lol. Hopefully this is a standard option on the XSE and XLE. My $34k 2022 Toyota does not have a power passenger seat 🤦♂️😡
Hopefully Toyota will put the TRD package on this new model
I don’t think so. I think TRD is done, better get the 2024
This is more like Camry 8.5 gen. Its design changes are very similar to my 7.5 gen. Whaddya think?
The 8th generation looks completely different from 7th. But the 9th does look like 8.5 generation. I don't like how the front and back looks like. But from the side, it almost looks the same.
@@LuV2SPDupyeah, the 7th and 8th are not the same. I meant that the design enhancement or changes from 8th to 9th reminds me of the design enhancement from 7th to 7.5th. It is truly a 9th gen is the question here.
Anyone...how much will this cost?
You can either get this or a Honda Accord or pay 20 or 30,000 more for a BMW, Mercedes or Audi for the name and notoriety but more problems.
Didn't know Jeff was a Barney Stinson fan! 😎
WAIT FOR IT… Lol
No CVT for me.
eCVT’s are completely different from regular CVT’s and Toyota seems to have solved a lot of the reliability issues that CVT’s used to have with their eCVT system.
It looks like a Prius
First time car buyer. I always hear "you should try to avoid the first year of a new model." Considering that the '25 Camry essential is carrying forward a great deal of the '24 Camry, would that still apply here?
Camry has been a reliable car for many years. I understand what you mean, but they have been using this engine and electric power on other previous models. Haven't heard they had issues with them
Thumb up for Jeff. Thumb down in my heart for what looks like a hideous refresh and an awful note for the Camry to possibly end on
. 🌑🖤🌑 Camry 🌑🖤🌑 . 🏆 In the name of God 🏁 . . 💯 god bless 🕺🏻 .
Cost
Cost will be revealed tomorrow :)
the current camry is more beautiful than the new accord. and this 2025 is way!!! more beautiful than the accord....honda should fire the guy who approved the design the new accord
Batteries and cvt transmission, good luck
Lexus Camry
not really much of a change on the outside and inside, Even the whole dash is the same with some changes in the middle.
The dash is completely different
I just can't... Who's in the design room? Who's in the focus groups? Supposed to improve but they didn't. I'll stick with my 8th Gen. Also who wanted fuel economy over power??? 🙄
good thing the DRL is not on....its not as beautiful as what the prius have
Guady Toyota design. Give me a Accord
Love the sleekness of the overall design, but the front grill is damn ugly. Reminds me of my neighbour's window grill
it doensnt come with a knob..or was it already stolen? LOL
I dont like the front grid,it looks weird.
How do people not like the grill it looks awesome
It looks cheap and edgy. The hammerhead aesthetic is a bad fad that Toyota should have abandoned as quickly as it started instead of quadrupling down on it. It creates a bizarre illusion of not being able to tell what the vehicle's "eyes" are. On top of that the DRLs are possibly the worst placed DRLs of any vehicle ever and actually create a third layer of unclarity over where the vehicle's "eyes" are. It's such an awkward design that will age horribly. I wouldn't be caught dead driving one of these monstrosities. Toyota has generally been making uglier and uglier vehicles for years.
They made a camry look like a prius, front and back. The only thing that looks good on this new camry, is the side, which looks identical to the 8th generation. I also like the interior. I like the fact that the odometer is fully digital, and I like the bigger screen.
Too little change, too late. EV eating up market share.
Looks like Hyundai
Toyota went from some of the blandest designs on the market to some of the best designs.
we want the big room. not the same shell as well. that was cramped. by the way toyota is toyota. never make the car for passenger. it just for driver. look at all new honda accord. that’s just big and spacious. why not toyota make the camry big as well? hmm
Looks like Hyundai.. overall not much change
Yeah I’m a huge Toyota fan but I’m not a fan of the front end
That’s okay
Cvt......
The back looks worse, the front is debatable. The only obvious upgrade is inside and AWD for all models.
I’m thinking the opposite. The front is horrible and the back is nice
@@user-kk3qg5el1mcareful, you can possibly convince me and ruin the whole design for me! LOL
Front end still makes me think of a whale shark with its mouth open .. ugly. And where is the V6 ? Oh ya, the gas mileage savings of the hybrid? Best save those $$$ to pay for a new battery down the road.
Wasn't the v6 dropped because of emissions like on most Toyotas?
720p lame
lol - higher res on a 12” screen is pointless
@@williamfrench9973 talking about the dork who uploaded the video
@@righteousone1 that makes more sense 🫢
More hybrid junk
Hard pass 😖
nice ! first is Lexus, now Toyota. uglier and uglier
I'd like to know how it drives
Toyota will never get me to purchase a Hybrid or EV as they are both pure garbage and worthless. That is my perspective. Everyone else, hope you don't buy.
I don’t know what you’re on but the hybrids might be the most reliable Toyota engines out there
I want the V6 back. 🥲
that front grill is so ugly too big😂
